It's update time!!!
From page 32 until now, this is what we've been up to!
Jennifer and Jodie returned form their Girl and Cub scout campouts and very much enjoyed showers and sleeping in their own beds!! Jennifer broke the cardinal rule of scouting by not "being prepared" with a clothespin to put on the nose of the "foghorn snorer" who kept the whole lodge awake for 2 nights!
Jen and Jennifer continued to marvel over their similar lives which ended with their hubbies...alas, their hair color is different!
Hair color seemed to be a recurring theme with Elaine telling theings "only her hairdresser should know for sure."
She posted a lovely picture of her self as a redhead, then told "hair raising" stories of coloring jobs gone bad...REALLY RED hair, then less red, then back to natural brown...but it has been MANY shades of red, dark blonde and GREEN
Jay learned that football can be very distracting
It was decided that the point of this thread was to keep in touch with eachother and share with friends, but Jennifer started it to pose a question about pm's and when to end the volley...this too became a recurring topic!!lilboo also had a greast reason for the thread...as a bastion of sanity and an island of calm on the CB! Here here!!!
Kim and Elaine briefly considered going bright red for dis-con...NOT!! Hmmm....maybe lime green??
Jennifer was miffed at her dh who kept the kids alive ehile she was away for the weekend---but didn't do anything ELSE!! Um...TYPICAL!! He slept in the doghouse
lilboo was good naturedly fussed at for lurking and not joining in our fun!She made a yummy cake to share and very shyly told us her RL name is Jeannie!...then told us she came out of lurkdom in the first place because of three classic threads..."Stick your foot out Elaine", "You can have him", and "I've had it"! We are glad you took the plunge and jumped into our craziness Jeannie...don't be a stranger!
Betty wondered why it took 33 pages for the true meaning of this thread to be revealed, then offered everybody cold milk to go with the cake!Betty also empathized with Jennifer on the "man thing"and suggested we do 3 or 4 pages of "male bashing", then told HER color story when she was a redhead. Betty then confessed to wearing "old lady leather boots"
Jennifer called Betty a "sexy, leather clad woman" and just before going to sleep for the night suggested that the topic for page 66 of this thread be "the meaning of life". Dream thinks Jennifer should have gone to bed juuust a few minutes earlier!
She then shared the story of her SIL who changed her hair color every 36 hours and ended up with the perfect shade to be a pumpkin for Halloween! Jennifer has never permed, colored or highlighted her hair, but she has cut out straw rockets with a woman from NASA while in her pajamas!
All of this talk of redheads reminded us of POC and "we want the redhead". The meaning of this term was discussed in disneylike fashion.
Betty is subbing every day this weeek and got the last word of 10/6.
Jodie got the first word of 10/7 and admitted she has pm issues.
Jen was babysitting for a neighbor's kids and said she likes the name "Dream". Dream loves the name pajamommy, but now admits that for quite some time she thought it was pajamamommy-describing that state of being too busy during the day to ever get out of your pajamas!
Michele returned from her Mom and Dad's and bragged about the yummy food she ate!
Bonnie suggested an official name for this thread, which ended up being"The Divine Secrets of the Last Word Diserhood" to include any male or female diser brave enough to jump into this insanity!! Bravo Bonnie!!
Bonnie admits to "hiding her grey with her natural color" and is now looking like a poodle after a perm that "took" really well!! and her DD has been a good girl and shared with Mommy...too bad it was a cold! Feel better Bonnie!!
Kim whined about computer problems keeping her from having the last word last nightand felt silly about discovering the real menaing behind Jennifer's thread on page 34!!!...and admits her sexy leather stilleto heeled boots are really COWBOY BOOTS!! Hmmm...very different visual there Kimmie! Kim brought an end to the male bashing by saying they're sort of cute (anybody surprised?) and she doesn't color her hair for the color but rather for "the conditioning aspects of the color." Ahem...
Jay was happy we were not bashing HIM, only our dh's, and felt all "manly" and stuff and called us the "cute girls"
Elaine said the boards are "about as quick as mud moving in a desert that's all dried up" and offered Jodie a solution to her pm issues
Jodie's assistant Girl Scout leader was very helpful (GASP) and Jodie shared that every room of her house is full of disheveled camping gear. She double checked with folks to make sure these loooong updates were still ok with all
Bonnie cheats and reads the updates only sometimes and called us MOUTHY!
There was some discussion of whether these long threads get closed eventually...no real conclusion was drawn
Betty felt unpopular because she never gets any pm's. Jodie suggested we fill Betty's pm box...she now feels popular!
Jeannie also feels unpoplular...let's fill that pm box diserhood crew!!
Kim had a nervous breakdown after having her teeth cleaned by that "jackhammer" thingy! Dream hates that thing as well and thinks it was created by a very sick individual!! Poor Kim! No package has arrived from Virginia on the Best coast yet...should be today! Remember to check those air holes Kim!
Elaine and Luis celebrated their 2 year anniversary!!!

Um...just to keep things crystal clear...Jennifer is a Girl Scout leader and went on a campout last weekend that was training leaders in the skills of camping! Allll wholesome and above board!! You're welcome Jennifer!

I think it started when I walked out into the pantry at 7:30 this AM and saw that the little black ants were back... ALLLLL over my boxes of cereal, etc. I hate little black ants!! While I'm trying to assassinate ants, I'm also attempting to get Cam's breakfast and lunch together. While I'm doing THAT, the cat decides to torture the dog, this ticks off the dog, so the dog goes after the cat, which in turn gets the other cat's panties in a twist. At this point, Cameron is trying to come out of a codeine (cough med) induced fog and can't take the noise from the two cats and the dog, so he takes off after all three of them. 
It's making a grinding noise whenever I start it up. Can't be good!!!! Not to worry.....It won't keep me from here!! Both girls have internet access on their computers so I'm kickin' one of them off theirs until mine gets back!!!
