We love SSR and now that they have added the THV we are even more excited about our SSR contract. SSR is a very nice resort and we have no interest in BLT, SSR to us is a better match.

I agree!! Can't wait for THV!!! :cool1:

Hey Yen Sid, (nice name btw, I can't believe no one ever took it before!!:thumbsup2 ) I read your posts on the DVC road show thread. Were you the one walking around with "Steve" after the presentation?

Also, just to let everyone know we did a 100 pt. add on at AKV last night and as an incentive we get 3 nights at THV with priority booking over everyone, so I'm guaranteed my 40th @THV now!!!

My DW says its my Christmas & birthday present. I said OK!!! I love my DW!!

My DD8 asked a CM if she could put a rope ladder over the deck of the villa to make it more like a tree house & he said that it would actually be pretty easy to do. So we'll see if we take a ladder with us in June. :lmao:

I just tried the name and it worked, my wife said there was another one and there is, I did mine with space between it. Yes, I was the one walking around with "Steve" all night, my almost 4 year old son won that and he also got the 25 AK points too. It worked out great because we are going in january, March and then Christmas time and we did not have enough points for Christmas so we were going to rent and now we don't need as many thanks to him. We go twice a year, spring time and then we alternate every year between Halloween time and Christmas time, we had a few extra developer points we had to use so my son and I are going for 4 days in january.

How did you like Saratoga Springs? They are giving matching developer points with a Bay Lake Tower purchase. If you choose the matching developer points they must be used at SSR.

Sorry I am just getting to a response. SSR was a quick two day stay right after we joined. All the resorts are different, and everyone will have an opinion about which is best, but we enjoyed our stay there very much.

You get to park right at the building you are staying in. The kids enjoyed the pool. The location is fairly convenient, and at least for our two day stay, we had pretty good success with the buses to the parks. We enjoyed the CS (Artist Pallette I think is the name) but we never tried the TS restaurant.

While we were there we never took advantage of the water craft that will take you to Downtown Disney, and actually didn't even know it was there. When we stayed at OKW, we took the boat to DTD and it stops at SSR on the way there and back, which is when we learned about it. The dock is right behind the main building where the restaurants are.

I would certainly enjoy the developer's points being used to stay there again. Fortunately when we got ours, there was no limitation where they could be used. They accounted for a lot of our previous stays. We would certainly not hesitate to stay at SSR again if we wanted to take a trip sometime and that was what was available. The appeal to us to choose AKV when we bought instead of SSR was the fact that there are five of us and a 1BR at Kidani (when it is finished) will sleep five, which obviously requires less points and extends our vacation time.

Hi there, can you add me to the list?
Too many of that list aplly to me especially #8. We got back Halloween and found a code waiting for us so my wife just booked another trip for next year. When we saw the code in our email, we looked at each other and smiled. This year, we dragged her parents and another couple with us. Next year, we are planning a trip with another family and we can't wait!
I promise if I hit a big lottery I will host a DIS Dad's Club party!

Oh yes, speaking of the list....does having the Orlando Traffic and Weather station programed in your XM stations (when you live 9 hours away) count?????:rotfl2:

Heading to NYC on the 6th so I will get a small Fix up there with the WorldOfDisney and maybe a Show (MaryPoppins) as well.

Hi everyone, I'd like to join this club!

Attended MK 1st year it opened and hooked since then!

I finally found a place where I belong. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I am fairly new to the Disboards and cam across this group, I know I belong in here with everyone else, I meet a lot of the criteria; just going through the list I would have to say I meet at least 90 of them.

Psst...sorry...I have to correct my dear dad on one thing...DD2 should be DD28, the number after most DD or DS is their age. Lol
