I haven't been yet, but I hope to remedy that by the end of the year.

DH has been numerous times on business and he loves it!

Been once, no real desire to go back. I chose "dislike" for the poll. It's so not my cup of tea. I could easily list 10 other vacation destinations I'd rather visit.

I voted hate. Although I enjoyed hanging out with my dh, we decided we would have liked just about anyplace else else better. It just felt dirty.

2. WHO can't tell there's smoking going on? I can! It stinks up my hair and my clothes. It makes my throat dry and sore in the morning.

1. Yes, you can, and I do. There is more to being an adult then swearing. Topics of conversation, beverage consumation, the funness that can occur after said consumation (and I'm not talking stuff that should be confined to ones home)...

Guess I'm more sensitive to smoke than you are. I ALWAYS smell it on me after, even in the top casinos.

Re: adult behavior. I agree that there is loads of adult entertainment and behavior in Vegas. Too adult for me, in fact. I was just commenting on what you wrote:
"I love the fact that it's not family friendly. I love the fact that you can walk around and be "adult" without having to worry about saying something "inappropriate" infront of a child"

Again, glad Las Vegas is available to you!!! Have fun!

I'm kind of 'eh' on Vegas. It kind of reminds me of NYC in the sense that if you have a lot of money you can have a fantastic time. If you don't, it's a little harder.

I'm going to Vegas for a bachelorette party in a couple weeks. I'll be there for less than 24 hours (flying in at 9:00 in the morning on Sat, and then leaving early Sunday) so I don't think I can get sick of it. I actually haven't been back since 2003, so I'm kind of looking forward to it.

But in general I wouldn't choose to go to Vegas. I do like slot machines and gambling in small amounts, but have no desire to gamble all night. I do like good food and drinking and staying up late on vacation, but I feel I can do that anywhere. I don't like the weather, smoke, and icky porn people.

My sister and her husband are there right now. They are having a blast. :cheer2:

My son (14) has been asking to go because many of his friends have gone with their families.

I'm now thinking of canceling my solo September WDW trip and spending Labor Day in Vegas instead.

Love it! I got married there (at the Chapel of Love!). It's such a quick trip from Seattle that we go at least twice a year.

It's definitely for adults though. I don't have children and would not take them there if I did.

Vegas is so much fun! The only drawback for me is the one rest area between here and there and the six hour drive. That won't stop me for going back though.

Lived there for 20 years. Just like it. Nice place to visit; wouldn't want to live there again.

It's great! We got married there.

We LOVE it! AND..as few have said on here that they don't gamble so it has no appeal...we don't really gamble either!! We just got back a bit over a week ago and only spent $40 in slots...that's all we did.
We just love all the choices of shows, restaurants, touring the beautiful hotels, shopping, Grand Canyon tours, etc etc etc....... There is really so much to do that you NEVER have to gamble and we have been there many times where we never spent a dime on gambling.
I say to those who judge it before you go....TRY it once...I thought the SAME thing about it before I went!!!!!

We enjoy Vegas. We are not big gamblers, but there is plenty to do in Vegas. I especially love the shows, hotels, restaurants & people watching.

We have fun in Vegas. In fact we were just talking about going in the fall for our anniversary. DH & I aren't big gamblers, we like to go for the shows, restaurants, sightseeing, etc...Viva Las Vegas :thumbsup2 !

Everyone should visit Las Vegas one time. On our last visit, we stayed away at the Suncoast, which is about 10 miles from the Strip. We loved the hotal and casino. The Suncoast runs a shuttle to the Strip, but after several trips to Las Vegas, we just weren't into the touristy type vacation. :)

i started going to vegas when i was 15. (i have family that moved there at that time) and i absolutely love it. i've been there at least 10 times. and we are going in october for a wedding.

:cool1: I absolutely love Vegas! My favorite hotel is the Mirage. Went there in March, and going back this summer before I start my nursing school! :cool1:

I like Vegas, but two nights is more than enough for me.
Since Vegas is a 45 minute flight from Phoenix it's easy for us to take a few short trips a year. We are going next month to see Phil Vassar

DH and I went to Vegas with some friends in 2004. I thought I would hate it, but I liked it. I would like to go back again. I enjoyed just checking out all the casinos on the strip.
