While I was at the DS this weekend. I was purchasing some Dis merchandise for my exchange gift. I also pre-purchased the Cinderella DVD. As i was chatting with the CM and mentioned how we were going to be grandparents in the next couple of months. She told me by Oct. they were gong to start to carry Disney clothing line for infants.

Yeah, how cool is that.  My DH's reaction was Ka-ching!! looks like we will be visiting the DS more ofter.

I hate the Disney Store now. There is barely anything for adults in the store. I used to ALWAYS stop by there on my trips to the mall, not anymore. :(

I usually just stop in, get disney dollars and maybe a car topper, key chain, new coffee mug, not to much else for adults. but I'm glad we still have one open. :earsgirl:

I had dinner with the manager of my local DS last weekend, and she told me they already have the infant stuff in (in the stock room) and it's really cute! I can't wait to see it!

We have had infant clothing in the UK stores for as long as I can remember, but very little of interest to adults - no household stuff except for mugs, no aerial toppers, and definitely no Disney dollars. Just lots of pink plastic and princess headdresses!

Sounds good poochie - spend lots of cash there so they keep it open! :goodvibes

I don't like the Disney store that much anymore, since they don't have nothing for us adults, but I do stop in there sometimes when I'm at the mall. Last time I was there, I wanted this stuffed Simba that was adorable. I don't have enough space in my room though. :p

It's about time!!! I hope they put it out soon, I'm already putting my little big man in 12 months sizes!

While I will keep all personal feelings about the DS out of this, they carried infant clothing back in 2003/2004.

As far as I know theres no more dis stores on the westcoast except for cali

ohh cool!
i wish they had the jeans for girls there so cool! only for boys it stinks

I just assumed they've always had it. When i started there in 1998, we had a whole section of the store devoted to it. I left in 2002 and it was still there. Now if we could just get some of the adult stuff back, i'd make the special trip it takes to get into a disney store. The new store design (the mickey store) will maybe bring some better merchandise?

I bought infant clothing there years ago, did they stop selling it for awhile?

Yep, mostly toys, costumes, snow globes, mugs, dvds, t-shirts and occassionly they would carry pjs for kids and sometimes nightgowns for adults. As much as I love the toys I wish they would bring more adult goodies in. I can only wear so many t-shirts. Have not seen infant clothing in ages.

Maybe if enough people contacted the new ownership asking about adult clothing it would help. But being owned by Childrens Place kind of preordaines it doesn't it.

infants should be on the sales floor right after Labor day! Floor set that weekend.

Oh sure 2 days after my DD baby shower, they could not put it out prior could they!!!

I officially love the Disney Store, because they got a lot of W.i.t.c.h. merchandise in.
