we are baclk at okw!!!! were (tammy) is getting old, cant run around all day anymore! we hopped the bus this morning for rope drop at hoolywood. i sent don a pic from my phone of the opening crowd. the crowds have thinned out since this weekend. we got on tsm again and just walked around. tammy realy cant go on many of the "thrill" rides. not a good idea with swelling going on in the brain. there was no line for star wars at all. we did some shopping and headed out. we took a bus to the contemp. went into the shops at the contemp. and tammy wanted to have lunch at the contempo for old time sake. we both had a salad and shared a pizza. from there we did the loop. visited all the hotels on the monorail loop. we got off at the mk stop and hopped a bus back to okw. we took a short nap than we drove over to boardwalk. again, did some shopping nd just sat on a bench at the board walk for a while. there hasnt been a cloud in the skies for about 3 days now! than it was off to epcot, we had a 5pm in italy at tuttos. great food!!!! we got to our table at 4:35. from there we walked over to figment than back to the international gateway. again, found a bench!! walked over to the beach club and did again, yet more shopping. from there, we walked to the car and back here to okw!! tomorrow is mk in the am and back again in the pm. we have an adr at 7:30 at liberty tree! i hope we make it that long. anyway, it was a fun easy going day today in the sun.!!

I've got a True Value that's a quick run for those "oops" parts too, but it is closed on Sunday and closes at noon on Saturday... It seems like I'm usually saying "oops" at about 12:05 on Saturday afternoon.

Luckily mine is open until 6 on Sat and 5 on Sunday. Menards is on the other side of town, but they're open until 9. And when all else fails, WalMart is open 24 hours - but you've got to be desperate to need something from their hardware department.

Reservations aren't needed. You buy a day pass which is $16 per person. They do limit the number of passes they sell per day, but I haven't ever heard of them selling out.

I'm intrigued! Back to your TR to re-read about the rain forrest room...

What the Beverly? How would that be relaxing? I'd be worrying DW catching me check out the hot girl masseuse.

Never had "less problems than I planned on." Wonder what that is like. I would have popped a beer and celebrated. You are a better man than I am Gunga Din. Just got done with our kitchen but because I have no building talent, all I did was demo and caulk and paint. Believe me, not less stressful at all. I feel your pain.

Good luck with the continued construction and the birthday parties. As mentioned, not a lot of planning on the cruise needed other than excursions and Palo reservations. Great way to decompress. Nothing wrong with taking a nap or two.

Last month as many of you might know I was able to score 23 of the 25 Transportation Cards (2 are unavailable, been pulled from the set)

After doing some homework & searching, I am Happy to say the 2 cards that we needed to complete the set arrived today

All right guys, Im open to suggestions here. My youngest daughter, 5, is in a kindergarten/1st grade merger class. We got her mid term report card yesterday, and it looks like my checking account. Alot more minuses than pluses. She doesn't listen in class, doesn't follow directions, doesnt use materials well, and almost always comes home with a frowny face in her binder. We have tried taking away the tv, video games, and computer in the past. I think most of the problems stem from the fact that she is extremely intelligent for her age (she's started reading at 3, and her reading comp now is at a 2nd grade level). She knows all of her letters, numbers, colors, and shapes, and most of those she knows in English and Spanish. The teacher cant give her more work, as we have asked for that already. We told her yesterday that unless she improves, then she will not be allowed to Trick or Treat for Halloween.

Any one have any ideas?

No, other than she doesn't like school. We have spoken with the teacher, and no one is bullying or picking on her or the like. As far as we can tell, she just doesn't want to listen or follow the rules.

This just popped into my head, play school with her. She would be the teacher and everyone elses are students. See what she comes up with and where she goes with it. If you want, someone could be the bad student who doesn't listen or follow the rules.
