I survived and I am able to type!!:banana: Main coronary arteries are open!!:cool1::cool1: Thank sof the prayers...there are some blockages in the "micro vessels" and he said that ws common with diabetics and he put me on a medication for the chest "ache" I refuse to call it a pain!:) They did not give me much medication so I was able to lie there and watch everything and remember it....I was able to see for myself how widley patent everything was! Having it done through the right radial artery was a breeze!!!

I am glad to hear you are ok. I think the chest ache might be from not enough bacon :confused3 just sayin

Call me un-Canadian but I prefer Second Cup over Timmies.

They are very different.

It's like comparing Dunkin' Donuts to Starbucks.

I agree Second Cup is great, and so is Timothy's. More for the bolder coffee's later in the day.

But you still need a Tim's fix in the morning.

First of all.... CRUD!

Work's been a Beverly this week, but at least its the weekend.

I scanned through the last 10 pages or so and from memory:

Don: Prayers to your family and the family of the little girl. :grouphug:

Steve: Prayers to you, and it looks like they worked. Hope the "ache" feels better soon. :grouphug:

Stpoher: Prayers to your family. :grouphug:

Brian: Nice job on 5000. Of course I've been a member here for over 6 years and I still haven't hit 1000 so apparently I'm less of an expert than you. :rotfl2:

Dave: Love seeing the pics, even if there is an over abundance of palm trees. :rotfl2:

For those of you on their way down to WDW have fun! For those who need prayers, they are offered, for those who had milestones, congrats and for those who had bacon, I'm jealous. :rotfl2:

If you ever swing by T.O., I request a DISdad's meet, and I will by you a coffee. You got to order a double double (It's Canadian lingo that you will understand once you get here, eh)

Double, double? :crazy2: That's like drinking motor oil! Way too think. I prefer my coffee strong and bitter, just like my women. :rotfl2:

I knew it... we have a fake Canadian among us. He's really a Newfie in Canadian's clothing. :rotfl2:

Hooray! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Amazing that they can do that! Did they need to do a test for collateral circulation through the ulnar artery before? And they sent you home already? Incredible!

Yeah he did something to make sure that the radial artery was going to be able to be used. I cant recall the name of that test though. I was at the hospital by 7am in the cath lab by 8:45 back in the room by 9:30 and discharged at 11:30 and eating Mexican by noon :rotfl2::lmao: Now, I am home with a pressure bandage on my wrist until tomorrow morning and have no limitations on what I am able to do other than lifting or pushing anything over 10 pounds until next Friday. I am thinking of using my time off to paint the dining room next week. :rotfl2:

Wow... What an ending... Sorry to the Philly fans here, but what a game!

Hope Howard's ok... Swung out of his shorts there, looked bad for that leg...

Steve, Glad to hear all went well:banana:

It's the only request of our friend who come down and stay, BRING TIMMIES!

In Michigan, when they opened the first Tim Horton's in the US, the three Dunkin Donuts within 4 miles of it closed down within 6 months.

I know it sounds like "fightin' words" :) But as you see from Randy's response, it really is true. I can't explain it, but Tim Horton's is a phenomenon in Canada, it unites the country, it's java goodness. It is one of the main reason's many Canadians would never move.

To help you understand this, next time you are in Epcot ask any of the CM's in Canada about Tim's.

If you ever swing by T.O., I request a DISdad's meet, and I will by you a coffee. You got to order a double double (It's Canadian lingo that you will understand once you get here, eh)

Well sound's like I need to try Tim Hortons out. I'm really weird about coffee. It has to be really good either really good or really bad for me to notice a substantial difference. We have a local place here that roasts there own beans on premise. It is the smoothest coffee you'll ever drink.

Krispy Kreme is almost as overrated as In N Out Burger.

Bring it!

:lmao:

Well played. They may both be overrated but I find them both delicious.

The van is packed, including the kitchen sink, and we are ready to go as soon as dds get home from school.

Can't you just get a new one at Beaches and Cream??:confused3:rotfl2:

Wow! Them's fighting words. At least you didn't insult Krispy Kreme. If you can resist the "hot and now" sign you're a stronger man than me. I'm pretty weak though so that's not really much of an accomplishment.

Krispy Kreme made a big splash when it first came up here, but fizzled quick, most closed. It went from HUGE lines to just drive up and go..

Good to hear you're all right!

Happy Saturday guys :cool1:

We are off to the Indy Children's Museum to see the new frogs from around the world exhibit.

Anyone heard from Cap'n? I hope he is ok after that Phillies game :scared1:

Yeah! Time for extra bacon.

$95 for breakfast for 4 at Chef Mickey and the only thing good, beside the fruit, was the sweet roll and child breakfast bacon, egg, and cheese pizza. But, meal was courtesy Disney Visa Rewards, so I am ahead for now. Lots of great pictures and memories, so no complaints.

Morning all!

Quiet day today, heading out to Lowes with DS to build the kids project this morning then nothing scheduled except making apple zucchini bread.

I hear the hammock calling my name this afternoon.:music:
