This is good to hear :thumbsup2

... all seven were born on the 4th of the month, two share Oct. 4th(different years)

That's my birthday! pirate:

Mornin' guys - I hope you all had a great weekend! I just got my DIS green mickey ears from Home Depot - gonna add them to my shelf here in the office til the next time I get to a D park (couple more weeks) ...but I couldn't stop there, I had to get many of the other colors too, just for fun!

MIL has been here for a few days - so we've been doing various things the past week. Today we head down to the Childrens Museum in downtowny Indy. The fam will go at opening, and I'll join them around lunch (have a conf. call this morning I couldn't miss). They have a really cool Star Wars exhibit there that we all love, including a full size Darth Maul... for some strange reason DD4 loves that part. DW thought she'd be scared of his face, but nope, she thinks he's COOL.

:lmao: I'm sure this has happened to many of you with DD's, but yesterday I cut myself while slicing a veggie, pretty bad too, and I needed a band-aid (sorry, not your favorite type of band-aid, Chill ;) ) - and DD ran to get me one, and brings me one of her Strawberry Shortcake ones... then when it's on, she tells me how pretty I am. I was dying of laughter, but at the same time thought it was so sweet. Now understand, NOBODY gets to use those SS bandaids but her, as she so adamantly told us all when she opened the box for the first time a few weeks ago (part of a b-day gift from grandma). It just melted my heart. :flower3: Sigh, she's growing so fast.

Have a great day, DADS - and be sure to give your kids another hug!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Verandah Man!

I am hoping my daughter holds off until at least Wednesday we have contractors working at the house tomorrow, and I have 2 important meetings on Tuesday, good deals for me.:thumbsup2

I'll be hoping with you!

There was a guy I went to school with, he and his wife had 7 children, all seven were born on the 4th of the month, two share Oct. 4th(different years), the other 5 on different months, but all on the 4th of the month. When child #6 was born, this couple made the local news, they THOUGHT that was going to be the last child, but surprise #7 came along two years later.......

That is simply amazing! I only have one DD... and she was born just in time for a tax break that year - December 31st!! :lmao:

Doh! I only have 7 days left! I gotta get over to HD and get my ears!

I'm really glad you shared that story with us, stopher1 :goodvibes I love it when my DD blesses me with one of her Barbie bandaid for those "emergency" situations

I can't wait to get my "Flying Emma" hug when I get home tonight! The "Flying Emma" occurs as Daddy (AKA, me :) ) enters through the front door. DD (AKA, Emma) hears the front door and commences to engage afterburners (AKA, bare feet on floor) straight for Daddy as she is yelling "Daddy!" as loudly as possible. At the last second she pulls up and trustingly launches her body into the air to land safely into my arms! I will surely miss these times when she gets older!

I can't wait to experience that for myself.:cool1:

that's some good stuff!

I grabbed a handful of extra alien green ears the other day. I was hoping the goofy color was on an ears sample but...

Hello :wave2:

We've had a busy month around here. Been doing home improvements. We've managed to completely redo 2 of the kids rooms from ceiling to flooring. We also did the hall and entry from ceiling to floor. The appraiser came today as we are in the process of refinancing the house. Here are a few photos

Very nice remodeling! Question - Is that wall paper or faux paint in the hallway?

Nice Tundra :thumbsup2 I see the priorities when it arrived... the car seat... license plate... then the hitch cover. Very nice :cool1:

The wall is faux painting. Lots of work for DW :goodvibes It took her 2 days to do the hall and entry. I do not have the skill to pull of that technique.

The plate is actually a little thing we added in photoimpact. Too many letter for a VT vanity plate, but I couldn't resist adding it. The car seat and hitch cover are very real though

You tell your DW that I said she did an awesome job! I've done a few faux walls, and it is NOT easy. I've even told my DW that faux walls are no longer optional wall coverings :rotfl2:

I thought I smelled a hint of photo-chop in the picture... but I didn't have it in me to assume :rolleyes1 Sure would be a cool plate :goodvibes

I LOVE those... I got a great big one today when I arrived at the Childrens Museum just in time for lunch with them... she came running so hard - followed by DS9 too! It was great! :thumbsup2

Nice to see you're getting back online Fed. Hopefully you're getting all settled back in to "regular" life.

I'd like to join the club! I've been to Disney and am going back in December to stay at the Contempo for the first time. I was even lucky to get an MK view!! I totally fall into all the criteria. I'm even luck enough to have an HM 13 clock keeping time in my office. Does anybody remember the small attraction postcards Costco gave out for the 50th? I have them framed and on the walls in my office. See everyone later on the boards!!
That is an awesome signature that you have! :welcome: to the club!!!
