That's great about the anytime FP's! For all the crap you hear these days about Disney NOT seeming to care about guests (and I'm not giving an opinion either way here) it's nice to see that sometimes, they do Yours is the 2nd recent example I've heard of where someone called to simply express concern/ask questions regarding all the things that are up in the air and in return received "pixie dust" without demanding or even asking for it. To quote tons of old people I've come across over the years, "you catch more flies with honey". Or bees with honey? Whatever the saying is lol you know what I mean

Looks like you're in great shape! I've been tweaking my plans and FP+ times the last few days myself, but it's been hard to find the time. End of the year stuff is kicking my rear right now! Dance recitals, end of the season soccer party, PTA meetings, Open House, my mom's birthday, Mother's Day...and that's just last week leading up to this weekend! So ready for Disney!!!!!! And then of course I'll need a vacation from my vacation!!! The next few weeks are going to fly by.

We haven't been too busy but as a teacher, the end of the year will get crazy! And my DH just got a promotion and he will start working 11am - 7pm weekdays (and he already works Saturday and late Friday night)...so home life will be crazy too. I'll have 1 week between the end of the school year and our trip so I'll have to do any last minute stuff that week!

Here's hoping the next month flies by, though!!

Yeh, even if I hadn't gotten any extras, I still would've been happy that they took the time to call! But I won't turn down the extra FP! It actually helps a lot with planning! And I'm not always polite when dealing with customer service, though in this situation it wasn't like anyone had made me "mad" and I usually only get rude in response to an unhelpful CS rep, but I'm glad I chose the honey over vinegar in this instance!

Also congratulations on your packing progress! I so need to get going on that. I have set some stuff aside, but haven't really started organizing things. I love all of the Disney shirts that you have found! I can't believe our trips are next month! (!!!!!)

Thanks and thanks....though the packing progress is just me throwing stuff in the extra (messy) bedroom so it doesn't get in the way anywhere else! LOL Some of the boys shirts are new but some we just had and I just sneaked them out of their closets so they don't mess them up between now and Disney! LOL

Yes..we are so close! I am less than a month away! Craziness. Here's hoping time flies until we get there and is slow as molasses while we are there!

Yippee!!!!! I got the same email.....and I just checked the tracking and it says it should arrive tomorrow!!!!! Our mail always comes in the late afternoon, so we'll all be watching with great anticipation for the mail truck to come around.

Well that was depressing. Mail came...no MBs. Looked at the tracking again and it said "available for pickup". Must not have made it on the truck this AM. Not practical to go get them so we are waiting til Monday for them to be delivered, I guess. Whaaaaaa! I would've been fine if they hadn't said they would be delivered today. Oh well.

Semi-Update (I Blew Up Our AK Plans)

Magic Bands should be delivered today. Had to call the PO because it was still showing as "pick up" this morning. Saturday, either the package was accidentally left at PO or got dropped behind something on the truck, but its out for delivery today.

Another new development: Kenny the Pirate has the Jungle Book show times...so at least there is that. I think we will try for the second show and use our special extra FP for that day for it since I already have the Character Spot, EE, and KS booked.

About that though....I blew up our AK plans! I'm so frustrated. I had relied on touring plans show times and I guess they were just using historical data. Early on I had Nemo planned for 5pm with our Y&Y ADR at 5:45. Well then TP took the 5pm away. So I moved our plan to 6pm and changed our ADR to 6:45. Well now there is no 6pm show. So I just scrapped it. Mom thinks the show is boring anyway and I'm not sure Will will sit still for the entire show. Also, we had the character spot scheduled for right after our character meal (d'oh!) so I ended up moving that to after our break and was able to change the FP. I have it for 5:20-6:20. EE still doesn't have late night FP so I have it for 6:25-7:25 and planned for right before our Y&Y. KS is still 7:25-8:25. Depending on what happens with EE (I want to change the FP to 8:30-9:30 and ride around 8:45 maybe), we'll either hit The safari a little before 8 or a little after.

I think that's it for now. Once I get the MBs, I'll post a photo of them and the special ones I got Aj and myself. Also, I got a new Disney hat. I'll post that as well.

I like how you are so organized with the touring plans. I had a subscription for a few years and didn't use them once! It took me more work to create a plan than to just think one up in my head, LOL I know it works for a lot of people though but I kinda just know what I want to do. I do use their crowd calendars a lot though and I find them pretty accurate!

LOVE LOVE LOVE all the tanks and outfits you bought! I love hot topic! My vader dress was from Torrid because hot topic was sold out but I liked it better because of the longer length. I am definitely too old to be in the hoochie ma ma realm. My millenium falcon dress was from Hot topic and that was way too short so I had to wear leggings.

You are very organized too! I love it! Sorry for all the unknowns. It's tough to plan a trip when you don't know dates of everything. Will you be there for Soarin? I think they reopen the 17th.

I'm trying to plan a Disneyland trip but only if they continue Hyperspace Mountain in the fall. I heard they take out hyperspace mountain and put some halloween overlay. NOOOOOOOO! I will seriously hope on a plane next month and brave the summer crowds just to ride it!

The Nemo show scheduling got me too, as I had originally planned around the 6pm show for our AK day too! They are now showing times of 5:00 and 7:00 instead of 6:00, so we're planning on trying for 7:00pm. So frustrating! I tried to schedule our EE FP+ for as late as I could get and couldn't get any later than 7:05-8:05. Since it corresponds pretty well with the Jungle Book show start time, I'm wondering if they are planning to not run Everest during the show. They may be giving themselves time to clear everyone out by stopping FP+ distribution a little bit before the first show time. Many folks have brought up the possibility of screams from Everest messing up any show they try to do there.

Thanks for joining in! This is my first time using touring plans but it's also my first time with FP+ and planning a trip so early, so I thought I would give it a shot!

I looked at an Ariel tank dress from Hot Topic but it did look like it could be too short. Good to hear about your experience.

We will miss the official opening of Soarin but hope they re-open or do soft openings with the old film beforehand. Not counting on it though.

I've been to DL twice but it's been a long time. I really want to go back!

MBs arrived today. I'll post a photo tomorrow!
