Hi guys! Man have I been busy! We did our hayride / bonfire thing last nite...I was right, our jiffy john friend had supplied us with our very own private john - with cinnamon apple air freshner! We polished off a whole tray of jello shooters (the girl that makes them raids the ketchup cups & lids at Mickey D's for her "supplies") I don't know how many trips she makes there to get this many cups & lids (I think she said she can get 60 on a tray)....she usually will make them again for the big football / chili party this weekend too........

Sue Ellen - have a GREAT trip! Hope this T.S. doesn't do any damage at CC!!

Am on the switchboard now doing her lunch break. I am trying to leave work an hour early today...ordered a tray of wings from the grocery store for our "afterparty" so I need to stop & pick that up then dash home, change & help DH with the rest of our setup. There's no school here tomorrow (another freaking "professional day") so I expect everyone will hang out until at least 10 or 11:00....it's supposed to be warmer today / tonight. I think the kids will probably start trick or treating later than they used to since we haven't changed the clocks yet. They used to start around 6:00ish but I think 6:45ish tonight maybe just as it starts to get dark. No frost tonite - supposed to stay in the 50's thru most of the evening which is good. Then it's supposed to get brrrr cold again for this weekend - so the party Sat. nite will be cold. The fire pits & patio heaters will be a popular spot to hang out for sure!

I don't know if I'm dressing up or not...have other stuff to finish first. I have a couple of old costumes I could pull out if I have time (Cat in the Hat, the Beast from Beauty and the Beast, an old Star Trek shirt....I got some options....so we'll see how my time is running!)

So, I just walked around the city with my neighbors and kids for the past 2 hours. My feet hurt! The kids each have a shopping bag full of candy. This is insane! I think I better go help them eat it.

Halloween was sorta a bust..we got around one block and it started to pour! Kate got about as much candy as we have left..so there is candy for the next month!

Sami was dressed as a lobster..she was a HUGE hit to all the people on the street and to the kids that came to the door...she actually sat and let me put it on her and kept it on all night...it must have been warm!

Thanks Ronnie Jo, but I think Ill just save everyone the trouble and stick it right on my hips now.

We have 1 full gift bag of peanut candies (Cams allergic), we have a huge bowl with Milky Way, 3 Musketeers, and Kit Kats, a ziplock full with Hersheys and Twix...and it goes on! I have yet to sort out the non chocolate stuff (I only care about the important stuff, LOL), but my dining room table is covered. I think this is the most we have ever gotten...and of course Im trying to be good this week (gotta see people I havent seen in years this weekend and I was hoping to not look too fat). UGH! I think every time I go to the piles to grab some I will walk away and come post here. I'll have a lot of posts today.

Sorry about the rain, Betsy. That stinks. Can't wait to see pics!

I'm back.

I forgot...about 50 small bags of M&Ms and a handful of Kissables. Those are put aside to bring on trips with us. They are great on the plane and I can never find the individual packets any other time of year.

Cassie was a geisha and Timmy was "Buckethead" (RJ- Bob should know this guitarist from Guitar Hero). He was busy holding his guitar so he didn't get any candy. So, guess who is hitting his sister up to share?

We didn't have many t-or-t'ers this year. We used to have tons of kids (and we went thru 6-8 bags of candy). This year hardly any little kids and lot's of teenagers. (maybe that's what happened to the little kids )

Guess where Cassie and I were today? . Pretty much walked on to Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Matterhorn. 15 minute wait for Indiana Jones. Very cool day. Too bad we only had a few hours. Oh well, we get to go back in a we short weeks. Have to get the shopping in doncha know

Linden and I stayed in - OK she was sleeping - and Neil and Ryan went out. I had 184 kids last night. Pulled out all bags of candy I had in the kitchen. When Ryan came home I went through her bad and "regifted" the candy she can not eat with her braces. When the bucket was empty the lights went out.

And yes, what is with the teenagers!? I don't mind so much if they are wearing a costume but...boy is it lame when the just show up with the pillowcase off the bed and want a handout.

Not too many original costumes this year. The kid who was not in costume but told me "I'm a mexican" was pretty funny.

Let's see this afternoon - orthodontist for broken wire, Brownies, soccer practice and then dinner. I see the soccer coach called the house today but did not leave a message. So I figure I can safely assume Johnna will be coaching AGAIN tonight.

I need to go to Disney....

WOW! 184! We gave out 165 full size candy bars and ran out JUST BEFORE things wound down. The last couple of groups didn't get anything. I was bummed. I really wanted to have a snickers or some Reese's or a bag of M & M's leftover for ME!! I make all but the littlest ones "say the magic words" (no not please but "Trick or Treat"!) If they don't say it & just hold up their pillowcase or their Walmart bag I just hold it up in front of them & tell them it's the rule! I think the one costume we had that I'd never seen before was a deviled egg!

I am going to try to go upload some pics in a bit - but I'm pretty beat (my eyes hurt) and it's a big TV nite. Things didn't break up out front until about 11:00 - by the time we brought in what needed to be brought in & cleaned up the court a bit & got to bed it was about 12:30. Alarm goes off at 5:30...and of course I had about 3 20 oz. Captain Morgan's! Our driveway is eewwwwy sticky now! And I'm so busy at work I don't have time to pee....my head was not in the game today let me tell ya!

Be back in a bit maybe..............gotta go make some leftover meatloaf sandwiches for the boys!

Volleyball season ended last night...the freshman ended the season with a loss. That gives them a record of 11-6...I think they did awesome for a team of first years! of course, I may be a little bias since Johnnie was on the team

Marching band season has also ended (with a few parade exceptions)...BOB and the band captured numerous trophies!!

Now if Beano could ever find time to edit raw video footage, I will have him post their field show! They rock!
