Cool beans about the clarinet!! I played flute for years, and then took up oboe for a few years too. Marched with the piccolo sometimes as well. I'm all for band; it's a great way to make great friendships!

Bummer you had to wait so long for buses to your resort. That stinks!

I'll bet that swim with your daughter was a nice getaway for you two. I love to get away one on one with my girls!

sounds like a great weekend!!!
the buses were awful for the ASSp also! for MK they have their own and it travels fairly frequently...for AK, EP, DHS you shared with all three AS resorts! thank goodness ASsp was first on the stop; although in the middle of the day sometimes only a handful of people would be picked up (the number that got off) it made you happy you were the first stop to get off and made you want to walk to the last resort to get on and the pickups at the parks were horrid the lines were soooooo long for the three resorts together!

I am planning a countdown calendar for next year and having lots of time to decide how to decorate it still do not know when we are going!!!

I played flute too. Do you still play? I only went up to freshman year with it. Emily loves it and Amy is liking the clarinet too . I agree with the friendships Emily has some great friends in band and the band moms are really nice and friendly too
I know in nov we didn't have an issue with the busses just one night with the boat going to the studios but that's because it was the 2nd night for the Obsorcne lights. This trip it was just the busses no problem with the boats. But some people were really pissed of and I can understand people were saying "I'm paying 350$ a night I shouldn't have to wait 45 minutes for a bus.'
Restaurantosaurus we were just in dinoland and were hot and hungry and then we had FPS to use in dinoland when we were done eating. The food was good though it's pretty much like picos. But if you can go to any counter service I would go with Flame Tree.
The swim was nice. I love one on one time. I'm having that with Amy in a little while. I took Emily out just me just me and her this morning.

I know I kept looking over to the all stars too and they were just as bad if not worse than us. Luckily we were the first stop off. After waiting that long everyone gets off at the 1st stop. I have an idea of how I want the countdown calendar to look. There's a couple A halloween one and then just pull of Mickey heads. Do you know about the home depot mickey head thing? One is going to be the 4 park symbols and then there will be a monorail I'll number and cut it and then tape it on and then each day take off a pice of the monorail. I also want one for each of the kids rooms but I bet they'll want to make it themselves
I hope you decide on a time soon. That way it will be so much more fun to help you plan

Hi everyone,
Sorry you have to wait so long in between updates. It must be killing you. I've been really busy lately. I was hoping to an update this past weekend but busy is the name. It was a great weekend. Saturday the kids went to a party and Mitch and I went to Sams club. Then at night we all went to Everglades mall. We went to the Rainforest for dessert and got a volcano. Then we went to a few stores we needed things from. Sports authority, rack room, etc. I also went to Berlington (SP) and got the kids a few pairs of really cute matching pajamas. I saved the best for last........
WE WENT TO THE DISNEY STORE!!!!! This is like the best not in disney disney store. It's called Disney's character warehouse. It has stuff from the parks and resorts and it's really cheap. We got the girls each a mickey head halloween bracelet. 5.95 at Disney. Our price 1.99 each. Also they had the themepark mug that has all the characters on rides 4.99 I got myself the mom one and my mother the grandma one because her birthday was a few days ago. They didn't have a daddy one.
O.K TR TIME!!!!!!
I'm going to hurry up with day 2, so it's going to be pretty picture less. I'll make up for it with day 3 don't worry. (about 30 flower n garden festival pics)
So we left sleeping Mitch and Emily and went down to the pool. The pool was empty. And it really made me feel like I was at an empty tropical island. I laid down with a magazine and just read and relaxed and Amy went in the pool. Also went down the water slide many many many times. She never had to wait in line once. Then the clouds came like an hour later and ruined all the fun. Right as Mitch and Emily came. So back we went to the gym to give back the towels and I see games on a table. I asked the CM what they are for and she said for guests to went. I asked how much and she said free so we rented disney monopoly. It's due with in 24 hours or else they bill 25$ to your room. We went up stairs and got showered and then I dropped the kids off at camp dolphin.
Mitch and I had date night
We went to Mulino or what ever its called in the Swam very yummy. At the kids camp if you eat at the swan or dolphin then 2 kids get to go for free. And they take you to Peekabos. We had a nice romantic night with yummy food.
Emily was telling me that like everyone there were there for days and had not gotten to a park yet and were not going to. How could some one do that? Your so close! I could never do that. The plan was to pick the kids up around 7 and then head to Magic Kingdom untill closing and watch Spectro. It was pouring so no could do. We weren't even going to dare leave the area. So we picked the kids up well Dh did. But we needed the reciept and I had that and I was at the boardwalk inn so he had to come back and get it. Not a problem we then walked around the boardwalk all of us but it was pouring so we then came back and went to the swan and dolphin shops. I didn't even dare take out my camera it was tucked in my bag the whole time. Sorry.
We went back and went to sleep.

Hello everyone,
How ya all doing? Well how does a walk through Epcot sound? Day 3:
We woke up with plans of catching RD at epcot so we did just that. We got to IG at like 20 till and I could see people across the lake in FW walking around.
Long story short I checked the hours a thousand times before we left even the day before and they still had Epcot AM EMH that morning that some how they slipped out with out me knowing
Well anyway we made the walk to FW Dh and Amy scurried and me and Emily just took our time. They ran ahead and got 9:45 FPS for Soarn' and then we were all supposed to go to Character Spot but Emily got the great idea "hey, Soarn' only has a 30 min wait let's go!"
I was out numbered so guess who won

I met them the seasons and everyone was hungry so we got a adult breakfast dish, a chocolate chip muffin, and a kid's french toast.

