CORRECTOMUNDO , but I think that it's..........BETTER. Of course, everyone is entitled to their own perspectives. I think that people feel freer to post without having to cower before a "Disney Day" construct. . The "RIGHTEOUS" here would like everyone to march to their drummer.

Not at all but I don't believe that's a bad thing. Change will happen, but it's how you let it effect you that can make the difference. As long as I have friends here I feel the experience is so worth it. I still think the positive far outweighs the negative.

I guess I need to say that a lot of what I'm thinking comes from remembering people that aren't here anymore.

In that respect, it's not better. At least for me.

I understand in that respect but when I look back to when I started coming to the DIS, there are so many MORE people.

It's still great for the reasons that I come here-to get and exchange information for Disney World trips. For that, I think there is no other board as good as the Dis. The information is priceless, and reading about Disney World really makes the time between trips go by quicker.

For the community board, I don't know. I read it, but don't understand the people who post about the details of their personal lives. I've never understood the emotion that people bring to these boards. I could not and never would post details about my lives the way I have seen people on these boards do. So when you say it's not the same, I'm assuming you're talking about the community board and not the other boards.

Everybody will have their own opinion if things are better or worse based on their own experiences. i find that things are always in flux and i do miss some people who did post her but are now banned. Some i agreed with, some i disagree with abut always enjoyed the good exchange of ideas. For me its about a wash.
And i agree wholeheartedly with PNELSON!!! I would never post the things about my personal life that some people do here!!! Im sure the people that do have different reasons on why they do it but i would never put my dirty linen on the internet for all to see!!
