A cold day but strong performance on soccer field. 4-0 today. My daughter scored 2 goals. My oldest is lost w/o TV. She can't figure out what's going on. And, looks like Steve and I are temporary nemesi for the next few hours. Go UL Cards - beat the Herd.

We beat the school of my seconary nemesis!!! Woo Hoo...Go Herd or Go Home!!!! I just dindt like the comment at the end of the game by the broadcaster that he thought we were celebrating St Patricks Day...really idiot?......30 years since Louisville beat us and counting!

Time to brag. Our son made his first travel team yesterday. He is 10 and will be playing with the 11U basketball team. He is pretty pumped!

Unfortunately his football team lost again today.

Personally, I looking for another big win in fantasy football again tomorrow. Go Tortuga Cowboys!!

WE ARE ALIVE!!!!!

I KNOW IT LOOKS LIKE ANY OTHER DAY AT THE MK, BUT HE WE GO!!! WE GOT TO THE MK AT 8:15AM. THE AREA FROM THE TRAIN STATION TO THE TURN STILES WAS FULL, NO MORE PEOPLE WERE ALLOWED IN. BY THE TIME THE SHOW STARTED THEY WERE LINED UP ONTO THE MONORAIL STATION RAMPS AND UP TO THE PLAT FORM. THEY WERE BACKED UP TO THE BUS UNLOADING AREA!!!I HAVE NEVER SEEN SO MANY PEOPLE IN ALL MY LIFE!!! THE ROPE DROP WAS THE SAME AS ALWAYS. PEOPLE WERE IN LINE AT 4AM TO GET A WRIST BAND FOR THE OPPERTUNITY TO BUY A 40TH PIN.

FROM WHERE WE WERE STANDING BY THE TURNSTILES TILL WE WENT UNDER THE TRAIN STATION TOOK US 45 MIN. AFTER THE PARK OPENED. JUST A HUGE MASS OF HUMANITY. WE DIDNT PLAN MUCH BUT GET A FEW THINGS TO SAY WE WERE HERE AND NOW THE FUN STARTED. WE WENT INTO THE EMPORIUM AND THERE WERE ABOUT 250 PEOPLE (NOT KIDDING) IN ONE AREA RIPPING THROUGH T SHIRTS. WE WALKED UP TO THE STORE NEXT TO THE DOLEWHIPS AND STOOD IN LINE FOR 30 MIN. TO GET A SHIRT. WE WERE 8TH IN LINE AND WE JUST BARELY GOT ANY. PEOPLE ARE CRAZY!!! THE WERE GRABBING, NOT TAKING,GRABBING HANDFULLS,TALKING WHAT THEY WANTED AND HANDING THE REST TO ANYONE NEXT TO THEM. WOMEN WE PULLING ON THEM FROM EACH OTHER. LUCKLY I WAS PAIR UP WITH AN OLD LADY AND I KICKED HER BUTT!!!! IM JUST KIDDING, WE GOT A FEW SHIRTS, PAID OUR $90 AND WENT ON OUR WAY. ALL THE SPECIAL STUFF WAS SOLD OUT BY 10AM!!!

WHEN ENTERING THE PARK, THEY GAVE EVERYONE A 40TH PIN AND WHEN I WENT UNDER THE TRAIN STATION, I GRAB SOME MAPS. THEY HAVE OCT 1ST 2011 40TH ANIV. ON THEM. I DO HAVE ABOUT 5 OR 6 EXTRA!!! IF ANYONE WANTS ONE I CAN MAIL ONE TO THEM WHEN I GET HOME. RANDAL, PM ME YOUR ADDRESS AND ILL SEND YOU ONE!! THERE WAS A SHOW AT THE CASTLE BUT YOU COULDNT GET NEAR MAIN STREET TO SEE IT. I GOT AS FAR AS CRYSTAL PALACE AND THAT WAS IT.WE LEFT THE MK AROUND 10:30 AM. PEOPLE ARE NUTS!!! I JUST COULD WAIT TO GET OUT OF THERE. WE DID GET OUR SHIRTS A KEY CHAIN AND 2 PINS ALONG WITH OUR ENTRY BUTTONS AND MAPS. IN ORDER TO GET ANY OF THESE ITEM YOU HAD TO GET THROUGH THE GATE. CAN I SAY IT WAS FUN???? SORRY, NO. BUT IM GLAD WE DID IT. IF YOU WOULD HAVE SEEN HOW PEOPLE WERE GRABBING AND SHOVING OVER A SHIRT, PIN OR ANYTHING THAT WAS ONLY SOLD THAT DAY? SAD PART IS PEOPLE GRAB THE STUFF TO SELL IT ON EBAY. I HAD HERD THEY CLOSED THE PARK TO NON GUEST AT AROUND 10:30AM. I ALSO SEEN AN NYPD BOMB SNIFFING DOG IN THE EMPORIUM AND ALSO AT HOLLYWOOD TONIGHT. A GOOD SOURCE TOLD ME IT WHAT A TRAINING EXERCISE THAT THERE WAS NO THREATS. I WOULD OF LIKE TO SEE THE FIREWORKS BUT THERE WAS NO WAY I WAS EVEN GOING TO TRY IT. SO THERE YOU GO, THE 40TH HAS COME AND GONE, WE ALREADY SAID WE ARE COMING FOR THE 50TH AND WOULD LIKE TO STAY AT THE CONTEMP. WITH A MK VIEW! SO HAPPY BIRTHDAY WDW!!! IN CLOSING FOR TODAY. I HAVE TO ADMIT, IM NOT TO SENTIMENTAL, I GENERALY LOOK AHEAD. ALL THE TRIPS AND ALL THE YEARS I NEVER THOUGHT TO MUCH ABOUT ANYTHING BUT TODAY, STANDING WAITING FOR THE GATES TO OPEN AND THE ROPE DROP SHOW, I WAS THINKING THIS PLACE WAS ONLY 2 YEARS OLD THE FIRST TIME I WAS HERE. ALOT HAS CHANGED. I BASICLY GREW UP HERE. I STILL REMEMBER SITTING ON THE CURB IN FRONT OF THE CONFECTIONARY WAITING FOR THE ELECTRIC LIGHT PARADE AND MY DAD TELLING ME TO LOOK AROUND, YOULL NEVER KNOW WHEN YOULL BE HERE AGAIN. MY MOM BREAKING A DENTURE ON A FROZEN BANANA. BY BROTHER WHO PASSED AWAY SLEEPING IN THE CAR OUT BY THE MAIN GATE WAITING TO GET IN BECAUSE THE PARK WAS FULL TO CAPACITY. COMING DOWN WITH JUST MY DAD AFTER MY MOM PASSED. COMING DOWN THE NEXT YEAR ON MY HONEYMOON AFTER MY DAD PASSED. BRINGING BRIANA DOWN WHEN SHE WAS 9 MONTH OLD AND 24 MORE TIMES AFTER THAT.SEEING THAT SHE HAS THE SAME MEMORIES AS I WAS GIVIN, AND NOW STANDING INFRONT OF THE TRAIN STATION, JUST ME AND TAMMY (AND 50,000 OTHER PEOPLE) WAITING FOR THE GATES TO OPEN AGAIN. ALOT OF TIME AND MEMORIES ARE HERE, WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY. GOOD THING I HAD SUN GLASS'S ON IM SURE MY EYES WERE RED. BUT ALL GOOD THING. I WISH I COULD GO BACK AND DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN BUT I CANT.