Emily noticed at the booth we were sitting at that there was a pin necklace. With a lot of nice pins. She did the right thing by giving it a CM cleaning the table.
Then the kids used the FPS twice since we had 4 and me and Dh saw the 3-d movie in there. Then we met up and DH and Amy HAD to and I mean had to go on TT. Right then right now. So me and Emily were supposed to go to Character Connection but the line was 45 minutes Instead we got Icecream I think to cool down because it was so so hot. We met up in mousegear and I saw Daisy was out so we all went to go see her.

So I told some people that we are probably going to Cancel our October trip

This way we would be there for Christmas Obsorne lights and MVMCP start the 10th and Emily's birthday is on the 15th.
When I chose our October dates I had a really tiny voice in my head saying why not Christmas? Over time the idea had grown a LOT.
I spoke to DH about and he said I'll see

The november dates would be better because for October DH would have to work a lot in the room. I haven't seen Disney for Halloween in about 5 years. I saw Disney at Christmas last year and I just NEED to see it again.
Dh said if this trip is going to happen and I want to stay on property he said we need to stay at Swan or Dolphin on points which is fine with me.
So a few minutes ago I went on the swan and dolphin and looked for nov. 10-16. I checked the Dolphin.

How could this be? Last year we booked thanksgiving 25 days in advance. Two years ago we could've gotten Dolphin new years a month and a half advanced but went with BC instead.
So why can't I get it now? Is there a holiday I should know about? Besides Emily's birthday
The swan still has 24 rooms. We should know in about 2 weeks the latest.
Maybe there is a convention at the dolphin then hopefully one where people will be alone and to busy to crowd up the parks. I already made an ADR before when I was online and had a minutes. My first priority is an ADR for Emily's birthday.
Chef Mickey's for bfast at a good time? No.
Sci Fi? Yea man, as Emily would put it.
So I am now the proud owner of an ADR for Sci fi at 7:05 pm on Emily's birthday
They had a CP at 10 am but the place closes at 10:30. I checked on allears because I learned my lesson last time. Tusker House anyone?
So I think I'll make a CP for E's bday at 1:00 and then we could decide when the plans finalize and cancel what ever we need to. I'm also going to make a Tusker house at like 9:30 the 16th to celebrate Tim's bday
Trex on the 12th no can do, but Festival of the masters is the 13-15 at DTD so the 13th we would do Epcot at RD and then come back for PM EMH. So while them 3 do what ever I could go to FotM.
I'll post the park hours in a minute.

We met up with Mitch and then we all went to mousegear. Right outside from the door (Just incase) They had a tink station set up for F & G and you could color it and then they gave you Tink flower seeds.

Then we went on Ellen.
After all of our trips this was our first time.

We liked Ellen. Especially the A.C.
When there was around 20 minutes left the ride broke. So we were stuck there for like 15 minutes (thank godness it was inside) wile they tried to fix the ride. Then they came around and opened everyone up and we were set out back into the hot, hot sun. By then it was 1:30 and we were hot. So we went for some lunch.
Our choice?

We got 2 chickens with mashed potatoes, some chinese thing, and a pice of mouse cake and shared.

Hi everyone,
How was everyone's weekend?
Mine was busy busy busy. Well I wasn't preparing to go to Disney like some of us cough, cough Tim but lets see the kids went to a friends house and me and Mitch went out for dinner on Friday. Saturday, we started the day of nice and early because Emily had travel softball practice at 9 am. Emily does travel and rec. Amy does Rec. They're finally in the same age group again so Emily is on Amy's rec team. It's Amy's first season of fast pitch. Let me tell you there is a big difference between slow pitch and fast pitch. For one the ball shrunk in half. Then at 12:30 we had rec. softball. IN THE AFRICA HEAT! It felt like July. Then at night we went to a dessert place with Dh. It had a 50s theme going on. Yummy Yummy food. Yesterday Mitch took Emily out. While I took Amy out we went to Michaels the Disney store, and Party City. We got some stuff for Amy's party, it is now October 11th. At michaels I got some shirts because I had a nice disigner design some things for the girls.

The disigner is really nice she has hundreds of disigns and you can ask her to make whatever you can think of. She's quick too.

I'm not sure which ones I like. The philhar magic would just be for night. I think I'm going to do the Epcot for sure. It'd be be great for character connection. Amy has a shirt to meet Tink in so I'm not sure when they'd be able to where the Mk shirts together. Maybe just Emily would. I'm also going to ask the designer to make a tree of life shirt for the 4 of us and then everyone could have their favorate character on it

Last night we had a disney night. Well. Poly night to be exact.
It was a gorgeous night.

Oh, and on she hurt he left hand at a softball game the other night. I took her to the doctor for x-rays. Nothing is broken or fractured thank goodness, but the doctor gave her split to wear until Thursday, so that it can properly heal.

I actually don't know which DISigns we will be doing, because the shirts are so thick and the girls will be sweating. So I'm thinking maybe sweatshirts for at night with a DISign. (Who am I kidding I'm not that talented.)

It was finally show time!

After playing around with the new camera I finally found a nice setting. Who knew it would be candle?
