Hey Emma's Dad, I signed up on the other Board, but had to change my screen name. I requested to join as mickbert (my two sons nicknames).

I see you are heading to Disney the same time as us. Are there any other Dads heading to the World at the end of April/begining of May? I can tell you guys that I am ready now!

I have waited 4 long years to take our daughter to Disney. (My wifes excuse was always she is too young, she won't remember it). I read your list of requirements and cried laughing. My daughter and I watch the DVD almost every other day. To let you know how bad I have it we are not going until Sept. and I still get on the Disboard at least once a day.

My wife and I will be going on a much deserved vacation April 26- May 1st. It's been a long cold winter here. We have a snow storm due on Sunday to boot. Look for me I'll be a big guy that looks like Santa in a Dis shirt.

My DD woke up this morning and the first thing she asked.... "Daddy, are we going to Disney World today?" I simply replied, "No... but we can watch the DVD again this morning." Needless to say, I was eating my frosted mini wheats while watching For Kids By Kids......

hay,hay, a snow shovlin bud!! we are heading down for a week in may by ourselfs. that storm is just going to clip us but it looks like your gonna get hit again. you got to get the suit cases out, put them in your bedroom, and start packing. it makes it easier to shovel! im not leaving for 68 days and im packed!! my dw thinks im nuts!! we just went out to eat and i asked her when she was going to start packing? i want to start loading the van!!

KTME, ill be in your area this coming weekend. my dd has a dance comp at the host in lancaster. friday afternoon, all day sat and coming home sunday. i was going to bring the clubs but it looks like it going to be cold. we will be there again in april, hopefully i can get in 18. when our girls dont dance, the dance dads try to get out for a round. we love the host, food, comp, golf and didnt have to move the car!! by the time sat. afternoon rolls around the wives are asking when is our tee time!!

Well, I signed up under my name I use everywhere. That's just what I need, another place to frequent every day about Disney. Man, I can't wait till we semi-retire in 3 1/2 years. Moving to the Orlando area and will be able to go whenever we want.
In the meantime I'll just take our annual trip and come here for my daily fix.

I haven't been on this section of the forums for a while, I'm sort of a Fort Fiend, so I was catching up on the Dis Dads here. I noticed a couple of you may be down for SWW, We go down during the 2nd and third weeks of June and I see they changed the SWW and are ending it on june 14th this year, instead of all of June. Keep that in mind when making ressies. Can't wait to hit the Fort! Any other campers out there?

Not a camper anymore but will be at VWL from June 16th-19th then move to BCV until the 26th. Not a huge SWW fan but always liked it and was a bit dissapointed that they moved back into MAy like they use to be.

I think I may try to do the Segways at the Fort and will be Live Streaming as well.

Not A Dis-Dad here but I am a Dis-Mom and just wanted to let Disney Fanatic know- I loved your TR from your 2007 Holiday/Birthday trip! We are also in NC and I just have to ask- What do you do for a living? I would think that you are a writer! Your TR was so very descriptive but with so much feeling. I could also tell you all are such a loving family and I could read in your writing how much love you have for your son & wife!
We have never been on a cruise before and after your report I think that is something we should aspire to do! Our first ever Disney trip will be in April and I don't think I could be happier if our trip goes half as well as your 2007 trip did, hotdog tummy ache and all. Although we have 5 kids so I really hope we don't have any problems with tummy aches! LOL I am not sure I could handle all 5 of them feeling bad- Or even one with the rest of them to contend with at the same time! I just wanted to say Hey! To all you Dis-Dads and let Disney Fanatic know how much I enjoyed his TR! Maybe if I can ever get my DH to peruse the Disboards he will amble over this way and sign up too! He is also really excited about our upcoming trip but he is NOT a community board type- (I'm not either for that matter but I AM a Disney type) LOL
Look forward to seeing if you all are doing the 2009 Summer family Reunion trip, Disney Fanatic!

I have been watchign Winnie the Pooh for the last three weeks. The youngest keeps watching it over and over and over........I can handle the Pooh Bear a lot better then the train video that he had playing. He played that one so much that he wore out a DVD player.

After the last few days redoing the bathroom I am ready for a break. less then two months

Hopefully the snow will be gone by then and you guys can get a round in. We made out great with snow till this morning. We woke up to a dusting and then got 4 inches. I know a lot of you guys probably got hit with a lot worse. Hang in there spring is coming soon.

Hopefully you will be able to get out this weekend. If you get a chance sometime you should check out Fox Chase. It is a few miles off 222 near the Turnpike.
