Ok, so here is the story. I go in pay for the pizza, but since it will take 45 min JUST to make it (very busy) I say ok have it delivered. 1 hour and 10 min. later I call. Oh we were wondering where you were this says carry out. No I say I specifically said deliver. Ok, they say but his one had been sitting her FOR 30 MINUTES!!! We'll make you a new one and bring it out in 10 minutes. That's it I say. Owner say "Well what do you want form me? I suppose you want it free." I say no what I wanted is my pizza delivered when you said it would be. He says . "well other places take up to an hour to deliever" I say yes, but that's not what happened here, you made a mistake. Then he says "and I suppose you want me to pay for it. Fine, I'll knock $5 off." I mumble fine (because it is now 7:50 and Emily refuses to eat anything but pizza!) .....8:30 rolls around...no pizza... I call..."It will be there any minute. I point out that it is now 2 hours since I ordered the pizza and had I not paid up front I would have canceled this order long ago. Then the owner says..."Fine I apologized and gave you $5 and a fresh pizza, if that's not good enough for you then tell the driver to give you all your money back." I proceed to tell him that won't be necessary, but consider this our last purchase.

I know places make mistakes, and I would have gladly just taken the $5 off and fresh pizza, but he was really rude!!!

Wanna hear the best part.....THE ORDER WAS WRONG!!!!!!!!

No wonder my husband is stressed.

Hey Kim, blow out the candles before you hurl them this way. Things in my house got a little out hand. You would not believe the the things that got seinged (is that spelled right?doesn't look right, I mean burnt.) Next thing I know the smoke alarm is going off and I turn around and think this is what is looks like when Kim cooks.

Oh Jennifer, I just thought of our brownie buckets. I took empty clean 5 lb paint buckets and painted the bucket part brown and left the lid white. I stenciled our troop number and girl's name on the bucket. We kept our sit upons, books, pencil, folder, supplies, etc..... in it. Then we could use them as stools to sit on. Was great when we camped.

Karen, I can't believe that you got glasses to read. You are such a young Ya Ya. But then again whatever it takes to keep you on this thread is OK by me. Great news for your DH. Must be a great guy.

Oh Apolo, I think your dork name should be: Kim's fantasy dork. Like I really believe that Apolo really was on our thread. Do I look like someone who would believe in anything other than the Tag Fairies? I don't think so.

Sorry, I think the Ya Ya's are throwing cake under your dress. They misunderstood that you are under duress. Please be patient with them. I on the other hand have quit throwing food.

Jennifer, as far as the pizza weanie goes, word of mouth is better than anything. Tell 1 person and you have told as good as hundreds! As the owner, I would think that good customer relations are important. Guess not. Wonder how much this is going to cost him?

I agree about apolo, if you are the really apolo, we want to see your gold medal. I also hate secrets. If someone knows, pm me! and Jennifer!

So what is DH doing to irritate you?

so...post pizza incident. I eat while walking out the door at 8:45 to get Paige from her party. I come home, Emily is in bed and I think all is right with the world. Tummies are fed (even if it is a little late) Emily went happily off the bed, Paige is back under my wing..... Paige sees her favorite cat had gotten outside AGAIN. She panics....dh orders her upstairs to get ready for bed (he doesn't feel like debating cat yet again) she goes up and starts sobbing in the bathroom. Tells me she doesn't want daddy mad at her. I tell her it will be ok. Just get in bed and I'll watch for the cat. DH hears only the crying and comes up to say that if she's so tired there will be no more after school activities because "this entire family is stressed out" I usually don't get into conflict with him. He NEVER admits he's wrong, so there's just no point in pointing it out. But I did take him in our room and tell him the reason she was crying was because she didn't want him to be mad at her. Now he's sulking around the house avoiding me. I think he knows he was a little jerky.
