Yes, Happy "Early" Father's Day to all my fellow DIS Dad's Club members.
Sunday will be quite hectic so I probably won't be able to tell you all then. I am a Scoutmaster for a Boy Scout Troop and we leave Sunday morning for Summer Camp. I won't be staying until later in the week, but I have to help take the boys up to camp and get them all checked in. It is going to be tough leaving two of my own behind on Father's Day, but the rest of the week will be great getting to spend quality time together!
That is so Cool.
DD just had her report card show up 3-A+'s and 4-A's Just couldn't be any prouder for her 1st year in HS
Actually, I will get to spend time with all three of my boys. I have a "graduated" Eagle Scout who was our SPL last year this time, before he turned 18. He is going to ride with me Sunday and help everyone get settled (I think it finally hit him he doesn't get to have that fun he is used to every year). I have a Life Scout and an Arrow of Light/Webelos II that just crossed over to the troop that will be attending camp for the first time with the troop. We will all be together until DESS and I return home Sunday evening.I had a similar experience last year... we ended up "doing" Father's Day on Saturday. Then my son and I had to be at the HS parking lot at 9 in the AM on FD to put all of the gear into the trailers and then head off to scout camp for the week. Thankfully this year we aren't leaving until NEXT Sunday - so I get to spend FD with all 3 of my kids this year!I've got a 1st Class scout and a Webelo1 - so I get to do camp twice this summer, this month and next.

We are going to have a 3 generation family get together with my dad this weekend.
I hope everyone has a great dad's day.
That's very cool, too - enjoy it! We don't get too many of those with the folks living out west. I hope your day is fantastic!

It's good to know there are others like me out there. I'm a Disney nut and it's all my dad's fault. He is no longer with me but I have lots of memories I share with my 2 little ones.
I get to spend Father's Day tomorrow with my 7 yr old daughter fund raising for her all-star softball team. They are having a pancake breakfast and the team is waiting the tables. I could not think of a better way to spend tomorrow morning. I am one of her coaches and it feels like I have 12 little ones and couldn't be more proud of each and everyone of them.
