Good how is your morning going? Is this the week you have a 4 day weekend? How is your weather? We are having an unseasonably warm day in the 60's but by Friday we are back to normal weather with snow!!! I can't wait until it warms up for good.

It is, it is!! I am so excited. I have Monday & Tuesday off. And we are going to see Disney on Ice on Saturday for Valentine's Day. I am pretty excited. PLUS I just saved myself $56 with my flight in May, granted it's a credit but still. I like to save money.

It's pretty warm here too but the last few days have been warmer. I love to see the snow melt.

It is, it is!! I am so excited. I have Monday & Tuesday off. And we are going to see Disney on Ice on Saturday for Valentine's Day. I am pretty excited. PLUS I just saved myself $56 with my flight in May, granted it's a credit but still. I like to save money.

It's pretty warm here too but the last few days have been warmer. I love to see the snow melt.

Okay I'm going to start a TR today, if it KILLS ME! I finally got all our pictures uploaded but I'm trying to separate them by date- 10 days and 31,00 pics is a lot to sort through! But I should be able to at least get a thread started.

Hey gang!!! Happy Wednesday!!! We are bracing for a MAJOR thunderstorm system today---seriously bad weather and high winds.......hoping no power outages, but I think that is a naive hope!!! Once that is finished, we are supposed to get cold again and get some more snow over the weekend!!! FUN CINCY WEATHER FOR YOU!!!!!

We are ratcheting up for a fun week ahead though----Megan has her big Valentine's Day party at school on Friday---we get to make the covered shoebox this year!! ;o) ---then we have the Children's Carnival at school on Saturday afternoon, and then our annual adults-only Fondue Date Night for Valentine's night at our good friends' house. Good times!!!! Friday is also the "anniversary" of my first date with Tom---we will be together for 16 years....finally reaching the point where we have been together for half our lives!!!! Crazy, huh? So love is in the air all-around our household!!!! Tom should also find out either Thursday night or Friday morning about his bonuses......so you know what that means ladies!!!!!

I have been playing with ADRs in my head already....I know, I need help! I am actually thinking about trying CRT this year----would LOVE as much help/advice/commentary about when to eat there, how to get the coveted ressie, etc. GIVE ME SOME HELP GIRLIES!!!!!

Jen, hope the storms weren't too bad -- you know me -- I have been tracking that storm system since Oklahoma yesterday -- thank goodness for the internet! When it came through here it wasn't near as bad as they had predicted thank goodness!

Hey gang---awful quiet around here today.....but I know we are all nursing sick ones and the like!!! I hope when our Lapuette band does find time to make it on board here, that everyone will be healthy and having a lovely Valentine's weekend!!!

I just wanted to give everyone some scoop on our last 24 hours of FUN!!!!!

Jackie, as you may have guessed, our wind storm had quite a bite to it---luckily no tornadoes or bad thunderstorms, but 60+mph winds caused a transformer near our street to blow last night (sounded like a loud explosion) which put us without power until 7am this morning. To add even more fun to the rather "blustery day," Megan developed a TERRIBLE headache at lunch after preschool yesterday, so bad that she barely ate the rest of the day and turned in to bed REALLY early last night. As you might have guessed, she woke up this morning with a low-grade fever and a sore throat. A trip to the doctor confirmed what I had already been thinking: Megan has her first case of strep throat!!!! It stinks that the poor baby is feeling so badly with the infection, but the amazing part of this whole ordeal is that considering she started out as a 2lb preemie from the NICU, this is the FIRST major illness she has had, and the first time she has ever had to take antibiotics besides her days on IV antibiotics at the NICU. I think running that long of a streak for the past 5+years is something special!!! She is my wondergirl!!!

Well, we found out about Tom's bonuses, and let me just say THEY ARE..................................................................








GREAT!!!!! About two times what we thought they would be!!!! SO while we were playing cards in the candlelight last night, we did some chatting about the trip, and have made a decision about where to stay....................................








BUT you are going to have to wait for the PTR to find out where that is!!!!! AND I think some of you MAY be surprised!!!!! NOW, how's THAT for a cliffhanger!!!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!! John and I were going to go out to dinner on Saturday but then I came up with the brillant idea of going out for brunch on Sunday instead. I usually don't feel good at night if I have a big dinner so I thought brunch would be prefect. MIL is coming up to babysit Liam so we don't have to rush thru the meal. We're going to the same Inn that we had our 'day after our wedding' breakfast at. It's right on the lake so hopefully we'll get window seats so we can enjoy the view.

What do you all have planned?

I think we are just going to stay close to home tomorrow -- I think I will make a lasagna and red velvet cupcakes, and then we might all pile on the couch and watch a sweet love story -- maybe Enchanted? I just hate fighting any kind of crowds to go out to eat.
