The financially irresponsible WDW trip! [June 25th: p.45, posts 668 & 669]

My kids are back in school and I thought I'd stop by and see how it all turned out.

Ok, I didn't really believe it when I said it (months ago), but are you really trying to make this trip report last until your next trip?!?!?!

Not that we want you to skimp on quality, but......how did the rest of the trip go? What happened with your passport? Etc, etc., etc.

Hi Deb,
I am still being so patient, I am quite proud of how patient I am being while waiting for the rest of your TR. I might have rolled my eyes once or twice when finding out that there is still no new update, but really that's it, oh and I might have kicked the computer a few times, but really no major break downs. Honestly I don't know know how much longer I can hold off. No pressure...for the moment.

So glad to see you're back Deb!!! Love the France pics and Alice is getting so big. I love the suitcase picture. Is that your trailer you brought on your trip?

NNNNOOOO!

I just started your trip report today and thought that with 50 posts it would be done. I hated getting to page 50 and seeing no end. You write really well. I do not read very many trip reports but yours really grabbed me and I have spent hours reading this. You had me laughing out loud and when I tried to read those parts to my hubby he just looked at me strangely. We both thought your daughter was just gorgeous. Love that pic your son took with her eyes so blue. I have been thinking about going to the Lady and the Tramp restaurant in MK next time we go and I think after your report I probably will.

please finish!!! loving it

I have loved reading your trip report. Your children are so darling. I can't wait to read the rest.

Hi Deb! Thanks for sharing your vacation photos. Thanks to you I can now say I've seen the inside of the Boardwalk Villas and parts of France (other than the Disney version - although a few photos looked like the streets in World Showcase). :rotfl2:

Well after taking several months off to enjoy the summer I'm back on the boards and still waiting for you to finish this puppy! :rotfl: I see I've got all kinds of catching up to do with DisneyJo and Disneylandmama's reports. I also want to check out Kevin Stringer's report. So I've got lots of good reading ahead of me.

So I will check back from time to time in hopes of finding an update from my all time favorite trip report writer!

Loved the photo of Alice with her suitcase and "through the looking glass".

Susie

Deb, we miss you. :sad1: Even if you don't have time or don't want to write about the trip right now, just let us know you are ok.

:tiptoe: So sorry everyone. I really wish I had been more efficient with this TR. Thanks so much for the messages. It's kinda weird but the past couple of months have been insanely busy and stressful. My eldest boy started secondary school (and is getting on really well which is an enormous relief as I was worried sick about it - such a big change!). 'Alice' started pre-school (she loves it - never stops talking in there - her teacher regularly has to slowly back away to try to give some attention to the other kids :lmao:). So these days it's 3 kids in 3 different schools in 3 totally different parts of the city. But it's working out - it's just that there doesn't seem to be time for anything else.

I noticed the free dining offer for autumn 08 for UK/European residents - how tempting is that? I would jump on it but the flights are so expensive, I have to be sensible. :headache:

I won't say, I'll get another chapter up soon cause I said that before and clearly it was a total fabrication. But really I'll get another chapter up soon.... um, yeah.... honestly!

Thanks for sticking with me and, again, sorry about the ridiculous length of time this is taking.

:cheer2: Yeah! Deb's back! I'm just so glad to hear everything is well with you and yours. I was getting a little (okay, a lot!) worried about you!

Look forward to hearing more!
You are well worth the wait. :woohoo:

Yeah you're back we've all been wondering about you.

BTW just so you know there's a DIS meet next August, around about the 20th, just in case the lure of free dining gets you like it got me :yay:
