The DIS - Flower & Garden Preview Coverage.

So this is what the Dis team does for work? I HATE you all. @Teleclashter I am talking to you. Now I will go back to carrying 94 pounds of rock and digging a ditch.

I have a confession...
Every time someone comments on this thread and I open it to see what they said, I watch the video again.
I think I've seen this video at least 5-6 times already. I love it every time. It's such a fun look at both the team and the event.

Also, Kevin wins the video with his cheeseburger comment.

Hats off to Craig or Ryno or whoever edited this down. I assume an hour and a half of footage of Pete eating that had to be cut to five minutes. Again, I hate you all for doing this for a living and VooDoo Sticky Pig Wings deserve it's moment of glory.

really enjoyed the video and fun seeing a whole bunch of the team interacting together and having fun

$150/person does seem a little high ... was there entertainment as well or really just eating and drinking? (not that there is anything wrong with that) - those the additional perks like Pete mentioned do help out a bit

Good thing Craig is so tall so that it took a while for the 57 drinks to hit him ;)

The food sounds yummy!! Is there a list or map as to where we can find each dish? Great video!!

Hey everyone just giving some feedback on this video this is amazing coverage here. I love this on the ground coverage as opposed to talking about it SHOWING it - beautiful job done by the team :)
Thanx for pointing this out to me.....REALLY enjoyed watching it, and seeing yet another side to the Team, and so many of them together outside of the studio. BRAVO!!

$150 for this kind of event seems like a steal to me, especially when you factor in cocktails and favors. I priced out all the foods I want to try at F&G this year and it comes to $90, not including any beverages (and that's if I pay OOP and don't use any snack credits). Plus I 'have' ;) to walk around to all the carts and don't get seconds unless I pay for them.

Great video!

How did I miss this? Thanks for posting - I enjoyed the video and seeing the team having fun together. It made me wish I lived local and could then attend these Tables in Wonderland events.

That was incredible...and you can add me to growing list of people who were more than a little jealous watching this.

All I get to do for work is deal with awkward teenagers and even more awkward administrators...

I know the team must work hard and we only get to see the fun stuff, but they all looked like they were really enjoying themselves there. Plus, it's fun to see them all out in the parks.

You'll find information about the festival and kiosk menus here!

I nearly spit out my tea on my gradebook at this. :rotfl::lmao::worship:

I wish I lived local, I got the invite since I have TIW but darn it couldn't go down for it. Seems like a steal to me. I've decided my son and I will each get one food item and one drink from each booth and there are 13 booths. 13 x 4 = 52. Figuring an average of $5 ea. = $260 total. Now factoring in we will most likely go back and get something else (ahem drinks) we could easily spend $300. Of course, nothing beats walking around and enjoying the atmosphere and looking at all the pretty plants. Good job team.

The event was fun. I felt it was high until I was there. It was a tables in wonderland so the focus was on trying the food. The brief 10 minutes some people spoke about the history, what to expect etc was not in your face and a really nice touch coming from top executives in charge of epcot and the event. They were also readily walking around and engaging everyone. The chefs that cook everything. The background music was a soundtrack of the performers for garden rocks. The edible potted plant was a good parting gift. It was really nice and I left feeling $150 wasn't a rip off and had a great time and was really full. I will be doing it again once I move donw, although not sure I could do them on weekday afternoons but it was lunch time so I might be able to squeeze it in with work.

Probably the only thing missing was purchasing merch early, but AP had a chance to do that earlier in the week.

I wasn't excited about the brisket hash, but after this video I feel like I have to at least try it.
