Just got back from our Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens Hollow Scream weekend

If anyone goes to BG I HIGHLY recommend seeing the show Fiends, it is a mad Doctor with a slew of nurses All I'll say is I felt like I was in The Doll House in Fort Ladurdale, only thing that was missing was a stack of singles My wife's cousin meet us there and was surprised the show was still going on the way it is (he saw it last week) I wouldn't be surprised if they changed the wardrobe in the next weeks

But if you go make sure you catch this show you'll thank me later

IN CLOSING FOR TODAY. I HAVE TO ADMIT, IM NOT TO SENTIMENTAL, I GENERALY LOOK AHEAD. ALL THE TRIPS AND ALL THE YEARS I NEVER THOUGHT TO MUCH ABOUT ANYTHING BUT TODAY, STANDING WAITING FOR THE GATES TO OPEN AND THE ROPE DROP SHOW, I WAS THINKING THIS PLACE WAS ONLY 2 YEARS OLD THE FIRST TIME I WAS HERE. ALOT HAS CHANGED. I BASICLY GREW UP HERE. I STILL REMEMBER SITTING ON THE CURB IN FRONT OF THE CONFECTIONARY WAITING FOR THE ELECTRIC LIGHT PARADE AND MY DAD TELLING ME TO LOOK AROUND, YOULL NEVER KNOW WHEN YOULL BE HERE AGAIN. MY MOM BREAKING A DENTURE ON A FROZEN BANANA. BY BROTHER WHO PASSED AWAY SLEEPING IN THE CAR OUT BY THE MAIN GATE WAITING TO GET IN BECAUSE THE PARK WAS FULL TO CAPACITY. COMING DOWN WITH JUST MY DAD AFTER MY MOM PASSED. COMING DOWN THE NEXT YEAR ON MY HONEYMOON AFTER MY DAD PASSED. BRINGING BRIANA DOWN WHEN SHE WAS 9 MONTH OLD AND 24 MORE TIMES AFTER THAT.SEEING THAT SHE HAS THE SAME MEMORIES AS I WAS GIVIN, AND NOW STANDING INFRONT OF THE TRAIN STATION, JUST ME AND TAMMY (AND 50,000 OTHER PEOPLE) WAITING FOR THE GATES TO OPEN AGAIN. ALOT OF TIME AND MEMORIES ARE HERE, WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY. GOOD THING I HAD SUN GLASS'S ON IM SURE MY EYES WERE RED. BUT ALL GOOD THING. I WISH I COULD GO BACK AND DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN BUT I CANT. SO , LOOKING FORWARD TO THE 40 YEARS AND MORE MEMORIES!!

That's a lot of memories, Dave! I'm sure it was difficult holding back with all that pixie dust in the air!
OK... I have to stop here cause you really got me bummed about your brother passing away... how old was he??

were back at okw!!!! lets see a show of hands, two people who ate way to much in le cellier tonight and had a hard time walking???? not to mention laughing to hard!!
let me start off with the castle this morning. we walked in, check in at the castle, had our picture taken with cindy, i guess the prince was sleeping in this morning . we went up stairs and we were seated at the window facing fantasy land. we ate way to much!!! tammy got a wand and i got a sword and we left for the park.
we hit about 10 rides and we headed back for some lunch at okw and a nap. we headed over to epcot around 3 and got on ellen than over to nemo. we sat on nemo for about 15 min. that was fun. than we headed over to canada, found a bench in the shade and did nothing for 15 min.!! it was a great day, the weather is in the low 80s and not a cloud in the blue skys to be found.
its funny, over at the mk, there is not a trace of it being the 40th!!! gone, everything, the banners,baloons everything!! i thought maybe they would leave a banner up but nope, its gone!! i think we are going to hollywood in the am and get on tsm again and than do some hotel hopping.
i forgot to mention today in the mk, we were on buzz. tammy and i cant ride together we have to ride seperate.anyway, i had 999,999 on one gun and 520,000 on the other. i found the other 100,000. tammy had 190,000 she almost beat me on tsm on sunday.

he passed away in 2000, he was 45. he had limphoma for about 3 years. he was the reason we started going to wdw in 1973. he was stationed at homestead afb. his nick name was chip. thats why i have chip tattooed on my leg. he was named after my dad and one of them needed a nick name living in the same house.

It's like I've always said - WDW is no place for kids!!!!

i dont mind the kids , they have an excuse. its the adults! other than the malay in the shops in the mk and the drunk couple the other night, its been rather enjoyable.

down memory lane today..... my dad loved four rides in the mk, mission to mars, haunted mansion, tea cups and what he called the ge building.(from the ny worlds fair) caro. of prog. i didnt think the old man would spin in the tea cups, lmao: old man, he was my age at the time) ok, spun the guts out of me. so i made sure i spun the guts out of briana. only thing is she liked it. i have to learn how to use the scanner portion of our printer at home. i have some pics from the late 70s, early 80s. my parents house basement got flooded one year and we lost alot of the early 70s pics but i do have some late 70s. my dad only seen epcot one time. we were down in june of 1983. he passed away in 84. my mom only seen the mk. she passed away in 1981. thats why the earlier visits were only 2-3 day trips, the mk was the only park. the first time i was here we got here at 1pm and waited to get in till about 5 if i remember. we stayed till around 10 or so? my parents said, we'll come back when we have more time. who would of guessed.my inlaws cant figure this out. they not intrested with is fine with us. i know if my parents were still here, we would have company.

My non-Disney friends just don't get it. They talk about a great time at the beach. I tell them there is a beach at WDW. They talk about eating food, shopping, mini golf, boat excursions, etc and I say WDW has all that. I'm looking forward to when DW and I can take an adults only trip again.

Well I did not have as good a time as Dave is having at WDW (sounds like a great trip Dave), I did have fun. Here are a few of the bazzillion pics taken.

This guy was one of a pack that attacked me. Was kneeling on the sand and they thought it was lunch time.

It was quite funny. One even got a small piece of flesh. Man eater.

This guy spent about 20 minutes posing for us underwater. He came up to the surface and was nice enough to come back down to us for more posing.

This nurse was just chilling under a ledge and let us take a few pics

There was also a huge Grouper. Must have been at least 75 pounds.

Sorry Fed it is a marine sanctuary so he is safe from the frying pan.

Also shot a few videos. I will try to upload then later.

All in all a good time. Drive back Wednesday for a night dive and I take my friend and his kid back on Thursday.
