Well I'm leaving Florida for a while, maybe permanitly. So that means I can't be there to chase after the bag when some one decides not to show up or backs out at the last minute.
I'd love to be able to keep this a property wide swap. But so many people are so reluctant to transfer the bag to the next person. Maybe I should keep it at the Epcot resorts or something (where there's a few hotels all right next to each other).

I leave on Saturday and I don't know when I'll be back. The next user has yet to contact me, even after sending a PM. I'd love to be able to fill up all the dates, so it's not sitting in LS.

And stopping the swap is the last thing I want to do. There's so many fun things for the kids, and a way to pass off extra goodies. Half of june is open, july is open, at least august and sept are full. I don't want to dissappoint any one.
Plus, I have no idea what to do with the stuff if I decide to stop it at the end of the year...

Fellow users... What do you think is the best idea right now?? Should I trust Luggage service??

Wow, Sandra, I'm sorry you are leaving Florida but I hope this means you have something better in store. You have been so kind to start this swap and to see it through.

Unless someone else in Florida is willing to be a guardian for these bags, I suggest we trust luggage services and hope that everyone who signed up may still get the bags. Eventually, we know that LS will fall through...but until then, maybe most of us can still enjoy the bags.

-- of course, as I write this, I am biased b/c I'm really hoping to use the bags in July! I'd be willing to consolidate everything into one bag during my trip, which may make it more acceptable to Luggage Services. I know they don't like to store a bunch of stuff long(er)-term. Any items that didn't fit I'd leave in a common area at our resort with a 'Free to Use' sign.

Another alternative would be to donate everything to a local women's shelter. I'm sure they could find a use for all/some of the stuff.

I'd really love to consolidate it down to the bag and cooler. But all the toys take up a bit of room. So I added the duffel bag back for the summer items.

And it's people like you, minnievanmom, and parker'smoma that really make me appreciate doing something for others.

I hope this move is something good and will work out. While I'm moving to the other coast... I'm too far away to start up a bag for Disneyland. Although that would be a pretty cool feat... two bag swaps at both Disneys.

I could be a holding place 6/10-6/21 if the person before me can get the bag(s) to POP LS, and the person after me could pick up from POP. My DD is 12, so I don't have much use for any kid things, but I could keep the bag(s) out of LS.

I will be there from 9/30 - 10/6. I don't have children so I will travel to another resort to pick it up and transfer for the few dates that are open during my stay. I can also consolidate and clean out during my "clothes washing time". It will give me something to do to pass the time. Also, prior to coming down if a swapper could let me know what is low or needed, I do tons of couponing and I would be willing to fix it up a bit.

And Sandra even though we have never really talked, I have followed your posts, and .............

Well the bag went into storage. Well shall I say it got transfered to two boxes into the storage unit. I kinda needed to use the suitcase.

The next user that really wanted to use it doesn't show up till late June. Hopefully I'll make a trip back to Florida before then, and can start it back up.

I think I might split it into two different boxes, and do a MK swap, and an Epcot swap. I know it'll cut out half the resorts. But there seems to be plenty of pay it forwards for the value and moderate resorts.

I really wish there was some one to leave it with. I didn't want to put it in storage, but no one responded to my PMs. I'm gonna change the title for now. And I still have my list, so I'll send PM's out once I start it back up.
