I can't stop laughing about it. I really think we should make students stay home tomorrow since it will be so cold and so many have to stand outside waiting on the bus. We wouldn't want our nurse to have to deal with cases of frostbite.
They figure in Minnesota if you are foolish enough to go out with exposed skin then you deserve what you get.Keep your fingers crossed that they decide to do that here -- I really don't think they will cancel it though.
I just looked at the wind chill alerts in Minnesota. They warn of 40 below zero, but no mention of making sure to cover all exposed skin. Hmmmppfff.

I have read those books -- I think I have read most of them except the latest one, "The Wheel of Darkness." I devoured them a couple of summers back poolside -- my favorite one was Relic -- nothing like a supernatural beasty stalking the halls of the Museum of Natural History.
Thunderhead is a stand-alone by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, and I really liked that one, too -- it's set out in the American Southwest.

It was so cold this morning that my I thought my nostrils were going to stick together. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
On a happy note, I had to stop at a convenience store to pick up something for my lunch and the cashier noticed my new haircut. I haven't been in that store for two months! I can't believe she noticed. It made me feel special.
I hate copiers. I have to battle with ours at work all the time.
My feet are still frozen too. I should have made Marc start my car for me this morning but I didn't think of it until I was waiting for it to warm up.
That just doesn't seem right that you have 17 degree weather, at least I live in New England. We expect this kind of carppy weather.

It's not right at all -- I would be really disgruntled, but I am too cold to be able to work up much feeling of any sort -- maybe I have hypothermia and should go home to sit my the fire and cuddle with Nala???
Which let me just say that Nala even thought it was too cold this morning. She did not want to go outside and just sat there and whimpered.
Also, I did research on boxers and discovered that they are originally from Germany -- Nala's new nickname when she is being a handful? Fraulein!
Fraulein! That is way too funny. Everyone at work is having a hard time getting their dogs to go out too. They don't like the cold!
I have just finished the last Sookie book. I love Quinn. I hope he sitcks around . I can't wait until May when the new one come out.
