Lion King in BluRay and 3D BluRay - Who's buying it today? I am heading out in 10 mins to pick up my copy!

I thought about picking it up at lunch time, but I'm not going to be able to watch tonight anyway. I'll get it eventually.

You can get a $5 off coupon online Lion King Coupon

The best deal in our area is at Toys R' Us - they have the 4 disc Blu-Ray 3d with Digital Copy for $27.99 before the $5 coupon.

That's pretty cool. Given the popularity of some of the disney ipod/ipad cases it's not surprising that apple went in that direction.

Well, he said if he didn't come back in 2 hours to look for him. He's probably in a bacon induced coma somewhere.

best coma ever!

Mark, I replied on the podcast board.

So, after school, DD went to the mall to look at Homecoming dresses and to give moral support to a friend that was applying for a job. No big deal, I would pick her up at the mall and we would have dinner at Fridays.

We are seated and she hands me a package. Aww, thats nice. My daughter bought me something because I am such a great dad. She gives it to me and says, "Happy Birthday." Totally forgot it was my birthday today.

To top it off, the waitress asked me for ID when I ordered a drink. My response was, "Really?" She said yes, really. I handed my DL over and commented that I was probably older than her parents. She took one look at it and said I was right.

The best thing though is DD bought a dress and it was only $20.

I am mentioning it here not just because I thought it was funny but Stopher and I share the same birthday. So if you see this, Happy Birthday Christopher.

I spent the day at Disneyland yesterday with my kids. DW decided not to go with us. Her dad is going down hill FAST. He'll probably be gone within the next week, we're not sure. So I've been playing "distraction" with the kids. We've hit the beach a lot, the park, out to dinner, out to lunch, Disneyland... it's been fun, but very tiring too. I kept meaning to upload some pics to twitter, which then autofeeds to my FB, but I just never did. We did Star Tours 3x, hit all 4 of the mountains (yes, for those who have never been to DL, it's not just a "triple mountain whammy"... but rather a "quad mountain" with the inclusion of the original iron roller coaster - the Matterhorn Bobsleds"). We enjoyed the halloween overlays at Haunted Mansion (Haunted Mansion Holiday) and Space Mountain (Ghost Galaxy), and DD got to meet both Rapunzel & Flynn Rider in their meet & greet location in Fantasyland. We enjoyed lots of fun stuff as the crowd was relatively light. The longest wait we had was 35 minutes. We hopped back and forth between DL and DCA and also enjoyed Toy Story Midway Mania and the Little Mermaid ride, as well as other stuff. Enjoyed World of Color last night. Had ice cream sundaes for dinner... it was great. (My kids were dumbfounded by my doing that :lmao: - it was such fun to see their faces when they realized I was serious!)

Today is a relatively quiet day as I sit here on my FIL's patio overlooking the ocean. It was raining this morning, but the sun has come out and the water is just sparkling. DW and the kids are planning to take me out for dinner to celebrate my birthday.

I hope you all are doing well.

T-minus 5 hours or so until I'm leaving on a jet plane to Vegas!

For a conference....:gasp:

So I may be away from the boards until Saturday or so....

Try not to miss me too much....I know it will be hard! :rotfl:

Bring out the drinks and snacks...he's gone :lmao:

So I'm sitting in my office this morning, minding my own business. And then, all of a sudden, I smell....bacon. I don't know who is cooking bacon in the middle of an office building, but I'm going on an expedition to find out.

If you don't hear from me in 2 hours, assume that I got lost. Send in a rescue team with pie.

Red alert, we have a bacon starved badger fan on the loose. Lock your children in the house!!

The best burger I ever had was at the Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay. It was Kobe Beef.

I had a Kobe beef burger once....It almost turned me vegetarian because nothing else would be that good :thumbsup2

this is what was for breakfast this morning!!

Happy B-day Stopher and CJ

Hey gang. I've been a little MIA on this thread. I need to get caught up but I just wanted to say hello. I hope everyone is doing well.

At the end of last week I was feeling the best that I had since the surgery, but over the last few days, the headaches, dizziness, and nausea have come back again. I am thinking that this may be a good thing? perhaps this is side effects to my ear healing. I have gotten some of the feeling back in my ear, and loud noises are bothering me which might mean my hearing is coming back? :confused3

DW has run out of sympathy for me.

When I have been on the DIS the last few days, I've found myself sucked into some of the discussions going on outside of our little bacon-lined sanctuary. I am so glad none of that ridiculousness goes on in here. :thumbsup2

I keep telling myself to check the birthday post so I can wish the birthday boy a happy birthday, and every day I forget.

Happy Birthday Christopher and CJ, I hope that the coming years is better for both of you than the last was.
