I'm about to book a Disney Christmas holiday land/sea package for a client. Six adults (parents and four adult children) and a teenager. Grand total for the package is just over $30,000!! :scared1:

:cool1::woohoo::cool1::woohoo::cool1::woohoo:
Wow!!! I think I could have some fun at Disney World with a $30,000 :thumbsup2 budget...

As well as he has been playing, not sure you want to be stuck with Painter as your QB of the future... And don't talk to me about crappy defenses! We need Brady to put up 400 yds/game in order to eek out a W! :rotfl:
Well, passing teams are running the ball against the Colts... not because they want to keep Peyton off the field, but because they can. And then once they get bored doing that, they just burn one of the corners deep for a TD. Basically the Defense is Angerer, Freeney and Mathis with 8 other guys standing around in awe of their greatness.

I can confirm the prices of alcohol here are riiiidiculous. It's all government controlled and regulated, and you can only buy it at 1 store. That's why a bi-annual trip to Buffalo is in order. Something I will pay $60 for here, would be $22 there.
Isn't that bootlegging?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say "a very wealthy person".
That's quite a limb you've climbed out on. Got any evidence to back it up? :rotfl2:

Will be praying for your family, best of luck with your dad.

So angry. And here I thought you'd be getting all geared up for the Andrew Luck era to start next year... :confused3

We will win a couple of games and lose out to someone else. :lmao:

I am not sure Peyton is very excited about the prospect of his heir apparent being drafted. Especially since Mr. Irsay said he would pull the trigger if that scenario happens.

WTB!!!

Congrats!!! :thumbsup2

That's why he crosses the border in the General Lee.

Boy, them Duke boys are sure in a heap of trouble...except instead of Roscoe, we had Sgt Cam Wooley of the OPP...:rotfl2:

Will be praying for your family, best of luck with your dad.

Much thanks..I just talked to him, and said he sat in an easy chair and watched TV...Me: Oh, so like home, but not a couch..:rotfl2:

He has a "baby bottle" with the chemo that he carries for the weekend, he'll hae at the game, I told him I hope he doesn't get mistaken for a Canadiens fan as a result:rotfl2:

That would be awesome for you guys. If Luck had 2-3 years under Manning to learn the ropes, you'd have a Favre/Rodgers scenario on your hands (only better)... Probably worth one season of losing to get the future 10-15 years set up nicely...

I hope nobody gets mistaken for a Canadiens fan!!! That's the worst! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

:scared1:

Steve, you can get him to back off by giving him simple facts. In the 18th century, the Choctaw Indians largely subsisted on vegetarian diets. Every single one of them died. In fact, the death rate among vegetarians is 100%.

On a related note, I saw this posted yesterday and thought if anyone would appreciate it, it would be you guys:

Boston Bruins

Good day gentlemen, hope things are going well or better for eveyone. Had another of those weeks where I couldn't keep up with the board.:lmao: I've battled the flu this week, and survived a quarterly meeting with the district and regional managers (I'm the only non-management staffer who has to attend, thanks to being the H&S rep)

Welcome to any new members, and prayers to any that needs it.

I did read most of the bourbon ideas, and am leaning to that last bottle of Maker's Mark 46. The Booker's is priced a bit out of my league. Twokids can attest to the price of alcohol in Ontario is way too high sometimes:scared1:
Waiting to hear from Dad, today was FINALLY the first day of chemo, and it sounds to be an ongoing process too for a while. They've sound spots on the lungs, BUT he said they've been there for years, (possible scarring from the past, he used to smoke ages ago, and god knows what he's inhaled from 30 years on the fire dept), nd they hope that the chemo and meds will curtail/fight the liver issues, but will not operate further. This though will be interesting. I know everyone reacts different from the treatment, but he believes he is going to be good to go to the Majors game tonight:confused3 I am not putting bets down though. I'll see him later to hook up his bedroom tv for the winter, and get the tixs anywho.
thanks for the welcome and hope your father many pixies for a quick recovery:wizard:

Get to go to another gift auction tomorrow night:cool1: As far as I know this one does not have any Dis tics or trips (but one never knows:confused3) I'm after a few things that I know of at this one, Platers for 20 from Chick Filet, a weekend at a Bed & Breakfast, $1000 Visa Gift Card (could trun this into something Disney:confused3), and being this is at a church the 50/50:yay: (again can turn this into something Disney:woohoo:)

Our Union contract runs out tomorrow, the companies filed for a 2 week extension:scared1: I was kind of hoping to be on strike so we could get another VA weekend in before Holloween:confused3, I'd be surprised if any kind of strike occurs, In 24 years we only went on strike once, Our Union covers most of the supermarkets in 1/2 of NJ and some of NY, everyone has to eat so it gets takin care of pretty quick:woohoo:

That's what they say every contract:scared1:, I'm now what they call a Short Timer, since I have most of my years of service in, (got a little over 6yrs for the 30 mark:woohoo:) When the last contract came out they changed the 30 and out to 30 years & 55yrs old, I could have been out of there at 49 ( still trying to go that route:woohoo:) you would think they would want you to leave after 30yrs to save money, but i guess it's not the case:confused3

late-night check in.

Been a super busy day. Of course I waited until the very last minute to put together my application for the MP that needed to be submitted at 11:59pm ET. And of course I couldn't just talk straight into a camera for the video portion. I had to spend the what little free time I had this morning and afternoon editing together a slideshow to play in my TV that would be over my shoulder in the frame.

So while I was recording my idiotic self on video, my camcorder decided to act up. I had stopped down to check a take I did and when I flipped it back to record mode, I was getting a double-image. I power-cycled, changed all the settings, but couldn't get rid of it. Wasn't just the viewfinder or screen, it was recording like that too. I was starting to think I would need to use DW's flip cam or my phone...but I decided to let the camera rest. So I went out to dinner and when I came back it was working again... for a while. Same thing happened. Played back a clip and when I flip back into record mode, there's the double image. UGH!!! So i set it down, and keep checking back. Finally, it was working again and I decided not to check any takes, and to just keep recording until I got one I liked, and then get at least one more safety after that. That took me up until about 8pm.

I then had to help put kids to bed, and DW decided DD's room needed a complete cleaning. So I had to assist, and then somehow when the phone rang it became just me doing it.... finished it up and got DD to bed, it was9:30pm

I spent the next two hours wording and re-wording my responses to the written questions, stopping every so often to look at the videos and narrow down those. At 11:30, I had selected the least horrible video, trimmed it, and converted it to an acceptable format and file size. At 11:45, I was about to hit "submit" when I decided to change a sentence in one of my answers. By the time I finished re-working that one, it was 11:54!!! I quickly copy and pasted the answers into Word to get back-up on spelling and grammar. Then I gave one last read through, and hit submit! 11:56! and then the "file uploading bar" appeared!! :scared1:

Thankfully, the file uploaded in just about 20 seconds. I was taken to a confirmation page and I got a confirmation email... So... I made it!! with about 2 1/2 minutes to spare! :lmao::rotfl2:

A funny thing about seeing myself on video... with my left ear sticking out a little more since the surgery, and my left eye appearing to be partially closed by the facial tics/spasms I am still having... I looked a lot like Sloth from The Goonies!! :rotfl2::lmao:

sloth1-300x261.jpg

Sadly, I don't own the movie or else I would pop it in the DVD player and watch right now!

Morning guys :surfweb:

Brent, we will pray for your father :grouphug:

DD woke up at 4 this morning with a fever and slight vomiting. When ever she has a fever she does this. Heading to the immediate care at 8 this morning so they can check her throat. Wish us luck.
