The Fantasy's First MNSSH Cruise: Zombies of the Caribbean October 27, 2012

I have so much to do make my fish extender, make my fish extender gifts, make our costumes , plan our excursions.... the last 140 days will fly by.

Only 72 more DIS group lanyards left. Sign up to buy yours now. We have to put in an order for 100, but after that the next jump will be ordering 250 of them. So.... those interested make sure you sign up for your custom group lanyard now or there may not be enough.

Actually gilsan - can you put me down for 5 lanyards instead of 4. Knowing my family one will get lost or broken & someone will end up crying (probably me:)). I would like to have an extra one around as I plan to make full use out of the ones that I order. For $2-$3 each I would really like to have an extra. You can't buy anything that cute on the ship for $3. We like to hang our lanyards on our wall with pins as souvenirs & these are just perfect because they even state the date of the cruise on them.

So... Make that only 71 lanyards left now.

No problem, I think we will have extras. I surprised we haven't had more people join our thread. There will probably be a big rush at the end.:rotfl:

I've been productive this week....got the rest of my FE stuff ordered. Finished another step for the second gift....glad I didn't wait til the last second to start on those!

I also printed out the graphic that Gilsan created and got it laminated.

Is it time to go yet?!?!?!:rolleyes1

Make that 60! I don't think I ever said that I'd need some. 11 for our party please with 1 spare. :) ( Good idea!):worship:

I actually thought of a new question for ya'll.....is anyone planning on running the 5K at CC? I am not normally a runner, but I am currently training to run my first 1/2 marathon in DL in September and figure that's close enough to this cruise that I should check that off my bucket list as well. Trying to talk the family into running with me since I've read on a lot of other threads that people walk it as well. It's reallly hot and humid but only takes half an hour to an hour and they give you water. They also give you a completion certificate and a medal!

If my family won't run with me, I was hoping to find someone else to go with. If no one is up to it, I'll be sure to have my iPod for entertainment:music:

I am! My husband probably will... but only if my mom, who is also cruising (MooreDisneyPlease) watches the baby. Though we were talking the other day about our whole group running it- so we shall see. But I will absolutely be running it, I want that prize! :cheer2:

I was going to post the same question - my husband and I are going to run it as well. Well, I'll probably walk a good portion, but we'll definitely be there!

Put me down for 4 lanyards.

Also the Disney movie Wreck it Ralph will be coming out 11-2-12. I wonder if we will get to preview it on the ship during our cruise. Does anyone know if Disney normally does this?

I saw the trailer for it yesterday. I hope it "premears" on the ship. I think new movies play at midnight on the day they are released so 12:01 Nov 2 and then I would think it might play a couple times that day. I hope!

Stay up late for the movie then sleep on the beach at Castaway Cay?

That is one choice another would be nap on November 1, and a little on Castaway Cay:rotfl: I hope they show it a couple of times in the evening/late afternoon on November 2. It looks cute. I am also hoping to see Frankenweenie while on board.

We watched Beauty and the Beast on the Dream and were really impressed with the theatre. One of the best screen I have ever seen for image quality.

There is too much to do.

We saw Tron: Legacy in 3D on the ship, and I was impressed with the quality of the theater as well. Would LOVE if they're showing Frankenweenie when we're on board!

We watched Tron on board the Disney Wonder in 2010. We were unimpressed by the sound system as the speakers rattled when there was any base in the movie. We still had a great time & will remember that experience forever. After all, how many times do you get to watch a movie on board a cruise ship?

I seem to be the opposite of everyone else here. I have no desire to see Frankenweenie. It looks kinda sad; we've lost some pets these last few months & we have one really old dog that we are going to have to put down any day now. We know that our pets won't ever come back & I think that this movie might make my little guys really, really sad over all of our lost animals. I know that Tim Burton films are always great, but this is one that we won't be seeing. We count on Disney to make us happy & movies are our getaway from life. We prefer to watch things that leave us with happy thoughts & smiles.

Hey on the bright side, 4 less people crowded in the theaters with all of you Frankenweenie fans. ;)

I know I showed Georgia the original frankenweenie short film and had forgotten how it ended. I felt bad about showing it to her with out any warning.

I understand about the pets we have a 14 year old pug who has many bad days lately. I keep thinking that we may need to take him to vet and then the next day he has rallied and back to his old self. I am hoping that he will slip away while he is sleeping. Our other pug went that way and it was very sad because it was so sudden, but I think it was preferable to this. It is a decision I don't want to make.

On a happier note the theatre on the Dream was state of the art and I recommend going to see a movie while on board. I am hoping that Brave and or the Avengers is also playing.

Yeah, we saw Tron on the Dream and it was fantastic - don't remember any rattling at all.

I sympathize over the pets and get why you'd want to avoid Frankenweenie. We have four cats; two of them are older and starting to show their age.
