It looks like the USA has chosen at last to use chip and pin for credit card purchases in the near future.

There have been several threads on this forum in the past discussing chip and pin and finally plans have been finalised for the introduction next year.

Thank goodness for that - our cc was cloned when we went to New York and we had £8500 worth of fraudulent purchases - our cc company were brilliant and covered the lot but was still a real shock and a hassle to sort out - chip and pin would have prevented this!
It made us really suspicious of anyone when we went to Florida last year when they took our card for anything - not a nice feeling
