I loved the Dual update! I do think the kids meal for breakfast is a great deal. We've gotten that before for Lily, but since she was barely 2yo then, I easily shared it with her and was full by the end. Great deal!

When we left off Caitlin had finished riding ToT and RNRC and grandma and I had visited One Man's Dream.

When we met up it was only 9:30! We met up at the TSM fp machine and got our 4th set of TSM fast passes! (remember we have the GAD fp)

We entered the FP line, using the first of our GAD Fp, with grandma on her scooter since she had a hard time finding a place to park it. The mobility challenged line here takes awhile so it took us about 15 minutes to board. We passed the time by taking some pics...

Finally it was our turn! Now if you have read our ptrs or past TR you know we are Toy Story Mania Maniacs! We love this ride and Caitlin, Dale and I are very competitive so we take our game seriously We let grandma ride alone and Caitlin and I sat side by side and it was GAME ON! After each round we'd compare scores and it was too close to call the entire way! We went into the final round neck and neck and.....

Caitlin won. Darn! But as a true competitor I pointed out we would be riding this again so I had the chance to get her!

When we were done at TSM we decided to head over to Grauman's Chinese Theater to see some classic cinema.

Caitlin walked ahead of us (grandma had a hard time getting the ecv through all the people in Pixar Place) and when we caught up to her I found her talking to the cutest CM EVER! He was absolutely adorable! He was tall and blond and looked like he should be in the movies not working the movie ride! I guess he had stopped her and congratulated her on making the Dean's List with a 4.0. (remember it was on her celebration pin) They looked so cute I actually thought I should take a pic for our TR Anyway they finished talking and we took a few minutes to look at the handprints.

Who is the icon? Well the wearer of the original little black dress. Miss Audrey Hepburn of course! As she was on the ground the CM came back over to us. He said he had a great story about Audrey and asked if we'd like to hear it. We of course said "yes" in unison He told us that when she had her hand print ceremony she began crying. She was asked what was wrong and responded that she was so moved to be given the honor because the "real" Grauman's had never asked her for her prints and she had always wanted to do it. Apparently after this leaked out to the press the real Grauman's asked her to do it there and she said "no" that her hand prints are where they belong. Isn't that a great story? I'm not sure if it's truth or legend but it's pretty cool anyway.

When we finished talking to the cute CM we headed inside. There was actually a line! We were suprised there was a wait but we made it to the front in about 15. We then requested the "cowboy"version. We were told it would be "a few minutes" It was another 15 but we just sat and watched the movie. While we were waiting one of those special Disney tour guides walked to the front with a family and the dad looked like a football player. Since we don't follow sports a whole lot we don't know who he was but he looked like SOMEBODY

Finally we were called for our journey into the pictures. We ran into a lot of movie stars on our ride!

Then there was a gunfight and this cowboy hijacked our tram!

We even saw an ALIEN!

Thankfully Ripley was there and we made it through safely! Next thing we knew we were somewhere over the rainbow, following a yellow brick road...

All too soon our journey was over and we were back in 2010. But as we walked down the street we met another movie star. We saw the legendary Stone Granite!

(ok maybe he's only a legend in his own mind but he thought he was great )

He graciously agreed to take a pic with Caitlin and even gave her advice for dealing with the papparazzi. His words of wisdom were "never look at the camera". What do you think? Did she follow his direction?

After our "celebrity" sighting we realized we were all hungry and it was going on noon. We all agreed it was time for lunch! Our lunch pick was not in the park so we hightailed it out of DHS and headed for......well let's save that for another time.

Oh goody goody gumdrops, I'm caught up.
And yes, The Disney Store at Great Lakes Crossing is awesome! It's a Disney OUTLET! Yes everything is on sale!! Don't forget there's a Rainforest Cafe there too! We love that mall. It's in a circle and so much fun. We're probably there every three weeks or so. Enjoy!

GMR is dated, but I still really enjoy the attraction. It's almost so dated, it's now old school hip again.

I really enjoyed it!

The whole scene was very different! The cowboy runs out of the bank and is being shot at by different cowboy audioanimatronics and then the bank blows up! I mean that is a quick run down of it but I enjoyed it! The only thing that disappointed me is that at the end when the cowboy touched the gem stone in the Indiana Jones part when the the stone turned around the skeleton was wearing the gangster clothes. Kind of ruined it but I still liked the cowboy part better I would pick an explosion over a light being shot out any day!

Yeah I sort of want to look into it once I am not so busy with homework I will have to do some research!

I love GMR! I love all of the old movies and ever since I took a movie appreciaion class that ride has made more sense to me! I know a lot of people would prefer to have it updated with new rides but I see it as more of a movie museum ride

We had only seen the gangster and I read on the Dis about a cowboy version so Dale and I requested that on our Sept trip. Since Caitlin had never seen it we did it again this trip. There isn't a huge difference but it's fun to try something new.
