Well sound's like I need to try Tim Hortons out. I'm really weird about coffee. It has to be really good either really good or really bad for me to notice a substantial difference. We have a local place here that roasts there own beans on premise. It is the smoothest coffee you'll ever drink.

Been raining last 2 hours non stop. Since the room is not ready, we looked around CR and checked out BLT, rode the Monorail resort loop and off at TTC the 2nd time. Then, monorail to Epcot. That is so cool - flying over Epcot in the monorail. Now, on the bus to OKW to bus to DTD for some spending. Time to earn some more Disney rewards dollars with Visa. It is supposed to rain for next 48 hours.

Good Saturday Morning. Just checking in before heading off to work. I wish I could join the debate over who serves a better cup of coffee, but I've never had a cup of coffee in my life.

That said, if you ever want to debate Coke vs. Pepsi, or other soft drinks. Name the time and place, and i'll show up.

I survived and I am able to type!! Main coronary arteries are open!! Thank sof the prayers...there are some blockages in the "micro vessels" and he said that ws common with diabetics and he put me on a medication for the chest "ache" I refuse to call it a pain! They did not give me much medication so I was able to lie there and watch everything and remember it....I was able to see for myself how widley patent everything was! Having it done through the right radial artery was a breeze!!!

No debate. Coke easily beats Pepsi. Now, if you want to debate beers, I'm up for that. We could debate bourbon, but there is no debate. KY has all 4 seasons, which allows barrels to constrict and expand. Which KY Bourbon is the best may be a choice, but I'll take Maker's Mark.

The Disney Visa is smokin'. My phone was blowing up with alerts as well from Chase. I better raise those limits. I bought some new pins, DW clothes, and dds toys. I'm going to get to monorail to go along with castle and Epcot ball for our home. Don't tell DW. She doesn't know yet. Both dds are asleep on the bus ride from DTD back to BLT. Our room is ready!

Good Afternoon Dads....

Well, I'm finally home from Sin City. The conference was good, but the nights out were much better!

I'm not going to backtrack and read 15+ pages of what I missed, so I'll just say this:

Welcome to any new Dads.

For those Dads who are in need of prayer/support, you have mine.

For those Dads who happen to be at WDW - I hope it rains every day! JK - Have fun and make sure to post some pics so we can be even more jealous!

It's been raining 6 straight hours now at WDW. I finished unloading the van - 2 suitcases, 2 cases of water, 6 grocery bags, and a 12 pack of beer. Time to start enjoying my vacation. BTW, the view from the 10th floor at BLY is amazing. So, what we need now is for all 600+ DisDads to go out on the Dis and trash BLT in other threads to make sure we can get first dibs. WOW!

Sorry to hear it's raining! But, I'd rather be at a raining WDW than a sunny day home any day!

Oh - and I forgot to mention....during my trip in Vegas I remember waking up and thinking about what table service meal I was having that day and where I was going for my quick service! (Had WDW on the Brain!)

I also saw signs for "Jasmine" and thought of all of you guys. It turned out to be a restaurant! Darn it!

We also stopped at the Coke store on the strip. They had a bunch of different sodas from around the world just like Club Cool. And yes, they had Beverly! And no, I didn't try it.

They are very different.

It's like comparing Dunkin' Donuts to Starbucks.

I agree Second Cup is great, and so is Timothy's. More for the bolder coffee's later in the day.

But you still need a Tim's fix in the morning.

Tim's is good is nothing else is around. DW is a huge Timmies fan, in fact Tim's gift cards are her most popular gift from her middle school students at Christmas and the end of the year.

I will take them over Dunkin Donuts any day and I'll put there donuts up against the rest as well.

I will try to upload some pictures while I am here. I've got to figure out how to upload pics from my phone to my netbook. Sorry, I do not have a webcam. A lot of people have been complaining about BLT - shoddy workmanship, no theming, rooms sizes too small, etc. But, I am really enjoying this. The room is smaller than OKW, but it works. The kitchen is its own area, with many space saving inventions. I found a strip of molding removed from the inside of the bathroom door mirror, but that is really about it. BLT does not have the restaurants, but it's a short walk over to the CR. As for the theming, I agree that AKL really works with the park so nearby, but I like the way CR and BLT look.

And, not to be deterred by the rain, the dds and I went swimming. We were the only ones at the pool and I'm sure all thought we were nuts. It was cold with the rain, but after 30 minutes and some water sliding, we warmed up in the hot tub.

$95 for breakfast for 4 at Chef Mickey and the only thing good, beside the fruit, was the sweet roll and child breakfast bacon, egg, and cheese pizza. But, meal was courtesy Disney Visa Rewards, so I am ahead for now. Lots of great pictures and memories, so no complaints.

I like the breakfast buffet at Crystal Palace much better and I hear Boma is the best. But, like you said, if you didn't have to pay then there's not too much room for complaints.
