Ok, I'm up! I've cleaned up the pie (don't want the housekeeper handing his notice in!) and found where Nancy hid my ginger pumpkin cheesecake away from the fight. Scrummy breakfast! It's a holiday in my state and we're off to see my in-laws. It was my idea so why don't I want to go any more?
I vote the housekeeper and the pool boy get their own bungalows in the new mansion grounds. Please! They're my favourite halloween candy - eye candy has no calories! Whatever you've got Karen, I want. I really pigged out yesterday - just giving the dentist something to find next time I go...
How about you all come over for the Christmas markets - much nicer than the Oktoberfest, honest! Shopping, food and drink - what more could a ya ya want? (Especially with that housekeeper...) If all goes well I'll be going to my first Dis-meet 4 weeks today. Tiggerlover and her family are coming up from Italy for the weekend, for the Christmas markets. You're all welcome to come! I've been trying to get Nancy over but with no success. Yet.

Had fun trick-or-treating. Have enough candy to open a candy shop!

Michele, we watched Survivor at my mom's house after trick-or-treating. DH didn't want to wait to watch the tape today, so we stayed an extra hour!
Shii Ann pretty much hung herself. I'm pretty bummed she got voted off, I kinda liked her. Plus, I lost points for my Survivor Fantasy Tribe cuz she was on my team!

Now you never know how that phone number might have come in handy...us Ya Yas can be LOUD!! You could have dialed Beanie's number and held it out at the attacker...kind of like an alarm!!

While it's true that today is the release day of "Spiderman,", that's not what I am referring to. Sure, it was a good movie. Sure, I'll probably get it. But this is bigger. Ahhhh, just thinking about makes me smile and gives me chills at the same time.

Hmmmmm... Good point. See? Sure, she was sweet, but it was this kind of thing that kept getting her in trouble. I'd keep telling her, "Nancy is supposed to make the cookies. That's her thing. She has those 2,000 recipies!" But granny would just look at me and smile. I think her hearing aid kept falling out. I'm sorry Kim, but she just had to go. She even started talking about how she wanted to make Apolo all hers. I didn't want to tell you, but I should. For that reason alone, she has to go. Although I'm sure you could take her if it came to it.

My 14 yr. old DS is a HUGE Star Wars fan as well - we've even (gasp!) skipped school to watch the movies at the theater on the first day of release!

I am in a funk - I cracked my last can of Pepsi this morning at 6:30 am, quickly polished that off and I need a refill....... I may have to resort to drinking one of hubby's Cokes!

Our HS football team is in the playoffs - we have to drive to ERIE tonight. Can anyone say snow??!! DD has that little skimpy danceline costume. I personally plan on wearing long-handled underwear under my clothes - so I really hope they let the girls crack out the sweatpants, etc. Their "official" Rockets coats aren't much protection.

Good morning everybody! How is everyone? Great here except for my stupid little dog that seems to have misplaced what little bit of a brain that she did have. She's developed a new morning routine when I put her outside. Instead of going out to use the little puppy bathroom, she tears out to the back fence and barks incessantly at the neighbor dog on the other side. She's been out there for almost 5 min. now barking w/o stopping. It's not even 7 AM yet. I'm sure the neighbors just LOVE me!

Nancy, our lovely housekeeper takes care of ALL Ya Ya rooms...well, except for mine. He's not allowed in there.

Jay, Now now... I would never hire a cookie baking housekeeper. I knew Nancy would never let her in the house, so believe me, this is a non cookie baking sweet little Granny. Besides, her cataracts are to the point now, where she can't see the fine print of the recipes. She needs the work Jay... the poor dear. Her family threw her out of the house last week. She has no where else to go! Ya know, I think Marilyn is onto you Jay. I don't think this has annnnything to do with her ability or lack thereof to carry out her housekeeping skills....does it now?

We have the "other" maid for the rest of the cottage

Yep, Star Wars in IMAX. Pretty cool!!! According to the Star Wars website, they went in and touched up the film to prepare it for Imax. They're not just showing it on the bigger screen. This should be soooo cool!! Now to find the small fortune I'm sure it will cost to buy tickets.....

So the worn down, Apolo-stealing granny stays?? Ya'll are just jealous. You think that if I get a hottie housekeep that you won't get any massing or anything. Yep, that's it. Hmmmm.... I think Luis should have a say in this as well. Somehow I think he'd rather see granny sitting in her rocker at that retirement village rather than working her like crazy as a housekeeper. Besides, she's already gone. Can't get her back. She has a big bingo tournament & split yesterday. As she left, she said something about winning all the money, then finding that spandex wearing speedskater with the cute little fuzz on this chin. Too late. Can't bring her back.

Trunk or treating = our church's alternative to regular trick or treating. We gather at their parking lot, open the trunk, decorate it and give out candy from it. In the case of where I live, it was 90% SUVs and minivans, so it's more like Hatchback-or-Treat. LOL. I played my Haunted Mansion CD as the kids flocked by. Tons of kids. More than we get at the house, too. But it was fun. Lots of Dis costumes too.
