It could happen that Ophie and I will be at Disney World tomorrow....My cousin is going to be at WDW for two days. Tomorrow and Thursday. So, I am thinking that we could stay at Disney tomorrow night and hang out all day Thursday, only to come back to the real world on Friday. What do you think?

Question oh fellow DLR'ers: Would you go to DLR over Veterans Day Weekend?
There is a chance I could convince DH to go - but do you think it will be crowded? Mostly locals?

Sure it will be crowded, but a weekend in crowded DL is better than a weekend at home!

And I think TRM should go to DL in Nov. (Veterns Day I think she said). At least you guys can DRIVE!! Look at us - we have to get on a freaking PLANE to go for even 3 days in January!! If we could DRIVE - Oh YEAH! We'd be there!

You CAN drive, Annie. We have a few times now and we are a lot further than you. We even drove on Wed-Thur, cruised Thur-Sun, then drove home Sun-Mon (and we only booked the cruise the Thursday before).

The freaky thing with Claire is that she cut that toe off herself with a pair of like office scissors! I mean she didn't even use a sharp KNIFE! And then it only just flipped across the room a little - I was expecting gushing blood or something.... And the whole stolen car thing seems irrelevant to me?!
OH!! Invisible Man attacking the old timers! Forgot about him! But WHY?! Thought it was cool that the white Kensai (sp?) guy could heal himself....do you think he's like Claires great, great, great, great, great grandfather or something?!

hhmmm had not thought of that. I hope Claire picked up that toe!!

Yes, we CAN drive, so let me rephrase that - we WON'T drive it again! We drove it once non-stop / overnite years ago when we went for a week (so really only ended up with like 5 days in FL tho). I think it was like 16 hours on the road & I have memories of nodding off in some fog bank in Georgia around 5:00 am. Not worth the exhaustion for us - esp. for a quick 3 day trip like we have planned in January! We would then only have 2 days down there!! Ummmm...Not! And stopping 1/2 way wastes a vac. day on either end! I don't have PTO leave to burn like that!! I like knowing we can be there in 2 hours on a plane!! I was just trying to point out that for someone who lives only a few hours away it would be a lot easier to hop in the car & go for only a day or two...

LOL! I take it you dont like the drive? I had always said I would never do it...WHY would anyone do that??? But then we were scheduled to fly out on 9/24/01 and my attitude changed. Surprisingly, I didnt think it was too bad. We have done it a few more time now and I'd do it again. We do 24 hours straight through, although once we made it in about 22.

Hope things get better for you Bets...and you get some lettuce (I'll leave it at that ).
