Well it's official. My trip is officially booked. I went to Robert Q last Thursday and booked my Disney vacation for October. The cost of the trip was pretty good. For the three of us, Me, my DD (25)and my DGD 5, it costs 2700 US. That included the air fare (from Detroit)the resort (all star movies)five day hoppers for the theme parks and 7 days worth of dining. I gave them the initial down payment and can pay so much a month towards it. Will have it paid by the middle of August. So then all I have to do is worry about the spending money. So now the happy dance begins!!

Has anyone been there in October when the Halloween theme is on. I think I posted about this before when I was considering going in October. I know my grandaughter should bring a costume (she wants to be one of the Disney princesses)but what else if there to do. I won't have alot of extra money, so does anything go on at the theme parks during the days that we can take part in. I have never been in October before. I was going to go in September but my DD is terrified that a hurricaine will hit while we are there. The weather in October seems very good. And we won't have to worry about a snow storm cancelling our trip from this end.
Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hugs

Sounds like a lot of fun! Yes, the Hallowe'en party is awesome! The weather will be beautiful at that time of year. We were there the last 2 weeks of October this past year. Glad to see that everything is booked, and now you just have to pay for it. ;)

We will be there from October 22-29/06. Not that I want to summer to fly by, but it seems like such a long time away.

Hey Mary-Liz:
I'm sure my DGD will get a kick out of seeing everyone in costume. I have never been in october. So perhaps this will be my new favourite time of the year to go.

Sounds like your family will have a wonderful time. :cool1:
I've always wanted to go for Halloween. I haven't heard of anyone who didn't enjoy trick-or-treating at Magic Kingdom.

Have fun planning!

We love October - have been the past 3. Along with the MNSSHP (which is an extra ticket but worth it) there's also the Food & Wine Festival. If you have the dining you can use your snack credits for the samples at the Food & Wine Festival.

Weather is usually great and the crowds are manageable as well.

We will probably be there the same week as you are depending how long we stay after the cruise. We haven't booked anything yet though.
