Thanks! I did not have time last night to start the TR... too much to get done. But I'll be starting it tonight. This will be my first official TR... should be interesting.

thanks! its killin me but less than 17 hours and im going into work and dw has a nail apoint. at 6 so ill be in bed when she gets home. i see theres a new pair of clark sandles next to the stuff that has to go in the van. the old pair must of had some dust on the bottom of them. im gonna try to get the moment i tell her, ill be driving so ill only have one hand to do it. not to mention the new sandles have a hard bottom, im thinkin im gonna get wacked with one for not saying something sooner.

greenish chrysler t&c. plenty of room in the back. seats are folded down (so i can nap on the way home). im thinking we are going to stay over friday night around selma nc. again. we have been staying there the last 5-6 trips and it seems to be a good spot. all pending on lehigh valley traffic.

What a great day! I hope that all of you were able to show the moms in your lives how important and loved they are today. After all, we couldn't be the Dads that we are without Moms!

I have some interesting news that I learned when I was in the World. Shhhhh.... don't tell anyone this secret... but Disney is going to start changing out all their iced tea dispensers. And they are going to start serving both SWEET and unsweet iced tea!

DW and I are both sweet tea drinkers and we always find it annoying when we go to Disney and none can be found. HOWEVER... we were getting some food at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe at MK and guess what we found? Yep.... sweet tea. We briefly spoke to a CM who said Disney is going to start slowly replacing the dispensers so both could be served. Soooooo... not sure how accurate this information is, but thought I'd share it anyway. OK... back to your regular programming.........

Hey dads. I have not had a chance to get on the boards since I got back from the World. Trying to get caught up at work and home is not as easy as I was hoping it would be. We had a great time and the weather was beautiful. I had planned on putting together a trip report, but the way things are going I will probably get that done by the time we go on our next trip.

Emmas Dad and I were able to meet up while we were there. It was great meeting you!

My birthday was awesome. We were in Animal Kingdom in the morning. I checked in at the will call window and got my birthday pin and $75 gift certificate. I can not even begin to count the amount of times the CMs wished me a happy birthday. We had a TS that evening at Cape May Buffet (all you can eat clams). If you are looking for a good buffet check that out. My wife had ordered a birthday cake and suprised me with that. What I wasn't ready for was the entire restaurant singing happy birthday to me. That was pretty cool. I ended up spending my gift certificate on a beer stein in germany at EPCOT and bought my wife and kids pins of a Mickey heads that was the color of a German flag.

The fishing trip was just as good. There were four of us and we all caught alot of fish. My son got the biggest at 5lbs. We were fishing around the dock where the boat drops you off at the Magic Kingdom. That was pretty cool having people standing at the dock watching us catch fish. The trip is a little expensive but worth every penny.

I am within 2 weeks of going to WDW. We had never been to the waterparks, and we will be doing one this year. My question to all you DIS Dads is this, can anyone recommend which waterpark, BB or TL, would be better for DD 3yo and DS 1 yo? Any info will be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

I went to BB in 2007. WE LOVED THIS PARK.

I dare say it was my favorite day down there.

Teamboat Springs was an awesome family slide for 4-6 people. Pretty sizable kid play area too. And a trip or 2 around the lazy river is so relaxing.

I can't tell you which park is better...but BB was tons of fun.

...is that weird maybe to common folk but not to a Dis Dad!
