So, anyone left at home doing anything fun this weekend?

Ummm....Nope.

gotta run to the office in a few minutes - my day off - for a teleconference. Should be exciting.

Then....errands. Whooopeee

Then....um...?? Should do laundry, laundry and more laundry but maybe take daughter to movies. So do love to ignore laundry. Huh - maybe that is why it always seems to pile up.?:confused3

Task for weekend: Get DD closet organizer in so I can move her toys out of old "playroom" to make room for baby.

I am feeling way behind here with the whole make room for baby thing. May not bode well for DH this weekend.:headache: ;)

Oh I know how you feel. We had just bought our new house before I got pregnant with DS#2. The house is a split and our downstairs was unfinished when we bought it. The plan was to make an office and playroom down there. Of course by the end of the pregnancy we were still finishing things up. We did finally get the toys and desk out of the "baby's room" before he arrived though. It will all work out for you, I'm sure. You must be getting excited! Not long now!

You are doing the right thing by going, Annie (I despise those things). ;) The scouts picnic sounds like fun. That will keep you busy.

Lets see my weekend...Tonight, Cam has a baseball game. Tomorrow morning 8:45 Colt has soccer. Cam has soccer at 11:15. If he wins, he has another game later in the day(dont know when). And Colt has baseball at 4:00. If Cam wins the second game, he goes to the championship on Sunday. And between that I will work. I tell ya, the excitement doesnt stop here.

I really don't want any of this jewelry....but I sorta felt bad - she did one of those e-vite things & I kept putting off answering & then I went out there & looked & the Yes's looked pretty slim compared to the No's & Maybe's....then I was talking to her & she said this is the first time she'd ever had one of these kinds of parties....So I felt bad & said Yes. :sad2: I flipped thru a catalog...it's 90% silver plated stuff....and I'd much rather not buy anything that's plated with anything (gimme the real stuff)!! But so, we'll see. I mean the stuff looked cute but..........:headache:

My DS is so-o not into any sports! Nothing! We made him play Flag Football a couple of years ago....he hated it but we sorta forced him....he's not into anything. He likes swimming but we haven't pursued it beyond lessons here & there (he needs to learn how to DIVE)!! On one hand, I'm sorta glad he's not Mr. Athletic - it keeps our schedules from being overwhelming - and we won't have to worry about him having sports injuries! But he's not getting that whole team experience....that's one reason we've sorta stuck with the Cub Scouts - just to keep him in a group setting. Next yr. will probably be the last yr. for that tho - I think once they move on to Boy Scouts it calls for a lot more outdoor stuff - which none of us are into!!

Well, made it thru the jewelry party / show thing...$100 with tax & shipping:sad2:

Hope everyone's having a good time!!!

were not doing anything to exciting like eano and crew, we are just going to spend the day in nyc and do some shopping

I thought u were in FL too?! No?! But yes, a few picts. would be really nice! I don't know anybody else who's done a morning wedding.... Would like to see that....... Does one eat made-to-order omlets instead of baked chicken & pasta with your choice of alfredo or marinara for a morning wedding?!?! And perhaps with Mimosa's?! Hummm....getting hungy now that I'm thinkin' about food....the scout picnic isn't until 2:00....stopped by the Amish Market on the way home yesterday & picked up 3 Lbs of their "white" potato salad for the picnic (it's very creamy and with dill). :thumbsup2 Bet I could go eat 1/2 lb right now & nobody would know!!:rotfl2:

Going to NYC sounds exciting. I've never been and always say I want to visit there some day. Being so close you would think I could make it happen. Hope you are having fun.

Glad you survived the jewelry party, Annie...even at a price. ;)

Big Congrats to the :bride: and :groom: !!! party: We want pics! We want pics!

We made it through Colts soccer game. But by the time Cams came around we needed umbrellas. :sad2: He won 5-1 so now we go on and play another game at 4:00 (Colt is skipping baseball),and it is now pouring out. Almost hoping its cancelled, but we will see.

Yes, it's official !! I will try to post pics tonight or tomorrow when I can find some more free time. The weather is gorgeous here in Vero and we're off to family BBQ tonight. There is free (yes, free) wireless access here at the resort so as long as I can find time, I can upload and post all I want.

