Beano - Nice rides! But I agree with CamColt - the mustang is more my speed!

RJ- no see picture of new table But I am sure it is purdy.

Ophie - nice wine selection. We opted for an Obscurity Cellar 2005 Tempernillo followed by at Santa Barbara Winery 2005 Syrah. Great with the Rotelle Gorganzola I had! I love it when friends visit and you can order food from the more expensive restaurants and go pick it up!

TZM - I guess us Americans are just the ultimate consumers. But we love our Volvo.

Annie - full on travel mode! You go girl. I am dually impressed. You may not be as graceful as me but man, you got me on packing! And ironing. And cleaning the house. And laundry. I am working on our laundry right now. Ok, well, right now I am typing on the DIS. But you know what I mean. The dryer is going. That counts right!?

I gotta pack the family to fly to Portland on Thursday. Haven't started yet. I would say Annie and I just might round each other out. Or maybe I am the type of person that just drives Annie crazy!?

Ummm...my kid is almost 3,800 days old and your little one is HOW MANY days?! I would think that would probably mean that I SHOULD have a few more chores done than you! Don't ya think?! Maybe?!

I AM the type that drives ppl crazy - ask DH!! I obsess & fret & worry & share WAY TOO MUCH of whatever's goin' thru my head....at least I KNOW I'm a kook...I just can't stop it....

No coffee after 11:00 am for me...gimme diet cokes!! Have now moved on to trying out that new beer - Miller Chill. NOT QUITE up to Corona Light standards. But I bought it so now I will drink it! Will I buy it again?! Ummm. Doubt it.

RJ & Beano - love the new table! I like those high ones...they're very cool. We bought a wood table from Scan for our kitchen...I obsess over it CONSTANTLY (Imagine that one?!) (scratches...use the coasters...dings...chips...don't set that THERE!). Next time...tile or corian or something! But I DO love that look that you bought!

Am starting vacation mode NOW - which means no more cooking for me this week!! So what if we don't leave until Thurs.?! I didn't even buy milk this weekend! Pizza Hut is on the way (but I had a COUPON)....have I completed the packing yet? NO! BUT the toes & nails are a beautiful light pink now and I DID spend like 2 1/2 hours cleaning the basement and DH's shorts are ironed! At least I got SOMETHING done....now where did I leave that beer?!

Kate starts school on August 22..late this year because they passed a law that school can't start more that 2 weeks before Labor Day..dumb law!

Wow! You guys sure start early...but you get out early too I guess. The boys don't go back until Sept 6th.

In a sense I can't wait but also I dread the thought of having to deal with homework and running them around again. Getting Cam to do his homework usually becomes a nightly war.
