I am watching it next weekend.

My buddie bought the blu ray this weekend.

He is lending me his copy next weekend, and I will lend him my Lion King Blu Ray that I am going to buy Tuesday.

I don't want to ruin it for you, but the girl in Transformers is way hotter than the one in Lion King.

good morning all!!! its off to the castle this morning to eat breakfast.:thumbsup2 i have a feeling we may be the only two there with no kids in tow.:lmao: are adr is for 8:30. we eat in canada tonight at 5:30. hopefully the crowds will go back to normal today at the mk. :lmao: my extra park maps are going fast, i only have a few more, i wish i could have gotten more but the place was nuts. ive been there both christmas and easter mornings and never seen anything like that before in my life. i was talking to some people on the bus about the holloween party on friday night and they said it was packed. they waited 45 min. to ride peter pan. they say a limited ticket event but we also hit a hollo and a christmas party already that was very full. more full than what you find on a reg. park day. anyway, we are off early, talk to you guys soon!:thumbsup2

IN CLOSING FOR TODAY. I HAVE TO ADMIT, IM NOT TO SENTIMENTAL, I GENERALY LOOK AHEAD. ALL THE TRIPS AND ALL THE YEARS I NEVER THOUGHT TO MUCH ABOUT ANYTHING BUT TODAY, STANDING WAITING FOR THE GATES TO OPEN AND THE ROPE DROP SHOW, I WAS THINKING THIS PLACE WAS ONLY 2 YEARS OLD THE FIRST TIME I WAS HERE. ALOT HAS CHANGED. I BASICLY GREW UP HERE. I STILL REMEMBER SITTING ON THE CURB IN FRONT OF THE CONFECTIONARY WAITING FOR THE ELECTRIC LIGHT PARADE AND MY DAD TELLING ME TO LOOK AROUND, YOULL NEVER KNOW WHEN YOULL BE HERE AGAIN. MY MOM BREAKING A DENTURE ON A FROZEN BANANA. BY BROTHER WHO PASSED AWAY SLEEPING IN THE CAR OUT BY THE MAIN GATE WAITING TO GET IN BECAUSE THE PARK WAS FULL TO CAPACITY. COMING DOWN WITH JUST MY DAD AFTER MY MOM PASSED. COMING DOWN THE NEXT YEAR ON MY HONEYMOON AFTER MY DAD PASSED. BRINGING BRIANA DOWN WHEN SHE WAS 9 MONTH OLD AND 24 MORE TIMES AFTER THAT.SEEING THAT SHE HAS THE SAME MEMORIES AS I WAS GIVIN, AND NOW STANDING INFRONT OF THE TRAIN STATION, JUST ME AND TAMMY (AND 50,000 OTHER PEOPLE) WAITING FOR THE GATES TO OPEN AGAIN. ALOT OF TIME AND MEMORIES ARE HERE, WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY. GOOD THING I HAD SUN GLASS'S ON IM SURE MY EYES WERE RED. :rotfl: BUT ALL GOOD THING. I WISH I COULD GO BACK AND DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN BUT I CANT. SO , LOOKING FORWARD TO THE 40 YEARS AND MORE MEMORIES!! :thumbsup2

Well said Dave, well said!

Well said. Heck, I get chill bumps the size of mountains just walking through the gates. I can only imagine what it would be like to have the chance to be there on the 40th.

My favorite breakfasts are CRT and Akershus, and not just for the princesses. I like being able to enter MK and Epcot before RD, walk thru the empty park, and soak it all in before the crowd arrives. I like the food better at Akershus (& price) but there is something special about being inside a castle. We've done the breakfasts at AK and DHS, but it is not just the same thing for me.

Make sure you chase the crowds away for me. We have MNSSHP tickets and my favorite part is not having to wait in line for anything. This year's costume is 'pirate on vacation'.

Is this the spot where I can obtain my membership?! :) I've just now, after a number of years on this site, seen this section and instantly have a new obsession on the boards!

I'm the dad of 1 (+1 dog) and 1 on the way and share a lot of the criteria on the membership page. Goofy is also my mascot, with Beaker a close 2nd.

Yes, welcome!

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Dave, thanks for the description of events... Sounds like a madhouse , in the shops at least.

Back to cub scouts this afternoon, I'll see if I can help out without stepping on any toes. Should be fun.

Still planning our march trip. We're staying at POR, in the new royal guest rooms. Should be interesting. I'm open to any suggestions for things to do, my boys are 5 & 7, we are gonna try the Kim possible mission at WS for sure. May go for Jedi training academy instead of TSMM at DHS rope drop.
Any ideas welcome, thanks!

You can do JTA and TSM at rope drop.

Have DW take the kids to the JTA check in / pre screening area, while you take everyones MYW passes over to TSM and get the FP's, then meet them back at JTA where you may even have enough time to ride Star Tours before the first show.

Have fun...

This.

But be careful. If your wife/kids are too quick, and get signed up for the first show (usually 9:15 a.m.) you may not be able to get Fastpasses and get back to them in time for the show.
