We'll probably see you there too, PadisFam2 - we're doing a split stay arriving on the 24th (BWV) and then switching over to AKV on the 27th, and leaving on the 2nd. We'll probably see you on the buses, if nothing else!

Very cool we will be there Oct 22-Nov2 at ASMu!

Hi...

I certainly meet many of the criteria listed. I plan all our trips and just keep my DW informed when its all set. I am also the one who is always keeping up with the postings on these boards and on the DVC site.

I'm fortunate that I moved to Florida before meeting my DW and we now can visit 5 times a year or more! We finally purchased DVC last summer and are loving every minute of it. I'm blessed with 2 DDs that are as obsessed as I am with everything Disney.

My DW has to keep me in check on speding more money for add ons to our DVC resorts.

Our kids rooms are decorated completely Disney and we have a full DVD library. I too, like to watch the movies with them. I can't wait until my girls are big enough to ride some roller coasters with me because my DW won't do it!

We currently have 3 trips booked (BCV 8/29 - 9/1), (AKV 2/13 - 2/16), (SSR 4/5 - 4/8), and looking for one more soon.

I'm new here. I feel like an alcoholic returning to a bar. Our last trip was in 2006 and I've been trying to limit my Disney planning since then. We had been going every 18 months or so for a stretch before that and were starting to feel like we were limiting ourselves so we started branching out with vacations to Boston, Washington D.C., Lake Georege, NY, Williamsburg, Jamaica as well as Ski trips and the like. My problem is that when I go to Disney I love to do it BIG. I love t do Concierge, Behind the Scenes tours, extra recreation so I usually blow our vacation budget. The thing is, and people are incredulous when I say this, there is no family vacation that is more relaxing than a Disney Vacation. The kids are happy the whole time, my wife is content and I feel like I'm a kid again. So... the minute my wife said m"maybe we should go to Disney again, I had fofour different guidebooks out and was on three different websites to once again plan the perfect trip. Even though we're goingit eight months from now, it's all I can think about. I'm constantly thinking, "Where should we eat? How much time do we have to spend in each park? I wonder whch days will be EMH in which parks. What attractions are the boys getting too old for? You get the idea.

All of this, so I can ask if I can join this thread because i've finally found like minded Dad's who share my obsession.

Welcome Dads! I love hearing the new stories of Dad's that are fanatical about Disney and seeing their families happy. For so long I was made to feel like I was weird or different for being so Gung-Ho about WDW. Once again welcome to the club!

Wanted to let you know I'll be in the World in about 27 hours!!! Any else going this week???

Have a magical trip! No WDW countdown ticker for me yet but I'm feeling the itch! Pretty soon I am going to have to scratch!

Hello all!!! I haven't been on in a while. Work Work Work You know how that is.... But had to get back on and say what's up to the club. WDW is calling me!!! and it's only about 19 days away Starting to get that feeling back!!! I try not to get excited because it usually takes forever to get here, but this one has came quick and I can't wait I hope to bring back some pics or something from the time we'll spend there but it won't be a nice as the trip reports I've seen on here. Those are great!!! and I don't think I could live up to that But all is well and I hope all the dad's out there are blessed. Till next time........

I was just watching the Magic this morning, as she was in the first set of locks on the south end of the panama canal. she will be in transit all day I should be able to see her again around 5:30 or 6:00 at the north end the Gatin locks
and there is a great slide show of her first passage in 2005

Fay has finally moved away from us and we're starting to dry out some--just in time for Labor Day Weekend

Hoping to get out some this weekend after being cooped up last week...

Thought I'd post some pics of the little guy...Growing like a weed and learning new stuff everyday...Man, what a blast it's been watching him and playing with him---just watching him grow...

OMG this crew fits me to a T. I'll be heading to the WORLD in 15 days. I totally blame my parents for my Disney addiction and I wouldnt change it for anything. This will be my 18th time at WDW and i know there are many more to come.

I already complete phaze one:Get my wife addicted.

Now for phaze 2 muahahahahahaha.

My lil girl (almost 2 yrs old and now 3rd generation Disney fan) will have her 1st WDW trip. I've been training her well. Her whole room is Disney and knows who is who. All our meals are charecter themed just for her. Im just so pumped that i get to show her the awsomeness of what the WORLD has to offer. I know she wont remember much, but hey there's always next year lol.

do any Dis Dads have special things they do with thier kids only at WDW? My boys and I have a guys only dinner/sports night at ESPN, and my DD and I take one night for a special dinner and shopping. It makes them all enjoy just having a night with just dad, and I wouldn't miss it for the world.
