Now since it looks like we can complain and say stupid things here (gasp how would I ever get that idea!!) then my stupid thing is....I woke up this morning and my neck was stiff which of course meant from the start that I have the West Nile Virus....so now that I've been up half the day and worked the "crick" out of my neck from sleeping I'm thinking twice about the West Nile....maybe I was overreacting a little.....YA THINK?????? And ummmm YES OPEN THE PACKAGE!!!!!! What are you waiting on????? It could be something very important in there and you were opening it for his own good! What if its a puppy or a kitty then it can't breath in there and you were doing the only human thing by opening it "JUST IN CASE " Anyway thats my first post on this thread that I can't believe I have missed out on before!!!!!!!

Ewww...gross...Jeannie I KNOW what a chigger is and that grossed me out!!! They are sometimes an unfortunate souvenier of my campouts!! I HATE the little things!! They itch like a fiend and it looks like you have the measles!! They seem to be in "clumps" that us lucky few just happen to brush against...or sit on ! Bug spray doesn't seem to work very well against the little buggers! Jennifer...ALWAYS use your sit upon is all I have to say! I took my camp chair this time but one of the very sleepy little boys sat in it around the campfire and I didn't have the heart to boot him out so I sat on a log around the fire...MISTAKE!!!! Next time I booby trap my chair!!!

Jennifer, to prove her kinkiness, admitted to sleeping with 33 women this past weekend...one of whom slept in french cut undies!! Um...just to keep things crystal clear...Jennifer is a Girl Scout leader and went on a campout last weekend that was training leaders in the skills of camping!

I am going to add to Kimmie's whinefest. DD shared her sore throat and sinusitis as well as her cold. I just hope she hasn't shared her ear infection as well. Probably going to be a Nyquil nighty night for me before long. Where's WillyJ when you need him? Of course, we have to support Disney and wait till after "8 Simple Rules" is over.

Open DH's packages? Nah. It usually is just something for fishing or for his boat. Booooooooooring.

We got our cable back today. For those who don't remember, I was having some difficulty with DD as far as amount of time spent with MTV and wanting to emulate some of those...um.....characters she was seeing on there. So we disconnected the cable for about 6 months. Let me tell you that it was worse on me than her. No HGTV, no TLC, no Lifetime! So now I can watch Golden Girls reruns and Trading Spaces. And yeah!!!! We have the Disney Channel back!

Okay about the green hair... yes it was me, yes it was intentional and no I didn't like it. I went to being orange the next day. I had a period of time where I loved all shades of orange and red (natural or not) and one time for the heck of it I went green... ICK! I don't need my hair to match my eyes, so it was gone the next day. Now I do prefer to stick to natural colors though

Jennifer, I thought that I had the only DH that won't attend children parties. When Allison was little there was a period where all the parties were at Chuckey Cheese or something like that. He went to 1 and swore them off. Even now, he hates to drive her around. We frequently have the discussion about who was at the conception and should be sharing some responsibility? MALE BASHING ANYONE?????

Kim, hush it with the hair coloring stuff... I realized now I am sticking to temp colors that do wonderful jobs of conditioning the hair and giving me a change of pace for a short while. Hey everyone! I was distracted by the fight someone is trying to pick with our Mistress Kim-say the word Kim and you know we'll unleash some major duct tape hurtin' on this thinly-veiled greyside attack.

It took me approx. 1 hr and 15 min since my orig. post to open the package (with e-mailed permission)-it's a Memory Foam pillow-does anyone else have one of these? Ultra-squishy but firm/hard to describe...

Sorry to hear of everyone's computer travails-but happy to hear Elaine is a computer geek!

Betty...whenever anybody around here gets chiggers we dab a little clear fingernail polish on every spot and keep it there for a few days until the itching stops. Seems to work!

Sad day at the barn today where dd rides. Seems one of the older horses is quite ill...not sure he's gonna make it. The poor old thing was just laying in his stall and they had to keep pushing him to get him to stand up. The little girls were crying and the owner of the barn was quite concerned. When we left, the vet was on the way. Guess we will see tomorrow how this one ended. ***Dream takes a big gulp of smoothie...se hates to see animals suffer and little girls cry. ****

Ooooohh... a squishy pillow! I haven't used one of those but I have thought about it from time to time. My neck and back are all messed up and I always thought that maybe one of those would be good for me. But I am happy right now with my pillow, but you must tell us how you like it!
