The financially irresponsible WDW trip! [June 25th: p.45, posts 668 & 669]

Thank you Deb for writing!!! No need to apologize on the slooooowww TR chapters, happen to know the some of the best writers are taking months to get through three days of a trip that was over a year ago.:rotfl:

Life happens.......or my new favorite quote "Life is short ( picture of tennis racquet) Do your thing."

Course my thing is a Disney trip.......

I found your report today and it has taken me most of the day to read it(between working) I have laughed and nearly cried. I know how you feel it is so lovely there and so far away. Your children are lovely and have grown vastly from one year to the next.
Looking forwar to the next installment when ever it is.

Glad to know things are ok Deb.
Sounds like you are super busy..............
I hope you get around to finishing this sometime because it is such a great story.......
P.S. I'm about to go to MNSSHP in 8 days!!!!!!!!!!!! And on a Disney Cruise.....check out my pre-trippie if you have a moment.

Love ya Deb.

Well it's good to know that you are doing ok and that the kids are getting on ok as well. I do miss you though, I am looking forward to the day you come back and get another chapter out there.

:tiptoe: So sorry everyone. I really wish I had been more efficient with this TR. Thanks so much for the messages. It's kinda weird but the past couple of months have been insanely busy and stressful. My eldest boy started secondary school (and is getting on really well which is an enormous relief as I was worried sick about it - such a big change!). 'Alice' started pre-school (she loves it - never stops talking in there - her teacher regularly has to slowly back away to try to give some attention to the other kids :lmao:). So these days it's 3 kids in 3 different schools in 3 totally different parts of the city. But it's working out - it's just that there doesn't seem to be time for anything else.

I noticed the free dining offer for autumn 08 for UK/European residents - how tempting is that? I would jump on it but the flights are so expensive, I have to be sensible. :headache:

I won't say, I'll get another chapter up soon cause I said that before and clearly it was a total fabrication. But really I'll get another chapter up soon.... um, yeah.... honestly!

Thanks for sticking with me and, again, sorry about the ridiculous length of time this is taking.

Don't ya just hate it when life gets in the way of a good TR?! :sad2: Take your time, Deb! We'll all be here waiting for you. :grouphug: Just know that you are missed...

Happy Holidays!!! :santa:
Take care,
Michelle (aka mlill - I changed my screen name! :cool2: )

i wish she'd finish the story. it was so much fun to read.

Deb.........
Are you still out there?????????????
I hope you are ok & that the holidays have just made you super, super busy.

oh me too! I was reading your TR the last time I was getting ready for a trip to WDW! going again in 5 months--please come back before then!!!:wizard:

Subbing, and then off to read the approx 80 pages it comes to when you copy and paste it into Word (and that's without the photo's!!) making it better for reading at work ;)

Keep up the great work Deb!

It looks like this thing just won't die. :badpc: :lmao: I suppose I better finish it so. ;) Things have been crazy lately with Grumpy (is that the nick I gave him?) working mad hours and me doing my usual ducking and diving due to lack of childcare (nice way to run a business eh?).

Great news. Not amazing, just great. Amazing would be that we're going back to WDW but sadly no, not anytime soon. :( But we are going to Disneyland Paris :woohoo: NEXT MONTH!! For 6 days. :worship: It was a surprise I organised for DH and the kids and told them on Christmas morning. So we're going to probably spend 3 days doing the parks - there's the Disneyland Park which is practically the same as Magic Kingdom and then the much newer Walt Disney Studios Park next door - all within walking distance of each other and Disney Village!!. Then we'll use 2 days or so to see all the wonderful sights of Paris and then a day to shop and swim etc. I can't wait!! I'll take lots of photos (no TR of course unless you're willing to stick around 'til 2012 to hear it all. :lmao: ) So it's not Florida :guilty: but it's still Disney. :thumbsup2 And of course it's beautiful Paris :cloud9:

One of these days I will finish this whole TR and post it all at once or something like that cause honestly, it's getting embarrassing at this stage. ["GETTING???" I hear your say] :)

It's so good to hear from you! Disneyland Paris? Yeah!! Hope you have a magical time!
I'll be reading no matter how long you take!! :flower3:

Hi Deb, yep we just won't let you be forgotten  :rotfl:

That's great about DLRP I hope you get some nice weather :)

Good to see you again :goodvibes

Deb:

So glad to hear from you!!! And so excited to hear Disney is in your not so distant future. While it may not be WDW, it still is DISNEY and PARIS!! I'm sure you will have a marvelous time. I bet your family is super excited...and they should be. I just planned a "last minute/value season/good airfare have to grab it" trip that morphed from a long weekend into 7 days(thank you honey!) And yet, I keep thinking how it won't compare to our last 16 day WDW extravaganza. Shame on me!!! :guilty:

Don't worry about finishing your TR, we will still be here when you get back:surfweb:

Happy travels!!!:cool1:
