yes, 15 today. sniffle sniffle...I feel old today.

I was teasing hubby.. no really I was only 12 when I had him... hubby goes hmm that would have made me 9 yrs old. ummm on second thought...





I have half grown boys, while I loved those early years.. I'm glad they are over too.
Now I get to start worrying about teen sex, dating, drugs, being smart and safe....... OY! They are good kids, really. Just a tiny worry about them but I have faith they will be just fine.

Must be why the greys haven't invaded too much

Yep my "J"

we went out to eat and then just hung out at home, mellow child.

Maybe will do something else this weekend.

Hubby was a troubled teen, not that he had a great home life at the time. At one point his mom locked him out of the house -- he walked all the way to town (they live in the country, it was several miles in early spring) and asked to be put in foster care. Sad years ...but now they have a good relationship.

just a quck note before we head out today. I'm taking the kids to go pick up my mom. Hopefully we wont have that long of a wait to be discharged. You know how that goes.

Anyway, she is doing great now. STill waiting for the report on what exactly made her have the reaction. Maybe they came this morning.

actually i personally dont think paula deens house is contry except for certain appliances in her kitchen....melody has the wooden bench that you use to sit on that lifts up and you can store stuff in the kitchen....she uses greens and reds and carpet in living room is cream...she has an OLD antique black piano that got carted over on a wagon she says....he walls in the kitchen have stenceled heart if im remembering correctly...her main bathroom has cream and country blue striped wallpaper and on the top and bottom has flower border...i love it

My house needs a MAJOR OVERHAUL!!!

I'm tired of my "country" look, and things are in need of major remodeling!!!

We have plans drawn up for an addition, and my next step is to get them approved. In it is my "Paula Deen" kitchen, and room to put all of my family around a dining table. We have the huge table already bought, now I just need to have a room to put it in. But this remodel is alot, and I need to get myself psyched up for it. It means living in a trailer (trailer trash) , and also clearing out a space in our shop/garage to make a living area. This could last for 6 months, and that kind of scares me.

Remember when I told Lynn that she was going to start a war last night on the Komen message board when she told Velma that she was spelling Here wrong? Take a look. I'm debating on whether to let it die down or confess that a friend of mine put it on there for me.

But don't want to overdo it and know that I will if I start lifting bags of potting soil and heavy baskets. So guess I'll just sit on the porch, have a cup of tea and look at my dead, crunchy brown last year's plants!

Well I would feel the same way too about your hanging baskets, but PLEASE don't even think about it. Maybe you could have DD do it for you. Do it step by step with her???

Alison, take it easy lady. Do I have to drug you up with Benadryl so you are so drowsy you can't do anything to keep you down? Duct tape you to a chair? tie a heavy chain around you that is more than 10lbs? What do we have to do?
