In the REAL world, I've been at Heather's house, riding with friends through town, skating, at Heather's cousin's house which is beside her boyfriends house, and many other places!! Heather is trying to get me to go out with her cousin, Josh also.

In our pirate world, Will and I have been spending time together

To show how obsessed with Orlando Bloom, when we were on vacation, to wake me up in the morning, Heather would say "It's me, Oralndo!! Wake up Ashton!!" LoL!!!

Well, then, all hands be accounted fer, but Emily. Do hope she returns te us soon from where'er she be. Per'aps Jack has her occupied with some bit o' plunderin' or rum drinkin' or such. Surely, she'll be reportin' te us all her journeys soon as she be able.

I must steady meself fer a slow week here with naught but a skeleton crew ( ) te be postin'. Must put together them pirate facts fer ye - that should be the best way o' passin' the time, says I.

Whilst you are digging for yer facts, if you happen to come across some info on the P branded by the East India Trading Company, I would be most interested. I read somewhere that they actually branded a small P on the forehead. Why did they even brand pirates, I thought they were all hung. I hope you are inclined to acquiesce to my request - means yes.

I posted this same info. on JDZone, so if any of you go there, you may see it too!

I'm noticing that POTC is still playing in first runs today, (exactly 3 months since it's release) but as of Friday, it moves to 2nd run theaters. I'm refering to our local theater here, and also, where my parents are, since we will be there on Sat, and they have a 2nd run theater (YEAHHH!!! - It's the only way I'll get DH to pay any more $ for it!) Just wondering if others are seeing this trend happening in your town or has it moved prior to now?

By the way, I'm not an official member of this thread, but I thought it was more appropriate to put it here than the JDFan thread!

Susie Jane - I must admit I have not come across much information on the East India Co. in me readin' as yet. Most o' what I have read concerns ships o' the African Trading Co. Howe'er, that pirate brand be a good matter o' interest and I shall look about fer information and let ye know what I find.

natt - Yer always welcome here, matey, even if ye be not an "official" member. POTC still be playin' in 1st run theatres here, but I be waitin' fer it te hit 2nd run. Thar be a new $1 theatre not far from me and I have already declared me intention te sit thro a whole day o' POTC when it arrives thar!!

I can't decide which is better, racing dirt bikes (Josh), or being a pirate (Will, DUH!! )......LoL!!! I really do like Josh though!!! You see, his best friend (Devin) goes out with my best friend (Heather). Josh is Heather's cousin. So that worked out pretty good, huh, LoL!!!

i read somewhere that johnny and kiera are signed for the second movie (bruckheimer said that they would not make a second one if johnny didn't sign b/c there would be no movie without captain jack sparrow!!!) and i believe orli is also! yay im soooo excited!

i do very much agree. if they go with that, it will most definitely ruin the very wonderful essence of our beloved movie. i do agree, bermuda barbossa be a bit, interesting. very interesting. i will be keepin' me eyes peeled fer a better source, and if anyone finds anything even remotely interesting or reliable, be postin' it! i am eager to hear any news! if jack sparrow not be returnin' i be deeply devastated. deeply depply. sorry, corny i know. lol! best be off, plunderin' to do!
