Just got back from subbing in German. The kids were good and the teacher left me the answers. I took German in high school and just a little in college, so if I have the answers then they can remind me of things that I could say as tips or clues for the hard questions in the workbook. This was German I.

Poor DH was up all last night and this morning. Let's just say that he slept on the side of the bed closest to the bathroom. Poor guy. He changed his 6:00 flight this morning to 6:00 this afternoon. Hope they have a good supply of barf bags. I feel so bad for him. Good thing I threw sketti down the disposal hole last night or he would have been even sicker. I knew I was doing the right thing. Hee! Hee! Honestly, it was a mistake and you should have heard the word that came out of my mouth when all those stringy little sketti's slithered down the hole. DH is laying on the couch with a pillow over his head as I write.

Michele you must be talking about Marilyn's room. Remember I don't have a room. I am room hopping!!!! Someone has to be the Party Girl and it might as well be me. Jennifer and I will work on you room in a day or so. We have some other unfinished Ya Ya business to take care of. Who does that ***-istant think she is anyway? Hurting our Jennifer. What time does the Hang Em High Club meet tonight?

Snow is also a possibility for Halloween here also. Let me go on record that bfeller does not like snow. I hate snow. (Even if my mom told me that there is no room in my heart for hate.)

Pam I will be serving sketti to you and only you tonight around 6:00. Now which disposal hole do you want that sketti to go down?

Jay, can you PM me the answer to TTA? Remember I tried to answer it on the other thread. I promise not to tell anyone. This is driving me crazy. If you don't tell me I am going to have the cable and satelite disconnected from your room. So what kind of dog do you have? I know that you have a cat also but I am more of a dog person than cat person. What are your furbabies names?

Our 2 year old shih tzu is named Princess. Not for the disney princesses but because she looks like an EWOK and we couldn't see naming her Ewok so we started thinking of names of Star Wars characters. Thus Princess from Princess Leah and then her middle name is Jewell because that is DD's middle name. We have this funny thing in our family about pets. All male pets have or have had the middle name of Joseph because that is DH and DS middle name. Sounds a little freaky but it works.

I *love* my Envoy. I like the size of it really. I wanted an SUV, but not too big. Had a Blazer before it, so I wanted something the same size. The Envoy could be a Caddy if they changed the logos. The thing runs soooo smooth & has enough features, that's for sure. The Escalade is a shart SUV too! I looked at them too, but just didn't want one that big (besides DW wanted something a bit smaller & the Envoy fit).

Sorry to hear that your DH isn't feeling well today Betty. Does he have a virus or something else that set him off like that? Doesn't sound fun no matter what. I just hope that is one quick flight for him tonight and he is feeling better

He must have a virus. Who knows where he picked it up? First he is in Florida, then on an airplane, and then at that retreat with 20 men. All I know is that I slept on the edge of the bed last night. Didn't care how much I wanted to snuggle since he is gone all week, I stayed away from him. Didn't even want him to breathe in my direction. Poor guy. Just gave him some special bfeller toast. Didn't even tease him this time and let it go down the drain. We are still talking about that!!!! It is going to be one of those 'remember the time that mom was unhappy with dad stories"

I once threw a bag of cheese puffs at him and hit him right along side of the head. They popped open. Cheese Puffs all over the couch. (This is the only time I have thrown anything at him) I had come home from grocery shopping and he had fed himself and didn't feed the kids. He was busy watching football or something. The kids were little and they were so hungry and I was trying to unload the grocery bags and put the food up. When I found out that he fixed himself something and not the kids, I lost it. So I threw a bag of cheese puffs. I am such a violent person. And yes, DH picked up all the cheese puffs. The kids and I were outside laughing our butts off. I couldn't believe I hit him, let alone that the bag popped open. I have such a violent streak!!!!! We have laughed so much about this over the years. But he always remembers to feed the kids now!!!! Of course now they are at the age where they feed dear old dad. Their favorite of course is cheese puffs. So anyone else willing to tell a story about themselves?

