Betsy got spanked! :lmao:

Hawaii!? Don't know that I am that excited about a Hawaiian cruise. I think its cause Hawaii is just right there. Kinda. Sorta. You know what I mean - if the mood strikes you just hop a plane and viola! Hawaii in 6 hours or less. Not all that expensive. Of course we have not been in 5 years or so. But..we could go...if'n we wanted.:confused3 I don't know.

I was looking at the new Disney Adventure packages. Those look like fun. But not very inexpensive that's for sure.

Let's see...go to the office....laundry...sleep...office..laundry...sleep....oh the decisions one must make.:sad2:

Bets is off to WDW this weekend...what's everyone else doing??

(this coming from a mod who sees your posts all the time and didnt even notice you were over;) )

that's what you get for going over to the CB in the first place. (those people can be NOT nice - cliquey little things, they are) - rant over...

As for DCL doing Hawaii cruises, that was been kicked around and here is my take (and bursting bubbles). I don't think it's terribly likely because of the whole foreign-flagged thing and other stuff I could really bore you with.

Mostly, I think that by getting back on a ship at the end of the day, you'd lose part of what Hawaii is all about. When I wake up in a new port I feel like, "ok, gotta go check this place out." (or do my excursions - or go do whatever I spent the last year planning) Whereas, if you are in a hotel you are more immersed in the island experience. that's just my unsolicited opinion. We've loved our visits to Hawaii. We'd go back again - especially now that my little brother lives there and knows the "insider spots"

I think I want to try one of those Adventures by Disney first though. That Aussie one sounds gooooood. And the Italy one. And the western one. And...

Betsy - please to be having a Grey Goose splurpee pour moi! (and Cassie wants a plum slushie - I think that's what ophie turned her on to)

Hi Everyone,

How has everyone been? I've been so busy at work that I have not had a chance to write, but i have been able to at least read the boards.

Linda and I are heading to HHI next month for a little get away...

Check out our ticker

:thumbsup2

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. There's obstacles with cruising there...and I hear what you say about the island hopping....but since we've gone & stayed before it would be a diff. way to go. It would be less hectic than wasting a day transferring / island hopping.... Hawaii for us is a BIG trip. 12 1/2 hours minimum...and that's if you only stop once. A lot of flights are 14-15 hours with layovers if you don't watch what you book. Last yr. we went thru Salt Lake City on the way over, then came back thru Atlanta. That's like a 10 hr flight....long! Then home from Atlanta. Hawaii is only slightly less expensive than a cruise....even with budget hotels like the Outriggers.... ANYWAY, I just read where this new property should have about 1/2 of the units for DVC - so THAT'S a good thing! We will definitely use it!

Betsy - have a great time! Have SOMETHING to drink for me - your choice! I ain't THAT picky!:lmao:

Sean - great ticker! You'll have fun @ HHI - I hear it's VERY NICE! It's on our "one day" list....

Gotta go clean DS's bathroom ETC....2 more nites of cleaning before the family comes Sat. nite.... Ran to Michael's at lunch yest. for some "greenery" for the "new spare room"! Found some ivy - wound it around the legs on the new floor lamp...looks good! It's unusually WARM here - supposed to be in the 80's Sat. - kinda messing with my fall suit plan for my nephews wedding...now I wanna wear something more summery! BUT it's OCTOBER!:sad2: We shall see.........gotta run......gotta clean.....then Survivor!!:thumbsup2

14 hours? There aren't too many places I want to go badly enough to spend 14 hours getting there. Australia is one of them though:upsidedow

Your ramily comes Sat. Ours comes Thursday. When do we get together and have a "cyberdrink" of relief? (Chris and Beano do it often and, from what I can tell, it works out great :rotfl: )

Hi Sean!:wave2: Hi Linda! :wave2:

Hi Sean!:wave2: Hi Linda! :wave2:

I want to go to Australia too (isn't that like a 24 hr trip?) - but since their seasons are opposite from ours it has to be a winter trip (for me anyway 'cuz I want to go in their summer). So as long as we have a minor in school we won't be going until DS has moved out of the house!!:rotfl: So maybe in like ummmm.....10 years!:rotfl2:

I'm Goin To Disney, I'm Goin To Disney!!

Woohoo!!!
I'd call you a name, but you're my friend.

Aw, who am I kidding.

You're still a snarffrazzle for going without me and RJ and al your fun friends to laugh with (and ... you know)...

We'll just have to have our own Wine Festival next summer. (Yes, I'm aware I left out the food. It's just too hot to eat in July :rotfl: )

Have fun. Let's see... if you have a Rosa for RJ, a Rosa for ophie, a Goose for Cheri (and a champagne for Cheri - 'cuz this is my idea :rolleyes1 ), a margy for Annie, .....

:yay: Hey gang!! checking in before I head out to find some fall-ish type plants/flowers for the yard.

Having beeg BBQ here this weekend. Figure if I plant pretty flowers maybe nobody will notice the weeds.:rotfl2:

Bets have fun at WDW

Did TZM and Ophie go? Did anyone hear?

Annie - stop cleaning. And why don't they just drown that way too skinny whine-y girl on survivor? just happened to catch the challenge part of the show. sheez can't cut through ropes with a machete!
I remember with DD was 8 weeks old we flew to Hawaii from BWI or maybe Philly- layover in LA which worked out cuz back then people could meet you and my family came to see the baby. But I digress...it took us like 13 hours to get to Maui. Not good. Way too far. London is closer from here and that just seems wrong.

So... Cheri...Disney Adventures...say in a couple of years....
