We got a new puppy Watson, Airedale terrier. DH wasn't scheduled to return to work until mid April so we paid the deposit on the last pup. Owner wasn't releasing him until he was 7 weeks, he was 6 at the time. We had about a week to prepare then DH boss called him back to work on a Friday and we picked up Watson on Saturday, March 13th. It's been a struggle being alone and caring for Sherlock & Watson but it's getting better.

Just found out that due to circumstances I’ll now be at Epcot on Dapper Day... torn between being basic and wearing my OG White Orange Bird Dress or if I want to try to pull together a bound

Definitely go for a bound....they are such fun to do!

Back when the dresses were on sale a friend grabbed the Little Mermaid dress for me and threw it in “my” pile at her house. She filled up my box and mailed it out and of course it arrived while I was out of town helping my parents while my mom had surgery. Then I got home and it was Easter. Now I finally have my dress and I’m soooo in love. I tried it on immediately so pardon my hair. I was super nervous about the size but went with the small and it’s perfect!

I recently got the 2020 Haunted Mansion dress which I love BUT it runs small. I usually wear a medium and I can zip it up but it just is not comfortable. So I thought I would see if anyone here might possibly have a large in that dress that would like to size down to a medium? I hope it's okay to mention that here.....I love the dress so much and am sad the sizing is off.

I’m sad for you. I returned a few dresses because they just didn’t fit right. I hope you are able to find one to change it with.

I say go for it. You can always resell it if it doesn’t fit, plus since it’s an open back, it may work.

I was bored at work yesterday afternoon which is always dangerous lol but I ended up getting the Tiana sweater and skirt from the Loungefly princess collection on Unique Vintage! I’m thinking it will probably be my birthday outfit to dinner at CRT!

A little happy Dress Shoppe news to share....... I was able to score the Haunted Mansion dress from WDW outlet for $37.44 (plus a $10 shop fee). I love it so much but am still debating sizing up from a medium to a large.

Then I realized that I had never photographed my original DDS dresses. The Dole Whip dress was the one that started it all back in the summer of 2019. I had admired the dresses from afar but never treated myself to one until then.



Last up is my darling navy Orange Bird dress with the matching bag. This was a steal at $75 CDN on FB marketplace. Orange Bird always makes me happy!



I have another new darling arriving this week...the Aristocrats dress I spotted on Poshmark and couldn't resist. So nice to be able to share with others who understand the DDS love!​

You look amazing in all 3! I totally understand about the HM dress. I had the same feeling. I ended up changing the belt to a wider one that anniebean recommended and i think it looks much better.