LOL! I have a "what I pitched at my dh " story! We were not long married. Dh is a redhead. Vital to the story because 1) redheads are notorius for their tempers and 2) when we were first married I was more than a little on the timid side.
I don't remember what we were fussing about but he wouldn't let it drop! Whenever I am reaaaallly angry, I clean! Good use of adrenaline...the kids know the sign....stay OUT of Mom's way!
Anyway... I was pissed and started emptying the dishwasher! He kept nagging.... I told him several times to back away and leave me alone. He made onnnne too many snide remarks, laughed and turned to leave...too late! I snapped!!! The only thing I could reach was a fork....pitched that thing at him like a knife thrower in the circus! (Watch out for us quiet types) It wizzed past his ear and got stuck IN THE WALL!!! He swung around with this stunned look on his face just as my hand found a banana! Yep...pitched it right at the sucker! Have you ever seen a banana explode? Veeerry impressive!!! We laugh to this day about how our marriage might have changed if the fork had made contact before the banana!!! BAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Lesson dh learned that very day: when Jodie says "leave me alone...DO IT!"

You guys have some funny stories there. They don't sound bad to me at all. I am sure they felt that way at the time but at least it gives you something to laugh at. Unfortunately I don't have any that are funny even now and don't see them ever that way. I have the temper of an Irishwoman and sometimes it really shows. I can be downright cruel and that's not something I am ever proud of. I will say though I have learned my lesson not to throw things when I am angry because I have terrible aim when I am mad. I usually would throw things towards Luis and not mean to hit him, but I would Maybe I ought to try and throw it AT him and then I'll miss Oh who knows

So Jay, why did you ignore my answer (yes I'll pout and try and milk as much out of this as possible )

Oh Marilyn, that was the original name when Magic Kingdom opened. Yensid is talking about some other !@#$% name. I also mentioned that name on the original thread and got bopped down. But, us great intelligent elder Ya Ya's know what the real answer is. He is just being picky over some stupid new name. This is no way is meant to offend Yensid.

Jodie, I thought I was the only "look what I can pitch at dh" person. Nice to know that I have some company in the club. Good thing that I was sitting down when I read your story, I was floored and my jaw dropped when you mentioned the fork. Oh my!!!!! but the banana is priceless. Do you think that we can make these items (cheese puffs, forks, and bananas) as Ya Ya weapons to keep DH in line. I think the Ya Ya Enforcers need something to smack down those bad DHs. They should know better than to upset a Ya Ya. You are too priceless!!!!!!!!

Way to go! How did you find it? If you don't mind me asking, that is. I can give you the source I used to find this so you'll know it's authentic.

Betty, I have a little Sheltie. He's about 8 or 9 yrs old. We got him about 7 yrs ago from a Sheltie rescue group. They had found him as a stray. We also have 2 cats & a bird (cockatiel). We used to have some fish, but they turned to sushi. JK! They all died after long, happy, fish lives and got a burial at sea. Yes, at one point, we had the Food Chain.

Christmas morning my brother and I are goofing around and I'm pitching Xmas bows which he's batting with a roll of wrapping paper. The bows have very little weight so he grabs a McD packet of ketchup(do you spell it catsup?). Anyway...you'd think those things were thicker...his batting stinks anyway..well, not that day m'friends. WHACK!!!! Ketchup everywhere...who knew there was so much in that little packet... the spray design on the walls, MAGNIFICENT and nearly impossible to wash off. Mom, not happy.

Almost time for AMC...and I am SOOOOO glad someone got the TTA q.

Jodester-it's a date-I'm makin' snow in my room as we speak.

I'm bored today. Not good... boredom rapidly slips into depression for me if I'm not careful. Guess I better go find something fun and/or productive to do.

For those of you who aren't familiar with it the best way I could describe Industrial Engineering is that it's similar to some school's program of Systems Engineering, and is he most business related of all of the Engineering fields.
Physical Science sounds pretty hard as well. Is she in her first year, or how many years does she have left? Good luck to your DS interviewing for jobs. I know around here when I entered Engineering 4 years ago computer engineers were the hottest on the market... and now the computers are really having a hard time finding jobs! Funny how much the demand can change in just a few years. How's the market around there?

Lynne, please keep your snow in Canada. You need that freezing weather to produce my favorite dessert wine. Iced Wine is out of this world. You must be one smart cookie to be in engineering. My DH bachelor degree is industrial management which was a combo of engineering and business.

I love shelties Jay. So what is your dog's name? Thought about getting one two years ago but we decided on a smaller dog.

Elaine, you haven't been married long enough to have the "let me pitch something at dh" yet. You know, I didn't really mean to hit DH with cheese puffs. I was shocked that he turned around right when I threw it, then it hit him, and then the bag popped open. I was shocked. Just give it some time.
