OMGosh.........

I have started a small part time job, I'm going to miss watching some days live.....
Hopefully I will find it on court chatter you tube.
Thankfully, I only work a couple days a week.

** of course, if its even streamed**
Just go to the you tube on court chatter it will be there.
I guess call me crazy, give the puke bucket for wanting to watch Baez defend AH

Sentencing for OP going now..

: Masipa outlines the appeal process that the state won, replacing #OscarPistorius culpable homicide verdict with one of murder.

#OscarPistorius Masipa says this court now has to impose an appropriate sentence - she has to consider several factors.

#OscarPistorius Masipa I have to determine whether there are ‘substantial and compelling circumstances to deviate from min 15 years.

OscarPistorius Masipa says the State argued Oscar showed no remorse - she doesn't agree. OP apologised to the family.

Ugh and while I wish he got 16 years ... appears he can be released in 2 years ... OMG. #smh
I know, you could see the judge and how embarrassed she was to come back and have to redo it. She made comments on how she disagreed with the higher courts. She read everything, said she would wait in chambers to see if they wish to appeal. And walked out. So she gave him the lightest sentence possible. How was your fourth? And how are you?

FYI, if you're interested, the kindle version of the book "Exposed", by Jane Valez Mitchell, is $1.99 on Amazon. It was in yesterday's BookBub email, so I'm not sure if you can go straight to Amazon or if you need to go through BookBub. Not sure how that works.

Hope all is well with everyone! :grouphug:

thanks!
Not sure if you guys had watched the first season, but Netfix has announced a second season of "Making A Murderer", date yet to be announced. It supposedly exposes how Steven Avery was framed.

I downloaded that way back, read a few chapters and then realized I was reading it while hearing Jane's voice. Needless to say, I didn't finish it.

We're in the triple digits here so I'm staying in and admiring the gorgeous colors on the TV. For those who don't know, I'm post op cataract removal surgery and wow, what a difference!! :hyper:

Hope all up your way is doing well.

thanks!

I watched the first episode of the documentary, but I don't have the attention span to watch the rest. It didn't grab me, so to speak. I do know that people who have watched it are outraged by his and especially his nephew's treatment, alleged planting of evidence, etc. I have seen a couple of shows from the other side, talking about the one-sidedness of the documentary. Ultimately, I just don't want to commit that much time watching a potentially skewed version of events. When I watch an actual trial, each side is skewed, but it's theoretically all there.

Haha! I remember you saying that about reading it in her voice.

It must be amazing to clearly see the colors on TV! And how nice that you have the triple digit weather  excuse to sit and watch. Just how orange is "that" face? ;)

Hearing is up with AH and his new dream team. Court chatter. Baez.
Odin's family wants to know how he is paying for these atty.'s . I would love to know since he had to sell everything to pay his other ones.