More later... :goodvibes

Nope, not yet. We don't get to go until Wednesday morning. Still have :laundy: to do and Timmy still has two days of math finals to live thru (or maybe it's me that has to live through it... hm...)

and, yes, I think mimosas should be mandatory at a morning wedding. Champagne fits in at any occasion in my book - ok, maybe not a soccer or baseball game. Some parents are so uptight about these things (sheesh :sad2: )

Katie - I feel for you and the weekend sports things. I was soooo glad when Timmy gave up baseball. Those 2 hour games during the week and on Saturday were killers.

Sean/Linda: Timmy says to eat at Carnegie Deli for him - home of the 8 inch corned beef sandwiches (and if you happen to pick up a little something for me from Tiffany's ...:rotfl: actually the one time Chris took me there I couldn't find anything to buy.)

I'm working on a web site for some peeps who are going on a cruise.:rolleyes1

Youll be there soon,Cheri! Good luck with the finals. ;)

The 2 hour games are the good ones. Usually our coach want them there early so it ends up being about 3 hours. Monday's game is at 5:45 and the coach wants them there at 4:00...we are talking 4 hours!!!!

Well today wasnt a total wash out. We got in Cams second game and by that time it was only a light mist again. We won! On to the finals tomorrow! :cool1: After the game some of the kids were saying they were going to the festival at our local church. Of course our kids wanted to go too. We figured we would go get them pizza for dinner and head home. You know how that goes...you run into people you know and talk, they serve beer...we spent almost 3 hours there! :rolleyes1

:grouphug: Hey everyone!

Sounds like all are busy this weekend.

Beano - do post pictures when you can!

Working hard here. Had a couples massage at 1pm then DH went golfing. DD and I went to Barnes & Noble. Annie - I spent $100 too!!:)

Now surfing the net, saying hello to friends and looking at horses my husband will not let me buy...oh yes, and ignoring the laundry. Still.:lmao:

I have a feeling DH will bring golf buddy & his wife home for dinner so I am thawing a tri tip and gotta make "cheesey potatoes" One of my better recipes if I do say so myself.

Sean & Linda have fun in NYC - I also always wanted to go there - lived outside philly for about 5 years. Never made it. DH not a city person. Will make it someday. Never made Gettysburg either.:confused3 Well I reckon you always gotta leave something to see or there is no reason to go back. Right?:confused3

:lmao: The other ppl in our school / pack or whatever know that the Whites and the Malpasses (our next door neighbors) always come with coolers everywhere we go! :lmao: Our other inside joke is the red cups....you know those big plastic 16 oz things everybody always has at a party or whatever...we just pour our beverage du jour into those :lmao: as if nobody else has caught onto us by now! :lmao:

Wedding was stunning...weather, perfect!!

yes..omelet station, tonga toast and mimosas were on the menu..

i am pooped ( and havent done anything ) good thing I have a week to rest before the REAL vacation starts!!

ps..i miss you hon and will call tomorrow!

Well, today's picnic lasted a LONG time...great turnout eventually...great weather... Some were staying to camp out in the woods - DS decided at like 7:15 that he wanted to stay & camp - of course we hadn't brought anything...so I had run home real quick & grab our OLD little tent, sleeping bags etc. for them before it got dark! Then I had to hitch a ride home with my neighbor around 9:30...so yeah, long picnic... These ppl that host the picnic have a nice spread back off the beaten path - nice house overlooking the pond & gazebo

The pond water is too green for ME to get in but the kids don't mind...and there were some BIG freaking tad poles in this water! I mean HUGE - can't believe they didn't have legs yet! (Bull Frogs)! MAN! They were like the size of catfish! :rotfl2:

DH goes in too

So I know it's not as exciting as WEDDING pictures....sorry - I do what I can to amuse... Actually, since my boys stayed in the woods tonight it's weird to be home alone...should I go to bed early?! Should I drink another drink?! If it wasn't so late I would clean a little...but it's almost 11:00 - don't feel like schlepping the vacuum to the basement right now... Hope DH doesn't lose my truck keys in the woods (leaves)! I left him with another 6 pack...could happen ya know!!:rotfl:

We are home!

Started laundry and ready for a nap...

Did anyone see the tourist that were abducted from DTD??? Very scary...we must stay in a group!!
