They had a front end cap display of all the kits, on the main aisle.. can't miss it.. It's been there for a few months now. Kinda blew me away to see that they carry it.

I had a makeover done by Bare minerals at a Mall of America boutique.. I think the lady did the wrong mix of shades, it was too white on my nose. Hubby didn't like it, boys thought I looked funny.. I ran off to a bathroom and washed some of it off.

I really wanted to like it since it is good for your skin and easy to apply.. I will have to try again I guess.

Hmmmm... I wonder if mine doesnt carry it. We always meander past there, but they domt have it on the endcaps. Maybe Im just not looking close enough. :lmao: I want to try it, most stuff looks like crap on me... I have icky skin.

nice metal image there.. a bathtub full of creme brulee.:rotfl2:

:lmao: Think of how much fun it would be to jump in through that crispy layer!:lmao: :lmao: It would have to be crispy BEFORE you jump in... I dont want anyone coming towards me with a blow torch while I am in the tub.

I have very oily skin, too, plus I'm allergic to a lot of stuff. It took me forever to find a mascara that didn't make my eyes itch, and my skin breaks out easily. I don't moisturize (I know, it's a mortal sin!) I used to use a Clinique foundation that was great, it was for those with sensitive skin, but they discontinued it and I sort of gave up.
It is not a mortal sin when one already has oily skin!! That is such a skin trap from the cosmetic people. I only use sun screen everyday, and even then, I need to be careful. I have found a line that I love and it very reasonable.
Since I do have oily skin, I have done a lot of research on skin products. I found a book called "Don't Go the Cosmetic Counter Without Me," by Paula Begoun. She is like the consumer products guru of make up and skin care, and gives you the low down on everything. It's about 1400 pages. Even what big company owns what, and what products are just as good from a drug stores verses the department stores. I love it, and have finally found a system that works for me. She also has a website.

For instance...Pro Active...she will tell you what is just as good or better that you can find in an drug store. Or that L'Oreal owns Lancome, Maybelline, Helena Rubinstein and so on. Este Lauder owns Clinique, Stila M.A.C. and so on. And so much more.

Geesh can you tell I like this kind of stuff. :rotfl:

Also that I type slow? :sad2:

So... We have a makeup guru among us. I might have to take you shopping with me one day. I tend to look like a prostitute wearing makeup. And one of those fancy high priced ones either. :guilty: :lmao:

Wow! I had no idea!

I was interested in proactiv when I was breaking out a lot, but in the past two years (pretty much since I quit my stressful job), I rarely break out now. It sounded so good, but when I really looked into it I found several user comments that it dried their skin out too much, it was too harsh. So I never did try it.

I thought about trying that too... But oddly enough, this mew medicine I am taking is supposed to help with it. So I am going to give it time, and see if it works.

Yuk Yuk Yuk!!

Actually I'm afraid Lynn might get impatient with me, when I apply my make-up everyday!:sad2:
Aww, heck, she'll be asleep still, she'll never know. Unless you're really noisy as you apply it. Which would be seriously weird...:rotfl2:

Online too of course

serioudly, I have found just as good.. if not better at DL, character warehouse or even the Disney Store.. but I'm not into high fashion jewelry.

Kid sized bracelets fit me, I buy those :rolleyes1

:lmao: :lmao: I am loud when I put on makeup! Oh CRAP... What the heck? I didnt mean to do THAT!! Wow... That looks bad. Then you hear the water run, and we start all over again. :lmao: :lmao:

Again? I gotta watch! I love it when they have those!

Oh, I saw that! I was just flipping through channels, and they had a cute little guitar shaped pendant, and they called it a Hanna Montana pendant.

Well I need to bid you a good night!

Oh and Alex, I forgot to ask you if you had read "Color Me Beautiful? I did years ago, and I have forgotten alot of the "rules of thumb" in it. I looked around for my copy tonight, but couldn't find it. Anyways, was wondering if that is where you came up with your info.

Good Night!!!
