Our local news is reporting that Manning will not be ready for the home opener and may be out a couple of weeks. Apparently the Colts are looking for a veteran back up. :headache:

Someone get on a plane to Mississippi and see if Favre is ready to wear speed blue :lmao::rotfl2:

You should look. Maybe they still have Favre listed as a QB just for the fact that he still hasn't officially retired yet.:confused3:rotfl2:

ok, caught up now.

Now have a dilemma, I want to spend some time tonight with an old friend, but I have two to choose from.

Maybe you can help me decide, if you've met either.

First one's name is Mr. Daniels, first name Jack.
Second one's name is Mr. Walker, first name Johnnie - he's my black friend.

Will check back shortly to see who you called.

But first, DW is patiently waiting for me to help her unpack.

1st Day: Dinner- Sanna (so not to have to travel)
2nd Day: MK. Lunch- Crystal Palace, Dinner- California Grill
3rd Day: Epcot. Lunch- Via Napoli, Dinner - Koussina
4th Day: AK. Lunch- Yak & Yeti, Dinner- Jiko
5th Day: HS. Lunch- Brown Derby, Dinner- Boma
6th Day: MK. Lunch- Tony's, Dinner- Ohana's
7th Day: Epcot. Lunch- Via Napoli, Dinner- Le Cellier

Getting hungry just thinking about it!

Did mean to comment on this. You have some great picks and we have been to them all (except Koussina but that is on the list). The only two that I was not a real fan of was Saana and Tony's. We ate at Tony's maybe a decade ago, and haven't felt it was worth a second chance. Things may be better now. We ate at Saana in 2010. The food was hot, well seasoned - but it is just not my style of food. The scenery there was terrific.

Finally, I want to 2nd what Aaron said. That is a lot of food. We tried the DxDP once with a character breakfast in AM and signature for dinner. I could not eat all the food, and I am a big eater. But, what I also figured out was the amount of time we spent eating as opposed to enjoy the park/ resort. So, we have changed things a bit. We usually will now only eat a TS in the parks only once, preferable a character meal before park opens. The rest of the time, we split QS meals. We also will enjoy signature dining or another dinner at a resort on a non-theme park day. That way, we can enjoy everything WDW has to offer and not just the food (which is really good). Enjoy.

To bad your friend Mark isn't there for a visit (first name - Makers). I go with Jack. I'm not a big scotch person. In honor of our Fantasy draft, I bought Coors Light Draft, official sponsor of the NFL and those great commercials with Jim Mora and Dennis Green. "Playoffs". But, as slow as the draft is going, I'm going to need to make another beer run.

I have to vote for Mr. Daniels... although I'm a little bit biased. The company I work for is their corn supplier.:thumbsup2

I haven't had a beer in about 3 weeks... sure wish I had some in the fridge right now.

Mark hasn't been in my home for a long time. Maybe I'll invite him back someday.

Look's like Jack's the winner.
Firstly because he got the most votes.
Secondly, I am willing to take one for the team for a fellow DISDad's company.
And Thirdly, just bought a huge honken' bottle at Duty Free.

Cheers.... :drinking1

Hopefully we will meet up next time I'm down that way.

Hey there guys. Sorry I've been MIA the last couple of days. Our eldest daughter Mary fell off a fence on Thursday afternoon and broke her elbow. Well, yesterday she had surgery to reset the orbital head which had been twisted and flipped in her fall.

She's doing very well today and is excited to show off her lime green cast to all her friends.

Now Mary wanted to add some smilies to this post.

:lovestruc :cutie:  :dance3: :laundy: :grouphug:
:littleangel: :p :crazy2: :mic: :faint:

Hope she's feeling better Brian! Give her a chest-bump for me.

Not sure if any of you will remember my post on the old thread...I made one post and almost as soon as I finished I received a call that my Dad was critically ill and he passed away unexpectedly. I am finally getting caught back up and ready to do a little planning and wanted to thank you for the welcome..I went back and read your notes. You guys are dedicated Disney fans, through and through....That's for sure! I like that quality in a person!

We are actually in the process of planning a trip in October. The Dis Board site is full of great Ideas and helpful tips. I'll try to keep up!:thumbsup2

I just realized that was my 300th post! Wahoo!
congrats and welcome back dr. phil!:thumbsup2

:rotfl2: I would have beverly'd my pants too...not funny.

Oh...and by the way....my HVAC system just needed more refrigerant. No leaks. Said the temperature differential between the two lines was too far apart.

The best part about it was that he was a "friend of a friend" and did it all for $40! Tightened all my lines...cleaned out what needed cleaned out. Everything is running as it should. :thumbsup2
:thumbsup2 that will do it. they dont freeze up for no reason. have hin check your pres. in the spring to make sure its holding. :thumbsup2 sometimes if you have a quick connect type line set you can get leaks around the fitting nuts. glad its worked out.:thumbsup2

That is funny and I would have called him a name as well. My boss is 4 hours away from me, so I don't get that luxury. But, I did receive an urgent email that said call ASAP. When I called (worried), he said that he needed planning help for WDW and it turned it, we overlapped being at WDW by a few days. So, to get him back, I sent him a travel voucher with the mileage to WDW for "meeting with asst director", lodging costs for the hotel, food prices, and the special expense page included our purchased disney merchandise for "consultation" reimbursement. I heard from the others in the office that they had a good laugh.
:lmao:

he treats me like a son, i really cant complain. when all this stuff with tammy losing her eye sight, they wanted to see her first thing in philly the next morning. we were expecting a snow storm that morning. he has a new suburban, he offered to drive us down to the hosp. in philly. hes helped me out with investments over the years and just a real good guy. another one of the guys who worked there longer than i have had some credit problems years ago. he wanted to buy a house and the owner of the company bought the house. he let the guy move in and 100 percent of the rent he paid went to the purchase of the house. no intrested. the guy paid it off in 12 years and he signed the house over to him. they pay our entire healthcare for the employee and the family. its hard to find a nicer guy to work for.

I just watched Rango tonight with the kids. What on earth was that all about? :confused3

It felt like some drug-induced vision of Spaghetti westerns kind-of tailored for kids. I got most of the jokes - my kids had no idea. Just plain weird. :sad2:

Welcome back nonetheless.

I liked it a lot. DS and DD have watched it about 10 times since we bought it, so I assume they like it also. DW thought it was kinda weird, like you. Wait, that may not have come out right. She doesn't think you are weird - she thinks the movie was weird. :lmao:
