And for those of us heading down on 7/17....

6 MONTHS!!!!!

Would you believe 6 months ago was the day I wiped out on my floor and ended up in the ER. Just think how FAST those 6 months have gone. It will be here before we know it!

I meant to post yesterday, but I didnt get a chance. Without getting into detail, Sue Ellen, and especially Steve could really use some prayers and pixie dust right now. :( I'm sure she will be along to update us as soon as she can.

:grouphug:

 For SE & Steve...hope everything turns out OK...

No computer time last nite - DS didn't get that big poetry project finished to turn in on Wed. but the teacher gave an extension until Fri. - so we had to make him work on that all evening 'cuz I want it done & turned in TODAY. Even skipped the Cub Scout Pack meeting. For some reason we don't have Word on his computer in the basement so he had to use my old one up in the Study. His is much, much newer & faster but so I don't know why DH never put word on it? :confused3 Anyway, Rosie & I had some work to do and I had to re-pack a bit - since the forecast has 30-40% chance of rain a couple of our days I thought I'd better try to get a spare pair of shoes in for ea. of us in case we get wet. Tried to pack the lightest ones I could - but it meant taking out a couple things & adding & re-arranging the duffle quite a bit...so now it weighs about 47 LBS (shoes!) but should still be under that 50 Lb limit!:thumbsup2 I really wish we had a big 'ole sunshine pic on one of our days but it doesn't appear to be going to happen.:sad1:

We finally sat down to watch A.I. around 10:00. RJ - I think the country bumpkin boy was OK - but I think he'll end up like that little cowboy kid last yr. & won't make it all the way to the finals... Beano is probably right - somebody with some big taataa's will win it!:lmao: :dance3: (There is no smilely for that!):rotfl:

So we are supposed to get a wintery mix of stuff here today (better than tomorrow when we fly I guess). We live in the 3-6" of snow then ice then freezing rain area on the weather map. But DS has a Dr. appt. at 5:00 so I would normally leave work at about 4:15 to get him but will prob. have to bump that up earlier. Then of course, there's swimming at 7:30 - if it's BAD I hope they just cancel it 'cuz with traffic I prob. won't have time to get between the Dr. and the pool.....and I really don't need any delayed opening of school for tomorrow since I'm only scheduled to work 1/2 day (now that the place I drop him off at doesn't open on time anymore when it snows - THAT would really screw me up in the AM!)

OK, so I'm just sitting here talking away to myself again....(the receptionist had a Dr. appt. this am so I am covering again....)

Morning Peeps!

SE & Steve: :wizard:  If there is anything we can do....please let us know

Lovel ove? What dat?

I predict that Simon will be a butthead, Paula will be sugary-nice but spacey, and Randy will say "Yo Dawg that was pitchy!!" alot.

And then someone with a good voice and big hooties will win.

End of season.

:lmao:

:wizard: :wizard: Pixie Dust to SueEllen and Steve. Yes, if there is anything we can help with please let us know.

RJ - AWESOME picture. Where do you find those!? I wanna go NOW!!

Annie - have a great trip! and stop packing and re-packing.:)

Let's see - 6 months ago I was...:scared: In the hospital!:cutie:

OK - off to office. yes, again. Then Dr. appt and scrapbooking! I gotta get my last cruise scrapped before I go again!pirate:

Have a great day everyone.

Hey ya'll....Where is everyone?!

So we got about 4 1/2" of snow today....DH got gas for his new snowblower and was grinning all over with it! It was a long crappy ride home to get DS for his Dr. appt. (I passed 3 cars in the median within a mile of leaving my office). But then all of the county rec. stuff was cancelled so no swimming! Oh. But wait. We PAID for that. Hummmm. Hopefully they will get to make it up in early March. Brought Chipotle home for dinner then went back out to the PetsMart....we used to always have this teenage neighbor girl take care of Buzz & Woody when we go away but she's in college now - and is going back to NY on Sat. So I had asked the next door neighbor boys to do it but their Mom is still in Johns Hopkins & nothing is normal over there right now - so I went to buy an automatic feeder & water thingy. We've never left them for more than a regular 2 day weekend without having someone come in so I decided it would be a prudent way to care of them this time around. Now I'm doing laundry...then DH tells me about 30 min. ago that he needs to go in to work at 4:30.:scared1: Good grief - I still don't have the carry-on bag finished either. :sad2:

I can't believe out Peeps Baby is 6 months old! Yikes, that did go fast!

You'll get there, Annie! Sounds like you are just about ready. If I dont get to check in again, have a magical trip! Say Hi to Mickeys for us!

I probably wont be around much the next day or so...we have another party to get ready for. Tomorrow Colton makes his First Penance at church so we are doing a little party for that and combining his birthday party for the family with that. His birthday is Wednesday so I figured the family wouldnt want to give up 2 Saturdays in a row for his parties. ;)

So much for January being a quiet month after the holidays.

Mornin'

Annie: Have a wonderful trip! :goodvibes

Katie: good luck with all your party plans...hope the weather cooperates for ya!

Bets: Where are you?

Cheri: Hi.....hi.....hello.....hehehehehehehe!

Hey ya'll...thanks for the warm thoughts...I will tell Mickey ya'll said hi!!

Happy 6 month birthday to baby pirate Linden! Be good for Mommy! Take a long nap!

Katie - have fun with your parties! Hope everything runs smoothly!

Betsy - how are you by now?

Where's TZM & Ophie these days? And Sean?

SE - hope everything's OK...

Cheri - scary I got all your pics right...must've been my lucky day!

RJ - nice pic again today!

Beano - take the day off!

Who did I miss?

I am so-o ready to be out of work and go home...am starting to re-think a couple things in the luggage again! Might need to re-arrange! Today, the forecast for Sat. is still calling for 30% chance of showers but the temp is up a few degrees (74 on one site & 76 on the other)! That's warm enough for short sleeves, right?! Right? Am I right?! Or is that still a tad chilly????:confused3 No fleece required anyway for Sat.!!:goodvibes Next question - have never flown in the winter with coats etc. - do you just shove them in the overhead bins or should I get out another carry-on bag & see what I can cram into it?!:cool1:

Been up since 4:30...eyes are tired... Can I go yet?! Can I? Huh? Huh? :rotfl: OK, I'd better get back to work...if I don't get to post any more - everybody have a great weekend - be back Tues. afternoon / evening!

Im one of those always cold people and I would do shorts in 74-76. Probably start off the day with a sweatshirt, but once that sun gets strong, it will be warm.

As for jackets, I usually just keep mine on my seat sort of in back/around me. Like I said, Im always cold. ;)

Have a great trip Annie. 74-76 is Prefect weather.

Katie, don't forget to take some time to breathe this weekend (and a glass of wine would be good too:idea: )

must call the Bets and check in. Not like her to be sooo quiet.

Baby Pirate Linden: TAKE LONG NAPPY so mommy can scrap last cruise, make fish extender, repave driveway, build an additon on upstairs, and take soccer team to the park. Be a good girl now and we'll take you someplace cool this summer.

Guess it will be quiet around here this weekend... Katie gone. Annie gone. Bets ? TZM and ophie don't like with play with us any more. I'm hiding from the laundry. Anyother grand plans that will find us on page 3 Monday morning?

Well, I just emailed Sue Ellen, and I do have an update for you all.

What had happened was Steve had a stroke. Actually, it turns out it was a mini stroke. And the good news is there is NO permament damage, Thank God! He is home now.

Ironically, someone at Dreams had sent us all an email on Sunday about the signs of a stroke, what to do etc... It was perfect timing and seems to have really helped Sue Ellen to know what to do. Great job, Sue Ellen!

:grouphug:

Well, I guess you could call us MIA (Missing in Action or Miami International Airport) :)

We have been busy working. Ophie has her other big event of the year coming up - The Heart Ball and me being in finance have had a lot of year end reporting and such to do. We should be returning to our normal silly selves soon after Valentines Day. In the mean time, we will try to chime in with snide remarks and such. :rolleyes1

:cheer2: Yay!! Yay!! Snide remarks!!:cheer2: We love snide remarks!!

Cheir - go to fish extenders thread - look at posts 234 and 241 - they have pictures of what I envision mine looking like.:worship: Oh please oh please let it work.:rotfl:

Also hiding from laundry here. But did get scrapbook for Dad done. Ok it's from our trip to WDW last December. But it's done. And yes, concrete is churning for the driveway. Must do that after lunch.:thumbsup2

Katie - I concur with Cheri - wine. And lots of it. And thanks for the update on SE.

SE and Steve - :wizard: :wizard:

Annie - Stop messing with that duffel bag! Have fun!!

RJ - great picture as usual!

Beano - When does the football pool start again!:confused3

Betsy - Where are you!?:flower3:

Oh No! Feel better Steve!

OK, we're outta here! So long!!!
:goodvibes

PAGE 2!!!

Just had to pop in to let you guys know we booked our ADRs this morning. :woohoo: We got Kona 7/17 at 12:45 (lunch on arrival day) and Jiko on 7/19 at 7:00 (dinner the last night).

The kids miraculously BOTH chose Epcot as the park they wanted to go to Friday. That would have been our choice, but his trip is about the kids so we left it up to them. Personally I thought MK would have been better for them, but we will take it. They have Margaritas in Epcot! ;) But anyway, we will do ESPN for lunch on Friday then since we will be right around the corner.

So, those are the plans (subject to change at any time;) )!

Mornin' Peeps

Katie: so, I guess that means you are not gonna meet up with us at The Radisson the night prior to the cruises. Guess we'll just have to hunt you down at the port! :rotfl2:

Katie, I'm guessing the boys like Mission Space and Test Track? Don't forget about the Grey Goose slushies in France :thumbsup2 By the time you walk "around the world" you're sure to be thirsty again. Do your boys mind walking around the countries?
