I am glad so many are interested the lanyards. I am hoping we can get 100 because it will lower the cost as many of the places have a 100 minimum.

I think we have around 75 in all the cabins on this thread right now so hopefully we will have a few more join us. Even if we get less I still think we can keep it to under $5 per lanyard.

Would we do the basic blurb on the lanyard (cruise name and dates + ship), or could we do something clever like a play on the zombies in the carribean- maybe a movie quote or something? I'd love to give an example but my creative bone goes to sleep before the rest of me...

I just loved those lanyards on that Magic Halloween Cruise. The bright orange with the white text made it really easy to see who what part of the DIS group. This may make the scavenger hunt/trivia easier because you would know by the lanyards who is part of the group or an outsider. I can't wait to see what they look like!

So... count us in for 4 lanyards. You can put me down for a back up person in the U.S. to ship the lanyards to if needed. We will be flying but I am going to ship a package on to WDW before we get there with the FE gifts in it.

I have sooooooo many ideas for the FE gifts. I just can't decide what to do. This is a great group. I am so excited!

I thought orange would be perfect for our halloween cruise and will differentiate us from "the others"

I know about the FE I had 5 or 6 different ideas, but I have settled on one. All this extra planning is helping to make the trip not feel so far away.

I just saw on mousesavers that the WDW ticket prices go up on June 3. In case anyone needs to buy for pre or post cruise. The increase isn't a lot but it could buy a few more drinks of the day

My best friend has let me borrow her sewing machine to make my FE. Wish me luck! I haven't sewn since I made a pillow in middle school! Lol!!!

Hi Gilsan, when i mentioned the lanyards a few pages back i found a great website which sent some proofs, they worked out at 1.42 each but i accidently hit 500 not 100 so that will go upa bit! But that included a velcro breakaway, clip and space for the KTTW card. also i thought a dark violet with gold writing might look better colour wise, anyway here is the picture.

I do like the purple color, but I think that the orange would stand out better in a crowd of people & be a big contrast to everyone's clothing. So I guess my final vote would be for orange. Also what would a purple font look like on the orange? Maybe a font that is a little more like a script?

Perhaps I am just trying to copy the lanyards from the other trip report too much. In case anyone else has not seen them, here is the link:

Actually StaceyL0u put those together. I also vote for the orange one I think it stands out a bit more and is Halloweeny. I also like the font on the orange and yellow one. I will say the purple one is much easier to read.

oh sorry, Thanks to StaceyLOu for putting together those proofs of the lanyards!!! They look fabulous. I got a vote from my DH & he voted on the orange as well as my boys because they didn't want to wear "purple". Silly men/boys. I do agree that the purple one is easier to read because of the contrast in font color. Do you think that the orange would be easier to read if it had purple or black font on it? I'm just putting in my .02 cents worth again, but I will be happy with whatever. I know that it is extra work for those who put together these lanyards so I think their opinion should carry extra weight.

I also think that a darker colour for the font would look good and orange and black or orange and purple is more halloweeny.
