Well I must say I'm getting really excited about my trip and panicking often LOL!!

I'm jealous of a few of you going in October...so going over my birthday 10/2. We had debated going then since I have an AP but cooler and more financially sound heads prevailed and I'm just doing the Dec. trip with my mom and a trip in 2010!!!

I'm not sure if they do extend a free dining promo to the general public if the dates will run as long. It seems in the past, the bounceback has been longer than the public dates. So I guess we'll have to wait until April to see. But dang, I would love to spend some time with you in the World. At Food and Wine Festival. NOM.

Hey gang--been busy around here lately---I can't WAIT until it is a day with NOTHING to do!!! I am missing you all terribly!!! I hate reading at midnight the day's chit chat!!! Tomorrow is no better, but I'm hoping by the end of the week that life slows down and things get back in order. I just had to pop on here and let you all know how I spent part of a Blockbuster gift card that I received this year for Christmas---renting all three POTC movies---I will be immersing myself in these flicks this week, can't wait!!!!!!

That's really awesome. A teacher can make or break a kid's school experience, really. My DS12 had a terrible teacher last year (so bad that we pulled him last January and home schooled the rest of the year! ). This year the one he has is fantastic and it's making all the difference.

Morning everyone!

I'm really hating being at work today. I want everyone to come back from their holiday vacations already! It's been busy, and there is no one here working. Really annoying!

Home is where your liquor-infused pineapple is.
I think I need to put that on a doormat.

I think this needs to be the new lapuette motto.

I also think that if I were to go solo, I'd opt for the new Quick-service Dining Plan (assuming they also offer that in the Free version). I have no problem eating alone at a counter-service place, but there's something about being solo at a sit-down place that seems a little odd. Dunno, maybe it's just me. Plus it included the refillable mug for those early morning coffee walks of mine!!

So, there it is. The new dream....

I'm going without a dining plan since my next trip since I'm doing a split stay, and already have 5 day passes. I'm waffling a bit about how I want to deal with food. I have to figure out if I'll be comfortable enough to eat solo.

It's tough. You never really know until you try a place. Case in point. CP loves her some Boma. As a matter of fact, I think her whole family loves Boma.

We had a bad meal there. So you just never know. I think if you like something after you check out the menu, try it. In all likelihood, you're going to have one bad meal on your trip. Inevitably, it happens. Whether it's the food, the service you never know.

So carpe diem! Eat where you want!

Now if I could only follow my own advice, maybe I'd be able to post a chapter about in my pre trip report.

However, I doubt myself.

Very true! It's hard to judge even on one visit sometimes. Last fall I went to Ohana and loved it. Couldn't stop raving about it to everyone. I went again this August and the experience isn't quite as magical. (The service was awful and it just seemed to effect the entire meal for me). I'll probably give it another try, but not on my solo trip. (Would be way too much food for just me).

I am pretty pretty pretty positive I am not going to go to Disney in October

I've got a bunch of medical stuff going on right now that I haven't talked about at all because I was sticking to the "ignore it and it's not there" philospohy that serves me so well in life but it's kind of coming to a "you can't ignore me anymore point" and with the uncertainty of things I just can't see putting the money down...

I know it's refundable - but I need to spend it else where so there it went!
