The dreaded DHS CS Question

Anyone have the breakfast sandwiches at Trolley Starbucks In HS? Are they decent? Do they have any lunch sandwiches there?
I saw sandwiches and salads pre-packaged here. As you wait in line, you go by the cases where they show the sandwiches, salads, etc, then you see the item packed up below there for you to grab as you head up to the counter to pay. Can't tell you wait those offerings are, but I did see lunch stuff there.

I would say that it is the same lunch items that you find at Starbucks outside the park.

The dreaded question has the dreaded answer, no there is no halfway decent counter service at MGM. Maybe a quarter way decent, but not halfway :-)

If you really want counter service, you should consider taking the boat to the Boardwalk and eating at the Boardwalk Bakery. Or stay on the boat and enjoy some QS in the World Showcase.

If you don't want to leave the park, we really enjoy SciFi. It's not counter service, but most things really aren't much more expensive than CS prices, and the quality is leaps and bounds ahead of anything else available

Backlot express. I like the veggie sandwich there. I'm not a vegetarian but I eat way too much red meat at wdw. This sandwich is good for a sandwich that just has veggies on it imo. Only 9.99 with fries going by touring plans. Also my wife and I only get one drink to share since you refill the cups yourself. Right now Annual pass member save 20 percent at backlot express.

I agree with some answers above, and it is very very easy to grab the boat and head to the Dolphin. We also love The Fountain there, (walk in is no problem) which is very reasonable for table service, and Picabu is a counter service option.

Thers's a taco salad at Fairfax Faire that I really like, large enough for 2 (or even 3) to share! Note: I'm not particularly a salad person and this is not a healthy option, but a yummy one!

With toy story land and Star Wars land coming we should get at least 2 more quick service restaurants. I know that doesn't do anything for you now if you don't like the options at dhs now

Count us among those who will miss Starring Rolls, but we had a decent meal at Backlot Express on our last trip. We went for my DSIL and DS, who are both Star Wars fans, and were pleasantly surprised by the food. Not gourmet, and won't rank as a favorite in all the World, but solid and filling and no where near disgusting (as were most of our QS meals in DHS before we found Starring Rolls).

Honestly, we were never that thrilled with Starring Rolls! If we decide to eat at the Studios, our first choice is always Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge. The sliders and cheese platter are pretty good. Our second choice is one of the eateries on Sunset Blvd. Our third choice is one of the Epcot resorts or Boardwalk area.

We loved starring rolls and are so dissapointed its gone. We used to like backlot express a lot but the menu now does not appeal to me. We are on the DDP next trip and thinking about paying OOP for sci fi inn but I cant make up my mind. I figure we can use the QS credits for breakfast another day but part of me thinks its a waste. Decisions decisions.

I tend to eat at either Scifi or 50's at HS. Although a lot of the time i'd skip eating at HS altogether and just eat at Epcot. :) So to me, the answer is nope! No decent QS at HS in my opinion.

I'm another who won't miss Starring Rolls, never like it. We ate at the Brown Derby Lounge last week and enjoyed the heck out of it. We also enjoy Backlot Express, I love the caprese sandwich. We have been known to eat at Fairfax Faire as well, lots of options there.
