The Fabby LapuLapuettes Part IV: My Pineapple Needs a Refill!

Trixie---So happy that you loved the Dole Whip Float!

Add to your tip about MK on Saturdays that you might want to stay away from Fantasyland after about 1pm on any day. Hit it first thing in the morning and then get out of Dodge!

I think for meet and greets in ToonTown they will close the line at a point so anyone that is in line will meet the characters....no matter what time it is.

Ahhhh! I miss all the Indy stuff from last year.

All you have to do is just pop in the DVD and get your fix. ;)

OMG!!!! I can't believe I didn't think to tell you this earlier.

Okay, a little background. I have been doing very, very well on our budget this year. As in we're attempting to bank my salary, and just use DH's. So far, so good. This entails that each month I tell myself, nothing extra.

Nothing. No impulse buys. My goodness, what that will do for a budget!

That being said, I was in Target one day last month and they had some serious toy clearance going on. I thought, well let me just look. We all know how that turns out, right?

So I found two great gifts for my nieces for next Christmas, just under $5 a piece. A little snowman plush with a snowman board book, perfect for the respective ages.

And then I saw them!

INDY MR. POTATO HEAD!!!!!

Holy cabooses!

I may have done a little of this    and this :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: and this :yay: :yay: :yay: , but I kept it all inside. ;)

Hon, I think I bought three or four of them for the grand price of $3.84 a piece!!!! I was so excited. So DS will be getting one in his Easter basket this year, and the others I'm saving for gifts, as I'm sure at some point we'll encounter the world of birthday parties and such.

OMG! So exciting. Did you know that when you press down the hat, it plays the theme song????

I so thought of you. :goodvibes

Sorry for the delay in my PTR---it is in the works! I have delayed it just a bit because Tom and I keep toying with the idea of trying to switch our dates around to encompass Megan's birthday---trying to make it work out!!! BUT, once we get that glitch figured out, it will be up and running!

Don't worry, hon. You're only heightening our anticipation.

It'll be all the sweeter when you start your report. :thumbsup2

And Trixie! Man, do you take some fantastic photos!!!! I totally see where you're coming from, I have days like that in the the Magic Kingdom. I was shocked to have one of those on a Monday, though, but I guess maybe some people were taking a long weekend? Either that or I underestimated the popularity of December. Anyway, I get you. But it looks like you made some great memories. Thanks for continuing to post about the trip, I really enjoy reading about it.

TK, that's so funny about the Indy Potato Heads -- I can just imagine that theme song playing when you push the hat! :rotfl:

It was awesome. DH and I are hoping to get a chance to watch The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull this weekend. It can be hard to fit in movie watching around DS' nap / sleep schedule.

Good Morning from Snowy New Hampshire!

I took these pictures from my front door a few minutes ago.

Whoa! That is a little bit of snow, huh?

How many inches did you guys get?

We if you can believe it, I ordered birthday party supplies (Handy Manny theme!) today for Liam's 2nd birthday.....which is May 10th. But I'm due May 3rd with the new baby so I want to get everything done ahead of time (or it won't get done!). I'm planning on having his party June 13th.... a month late but Liam won't know and the baby should be at least 3 weeks old by then.

We have so much to get done in the next 2 months.
-Finish getting the house ready to re-finance
- move our bedroom downstairs into the new room that John has constructed
- re-do our "old" bedroom into Liam's room
- shop for new furniture and bed for Liam
- shop for baby supplies (thankfully the list is small compared to last time!)
- get all the baby clothes washed, organized and put away in the nursery once Liam moves out
-spring/summer clothes shopping for Liam (not looking forward to that one because of cost and I don't know what size I should be getting....24 months or 2T)

Not to mention that my doctor's appointments are every 2 weeks now and I'll need to put in more time at my part-time job (I won't mind the extra $$$ thou!)

John and I are actually looking forward to next winter when we won't have so much going on.

Heidi---sounds like you are going to be busy!!! Don't forget to take yourself in the meantime too!!!! :o) That is always the hardest part, isn't it??? How is the construction coming? Are you guys almost done? I am sure you will be so glad when that is finally done!!! I don't know why, but your baby ticker caught my eye today---Megan was delivered on her 30 week 1 day mark---made me smile!!! I hope your baby is doing well!!!

Hey to the rest of the gang too!!! I hope all is well in everyone's neck of the woods!!!

Wow, 6-8 inches. I'll be surprised if what we got qualifies as a dusting. Looking at those pictures makes me feel fortunate, but at least you haven't had to go out in it yet, that's a plus.

And my goodness, Heidi, you are one busy little bee! Please make sure to put those poor tired feet up every now and then, okay? Give you and baby girl some well deserved rest. :goodvibes

The addition contruction is on hold for the winter....not to mention that we need to re-finance the mortgage in order to pay for anymore materials. Our new temp bedroom is in the old part of our basement....it's actually coming out pretty nice for a basement bedroom on the super cheap.

I think Liam was born at 39 weeks 1 day....something like that. Every week that we stay healthy on the road to 40 weeks with this baby really helps the stress level.

Oh, I rest, I may not sleep well but I rest a lot. I can manage to do a lot seating on my butt! Today it was phone calls and internet shopping.

Nothing wrong with that, my dear. Nothing wrong with that at all! :goodvibes

Hey Lapuettes. Glad to hear everyone is doing well! :goodvibes

I haven't been feeling well still and have been going back and forth with doctors for weeks now. I finally broke down and went to the ER last night I felt so awful. A call from the ER doc miraculously got me in to see my ob/gyn today when they have been telling me along the earliest they could see me was March 12th and that was in the end of January. So hopefully what they gave me will make me start feeling better. :thumbsup2

Heidi, I can't believe how quickly your pregnancy seems to be going, I am sure it doesn't feel that way for you though.

I didn't realize you were doing so badly. I hope everything is okay.

Still dealing with the same stuff as before, five week periods are NOT my friend. :sad2: I'm hopeful though, the doctor today seemed to listen to me and not make me feel like I was crazy.

They don't have you on a treatment plan yet? :confused3

Hon, I'm worried. Do they have a plan that you're comfortable with?

Hon, I'm worried. Do they have a plan that you're comfortable with?

They put me on Progesterone. I have delayed going to the fertility clinic for now. I am trying to lose some weight before I go that route. They think if I was to lose some weight I would start ovulating on my own. I have a goal to lose 50lbs and then go to the fertility clinic which I discussed with the doctor today. He said I have plenty of time and that the healthier I am, the easier it will be. So the progesterone is supposed to get my cycle back on track without going back on the pill. So I am comfortable with all of this, I am just tired and drained.

Oh, of course you're drained hon. Not only is your body probably nutrient deficient due to the long periods, but it's just emotionally exhausting as well. I just want you to know that I have some big  for you, okay?

I'm glad that they've got you on something that should help to regulate you. It's a start, at least, I hope it works fast, for your sake.

Yes, so very drained. I am hopeful though. Thanks for your hugs. :goodvibes
